Hidden Mission Complete
The manual David bought was now in his inventory. Checking his inventory, David was looking at the only 3 items he has: Uncommon Hiking Boots, the double daggers, and Arts Of Dual Dagger Forces.
David looked at the average book, now in his hand, and wished he could have the status skill.
Eva told him the status skill was was able to view strengths in numerical form, but Eva had forgot to tell him the status skill can also view the status of non living objects, which she only told him now.
David is looking at the book from various angles to try and find something hidden, but the book was only average in all spots.
The normal looking book already toned down his excitement, but not nearly enough to make him not feel excited at all.
Opening the book, David saw the first page and instantly felt as if something was entering into his body like a needle quickly piercing into him. David was about to ask Eva what was happening, but before a second even passed, a wave load of information came crashing into his brain.
The information felt so intense that David felt like he was burning alive, and crumbled to his knees. David clutched his head in both hands before banging his head onto the ground.
David repeatedly banged his head against the floor and blood starting dripping from his head as the information continued flowing in nonstop.
The information slowly stopped coming in quickly before stopping altogether. When the information finished streaming into his brain, David blacked out unconscious without being able to let out a scream or noise.

David's eyelids slowly opened, revealing a small pond of blood in front of him. David lifted his hand only to find out he wasn't able to move at all. David couldn't even feel pain anymore, only small stings continuously happening all over his body. Wondering what to do, even in this moment showed just how different David was compared normal humans, and as David was thinking this Eva's emotionless voice sounded.
"David's body is now fully paralyzed. Undergoing recovery." David patiently listened to Eva's voice while another sound popped up in David's mind.

"Eh?" When David heard this, he forgot all the pain that he went through and was dumbfounded, but mostly confused.
"Eva, I don't recall doing another mission so how did I even complete one and get all these rewards doing nothing?" David spoke up regarding the rewards.
"David has accomplished hidden mission 'Resurrect'. Rewards have been accordingly." Eva told David as he was confused, yet again.
"You never told me hidden missions existed!" David yelled, but not angrily, but joyously.
If hidden missions existed then David could do something random and complete the mission and receive the goodies which excited David as he asked:
"What was the hidden mission about, Eva?"
Followed by Eva's response as she repeated the mission description
"Death has arrived at your doorstep. Survive through your death and continue growing."
"What!? When was I about to die!!?" David couldn't help but yell at Eva when being told that he almost died, again. David's first Death still felt slightly unreal, but David thought almost dying in silence without realizing was worse than dying in torture.
The moment Death chances upon you without even realizing and being trapped inside a void of endless darkness for who knows how long.
