Reborn With A System and A Girlfriend

I'm Skye,I have black hair,blue eyes,and some people say a charming smile. I am 1.78 meters tall and come from your average middle class family. "Guess whoooo" and then here is Isabella,my beautiful blue haired, blue eyed childhood friend since birth. Our parents were best friends and ended up both getting pregnant near the same time which caused both me and Isabella to to be born right next to each other. "Ahhh attacker,karate chop" I learned how to fight when I was little which led to me using it a bit too much. "Owww,Skye it's just me"

"Oh I'm so sorry Bel you scared me. But you have to admit,if you were really attacking me you would have been knocked out."

"Sigh you and your fighting skills Skye."

Isabella and I do everything together,we eat together,we go to the same schools,we even changed together at one point.(That got stopped right away because Isabella always got a nose bleed.)

That's another thing,Isabella kinda has a crush on me. I don't know how it all started but she told me that she liked girls one day but she never told me who in specific, I started doing some detective work which kinda of led to her end up having a crush on me.

I don't like to talk about her romance life because I'm completely straight so it can get awkward sometimes. We were both born and raised in the United States but our parents both come from China.

I'm not the best when it comes to school as I usually need Isabella to help me get through the subjects.

My parents always say I should do better in school,but until I find interest in something, it is really hard for me to focus. Even Isabella thinks I'm a little too lazy for a girl my age but as I always tell her" I'm in my first year of high school,let me rest so I can focus more later."(The rest doesn't make me focus more)

Our parents aren't home much,so it is usually just Isabella and I hanging out together at our houses."YAYYYY!Skye look at this,our class is going on a class field trip to the mountains."

"Okay sounds like fun,when is it?"

"The flyer says we are going tomorrow and coming back on Tuesday. Oh Skye it's going to be so much fun,you and me together on a mountain. " As Isabella is saying this,her cheeks start getting red. This happens a lot when Isabella starts daydreaming about us being alone. I can only imagine what she thinks about me.

"Hey Isabella,what are you thinking about."

"AHH! N-n-nothing w-what d-do you mean,I have to go bye." I start laughing seeing her running away blushing. "Sigh, I hope nothing bad happens tomorrow. Whatever it's going to be fine,I'm just going to go to sleep.

"Hey Bel these mountains are really beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you." Isabella starts whispering but I can't hear her.

"What did you say?"

"Oh nothing, yeah these mountains are really beautiful."

The bus keeps driving until we reach the very top of the mountain and everybody steps out.

" Okay students we are going to start setting up camp here,everyone go have fun and meet back here in thirty minutes."

"Skye let's take a picture together."

"Okay,let's find a better spot though,this ground feels like it's going to fa-AHHHHHH!" The grounds bellow my feet starts to shift and I start falling.

"SKYE GRAB ON!"

Isabella starts screaming and reaches out her hand. I open my eyes to see her staring at me barely holding on my hand as I am hanging out the edge.

"Oh no Bel it's not going to hold us anymore, you have to let me go."

"NO IM NOT LETTING YOU GO!I CANT YOUR ALL I HAVE LEFT!"

"I hope we can meet in the next life,goodbye Bel." I say my final sentences and let go looking back at Bel staring down at me.

As I am falling down I go through what everyone goes through when they are about to die. I start remembering my past,my friends,the things I always took for granted. Then I started to think about her. Bel was there for me from the beginning and she loved me,but I never did anything back besides staying friends." I hope I will love you in the next life Bel,goodbye." I say my final words as my body finally hits the ground.

SPLAT!

"What is happening?" I thought to myself. I heard the sound I made when I fell but I didn't feel any pain. I open my eyes to see nothing but white. Nothing exists here besides me slowly floating around. That is until I see it,a black glowing ball is floating around. "Whatever even if I don't get it nothing good could happen staying in here." I say to my self. I reach out to grab the ball but when I do I can see Isabella through it.

"What even is this anymore! What's happening to me." I start screaming as I violently grab the ball.

[Hello Human]

"Ummm yeah no that's terrifying." I try to float away but no matter what I do the ball stays near me.

"AHH WHAT DO YOU WANT YOU STUPID BALL!

[Human doesn't have the qualifications to learn the name of the system. Now may I ask again,do you want it.]

"Whatever I can't do anything else. Yes I want it."

[ Okay Human, I will start the transfer now. Oh by the way this will hurt a lot.]

"It's fine I can tak- AGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

The pain kicks in as I start screaming. It feels like needles are piercing my brain and heart one by one. The pain finally starts decreasing"phew that hurt but it wasn't to bad"and then I start to feel it "Why did I even say anything-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

For thirty minutes I dealt with that back and forth pain until.

After the system stopped talking everything faded to blue and my view got distorted. "System what is this?"
