Reward

David lay contemplating on everything that's happened before being interrupted by Eva's smooth, feminine voice.

"David has complete mission. Rewards will now be recomposed." Eva interrupted David as she said before David started hearing 'ding' like notifications inside his head followed by the name's of his rewards.

•MISSION COMPLETE•

•25,000 FUK received•

•Uncommon Hiking Boots received•

David rested on the floor for a while longer before opening his eye lids and helping himself off the ground. David was now calm and decided to check with the system.

"Eva, what are the current features of the system available to me right now?" David asked Eva since he wasn't really told the things the system was capable of before being sent off into the mountains.

"Only 1 features is currently available to David: Store feature. More features can be purchased within store." Eva told David.

"You told me I can but the mapping feature and get a roulette ticket if I buy that feature, right?" Asked David remembering the Limited Time Offer from before.

"That is correct." Said Eva in an indifferent tone.

"Then I'll buy the mapping feature, and open the store for me so I can check out what's available." Said David.

"Very well." Eva said as a screen similar to a game board appeared inside David's head with the word 'Store' at the very top. On the top right corner was a spinning wheel and at the center of the spinning wheel was a '1' which David assumed to be the roulette and the tickets he has. To the top left corner was an arrow pointing left with tiny letters under the arrow that spelled 'Back'. In the middle of the screen was a rectangle that seemed similar to a search bar and under was a bunch of squares that had a picture of something followed by the name of the item and then the price.

The first item at the top had a picture of a heart, but the picture already gave a majestic and arrogant vibe in itself. The name next to the picture of the heart was spelled 'Royal Dragon Heart'. And the price was expensive at 248,000 FUK. Although the price was expensive, David was thinking that he can earn this much FUK quickly if he did 12 missions during his adaption period.

"Hey Eva, why are Dragon Hearts cheap? Shouldn't it be more expensive since dragons are known to be really strong in most myths?" Asked David wondering why the price was cheaper than the 1 million he thought it would be, not that he was thinking a dragon heart would actually be sold by the system, if it was even real.

"Although dragons are known to be powerful, Royal Dragons are still mortal even though they are at the peak, and are therefore not above 1,000,000 FUK. Any items containing an ounce of divinity would cross the cost of 1,000,000 FUK. And all items sold within the system store are real." Said Eva making David feel as if he was ridiculed for thinking it wasn't real.

"Ok, I don't even have enough for that. How do I get the Hiking Boots though, and why does it have 'Uncommon' at the beginning?" Asked David feeling fishy like he was about to get scammed, and he was right as Eva said

"Uncommon Hiking Boots are located within system's storage to prevent any robbery and damage. To access storage, purchase system storage feature at 10,000 FUK." Said Eva before continuing, "Items are divided into different grades: Novice, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Myth, and Legend. Items from grades Novice to Rare can be found within the mortal world, but with great difficulty for items that are Uncommon or Rare. Great heroes and villains from well known stories usually have Epic items that are used, but only intellectual beings with divinity are able to gain and handle a Myth grade item. Legend grade items are known to have been seen, but nobody knows whether someone has been able to hand the power contained within a Legend grade item and successfully use the item."

"I see...Is it okay to tell me this or do I have to pay now?" Asked David unknowing what to do with all the information since he doesn't even think he'll ever receive a high grade weapon.

"Information is not a secret and is free, worry is unnecessary." Eva told David as if she felt wronged before quickly giving off a serious vibe. David was glad but noticed that Eva was already starting to speak, or think, with emotions, but David didn't care as long as nothing bad happened.

"Thanks for the info. I'll buy the storage feature since I'll need to anyways if I want to get the Hiking Boots and other stuff I buy in the future, also, start using the mapping feature too since I already bought it and need to put it to use. And as for the roulette ticket, I'll just use it right now since it'll be useless if I die too soon without using the item I can get that might save my life." David spoke to Eva as Eva solely responded with-

"Affirmative."

Before she stopped shooting off more information. David focused his attention back to the roulette wheel in the top right corner as he tensed up and acted as if he was about to win a million dollar lottery.
