The System

Vergil awoke to the smell of blood. He hadn't noticed it before, but while he was fighting the [Red Eyed Wolves], a lot of their blood had gotten on him. Vergil was almost tempted to buy some sort of cleaning product from the shop but decided against it since he was trying to save up points for something cool.

Vergil used Ryujin Jakka to lift himself up, inspecting the area and himself. He noticed that the almost sentient pain he had been feeling before, was now gone. His right arm wounds seemed to of healed up, but he could still only barely manage any sort of movement before he felt intense pain.

Next Vergil went up to inspect his elf ear, and to none's surprise, a piece of his left ear had been torn off. Vergil didn't mind it all that much since it was only the top part and not the whole ear, which meant it was still usable. Although Vergil wanted to clean himself up, it wasn't his top priority right now.

In his previous life, Vergil didn't care all that much about how he looked around others. He would wear whatever he wanted when going outside, not caring about the bad looks people were giving him. Although some would regard him as "bad mannered" Vergil didn't see it that way and only thought of it as "It's just how I am."

Now that Vergil was in a magical world and thought he could do anything, he wouldn't of minded going into a fancy restaurant with his currently tattered and bloodied up robes. Vergil, after checking himself for a bit, went over to inspect the wolves for possible materials. The wolves were somewhat scattered around and Vergil who was still feeling a little weak used Ryujin Jakka as a "proper" staff and held himself up with it while looking for the wolves.

First, he went over to the wolf by the tree, he sat down by it and using Ryujin Jakka's pointy side, started to dissect it. Although Vergil had never dissected any sort of animal for materials, he knew anatomy and just separated the organs he recognized into sections.

Vergil went at it for a few solid hours, paying close attention to all the organs he was taking out. Eventually, he finished and was now left with [Red Eyed Wolf] bloody fur. Vergil decided it would be for the best to clean this fur up, as he would most likely make it into armor in the future. Although Vergil was wearing Ichigo's Final Bankai robes, they didn't provide much resistance and were more or less for show. Vergil decided it was in his best interest to find a pond or a river to clean up the fur, but before he could get up, a new system notification appeared.

Vergil was happy to of gotten a new skill but realized one important thing, he had yet to check his [Stats] tab! Vergil also realizing that he also had some unassigned points, immediately when to the [Stats] tab.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----An: There are some hidden stats such as stealth, that Vergil will only be able to see with a certain item.-----

Vergil, after seeing his stats, concluded that the starting amount was probably 10. He came to this conclusion after noticing that strength had no sort of added buffs, not even from his warrior class, and was only at 10. Magic was the highest because of his elf class and the bonus from the forest.

Endurance was probably up a bit because of the warrior class, Dexterity and agility were up because of his hunter class. Vergil eyed his [Stats] tab for a bit and started wondering about his [Elf] race. Vergil wondered if he could ever evolve it, and if he could, would he change physically mentally or perhaps change in some way unknown to him. Putting those thoughts aside for now though, Vergil decided it was time to increase his stats.

He could put all his distributables into one stat, or he could distribute them equally. Vergil dwelled on this for a while before concluding. Since his strength stat was the lowest, he would put three points into it to make it 13, then he would put his remaining points into his other stats. Once Vergil was done, all of his stats were increased by one and he still had two points left that he would use for a later cause.

Now that Vergil was done with investigating his [Stats] page, he decided to give his system a thorough look. He noticed that there were 5 other tabs besides his [Stats page]. There was [Store],[Minimap],[Inventory],[Relationships], and [Skill Tree]. Vergil first took a look at the [Store] page, it was filled to the brim with all sorts of items. From guns to electric wires to magical items such as staffs and spellbooks.

Vergil wasn't surprised by the amount, as he had been suspecting this after looking at the customization UI, which had thousands of choices for just T-Shirts. Vergil looked at the vast amount of items for a bit, before making his way over to the next tab. Vergil went over to the [Minimap] tab. He clicked on it only to be greeted by a single button that read, [Unlock for 100 SP].

