Despite regaining her consciousness, Rosemary was still too weak to remain awake for too long. Adrienne had been worried when she saw her mother drifting back to sleep, afraid that she wouldn't wake up again, but the doctor assured her that her mother was merely tired and would need a lot of rest. She also mentioned that it was quite usual for most patients to be unable to stay conscious for more than a few hours after waking up for the first time. 

"Give it time, Addie. I'm sure she'll wake up again." Lennox placed a hand on her back as they watched Rosemary sleep again. 

Adrienne nodded, trying to find comfort in Lennox's words. She knew that her mother's recovery would take time, but the fear of losing her still lingered. Hoping for the best, she whispered, "I just hope it happens soon. I miss seeing her awake and talking to us."
