Adrienne had no idea Alistair was planning something to separate her from Lennox. Once she settled in Jinxiu Garden, she asked Irina one afternoon to drop her off at StarMedia to meet Abigail for the production of the film "Time After Time." 

As she expected, her cousin, Ayla Jiang, begrudgingly accepted the supporting role. Adrienne knew Ayla wasn't stupid enough to miss the opportunity to make a name for herself using this film, but Ayla had no idea it wouldn't be easy with Adrienne. 

Adrienne took the private elevator that led to the CEO's office along with her lady bodyguards. She was with her personal assistant, who appeared to have come straight out of a fashion magazine, when they arrived at Abigail Li's office. 

"Addie, I didn't expect you to arrive so early. The meeting hasn't ended yet. " Abigail stood up from her seat and drew Adrienne into a hug. Adrienne felt a bit awkward, but she accepted the gesture nonetheless.