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Hah! You thought I'd give YOU a free minimap! hahaha! You crack me up Vergil, honestly.]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vergil seemingly used to the systems remarks, simply ignored it and moved on to the next tab. He clicked on [Inventory] only to find out it was also locked behind a 100 SP paywall.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Honestly Vergil, you should be thankful I didn't make it 1000 SP. I mean, you already have 30 SP you just need 70 more SP right? (:]

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vergil once again ignoring the system, moved on to the next tab, known as [Relationships]. Vergil wasn't quite sure what it was for but suspected it was for relationships between himself and others such as friends and...love interests. Vergil almost fell face first as his imagination ran wild. Honestly, he wouldn't be surprised if a girl ever fell for his current self, as he was currently very attractive. What Vergil worried about though, was the fact that he had little to no experience with women. And If a girl ever did fall for him, Vergil suspected he wouldn't know what to do.

Putting all those thoughts behind him though, he clicked on the [Relationships] tab and was greeted with another message.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Although as much as I would love to unlock this for you...You've legit only been talking to yourself this whole time besides your interactions with the goddess. I suggest talking to another human being before opening this tab again.]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sighing at another seemingly insulting message from the system, Vergil moved on to the final tab, the [Skill Tree]. In this tab he saw four subsections these included [Elf],[Warrior],and [Hunter]. Vergil first looked at the [Elf] section and saw that it had multiple "tree-like" branches surfacing from it. Vergil eyed the [Skill Tree] and noticed that he had four unassigned skill points. Vergil decided that the best way to decide on what to assign his skill points was to simply look at the different tabs and decide on his own. Vergil decided to look at his [Elf] tab first. He saw there was a multitude of skills that all eventually led down to [Evolve].

Vergil was excited as this meant that he really could evolve his race and maybe even his jobs. Vergil also noticed that to unlock certain skills, previous ones must have been unlocked already. He also noticed that the lower he went into the skill tree the more costly the skills were.

Vergil decided against wasting his skill points on the only skill currently available for unlocking in the [Elf] tab which was [Meditate] until he looked at all the other tabs. Vergil went through the other tabs and noticed that they all had similar layouts with [Evolve], being the last thing he could unlock.

The [Hunter] class had a passive increase in Dex as the first thing he could unlock, while the [Warrior] class had a skill named [Devastating Slash] as the first thing he could unlock. Vergil noticed that all of the "skills" cost 1 skill point and decided to just unlock all of them.

Afterward, Vergil was left with only 1 skill point remaining and decided to save it. He went over to the [Stats] page since the system had given him a notification stating that he had received a new section to it. When he clicked on the [Stats] page he noticed that his Dex had gone up and was now his highest stat with a total of 22. He also noticed that along with his stats, races, and jobs he now had a [Skills] section.

Vergil was feeling good about his newfound skills but also noticed that he didn't know how to use them. He was perplexed for a while before trying something that may or may not work. He "imagined" himself using the [Meditate] skill. Although it sounded dumb at first, Vergil was able to make it work and was set off into a deep meditative like state.

The meditative state ended up bringing him into a new world. The new world was empty, nothing but blank space for miles upon miles. Vergil walked around for what seemed like hours. He was just about to will himself out when he noticed something. His hand was turning ablaze and his whole body was being set afire.

It wasn't just Vergil though, The whole space was burning. What seemed like an empty canvas had now turned into a fiery inferno. Vergil wasn't sure how but the fire felt so real, it was as if his very soul was burning up. "AGHHHHH" Vergil screamed out as the pain from being burnt to the core was simply unbearable. Vergil had been trying to will himself out of the space for a while now, but he was simply not able to as the pain overtook all of his mind.

The raging inferno continued for a while before Vergil eventually succumbed to the pain. He passed out, but not before hearing something or someone say, "That's what you get for trying to invade my world in such a weak state. Come back when you think you can handle this raging inferno, I'll be waiting."

---------END (As always feedback is appreciated!)

Tell me if the System seems a little to complicated, I don't want my readers to be confused while reading my story, lol.
