118 Our Family Name...

"You want to set up a pharmaceutical company?" Esmond wondered where Gabriel came up with this idea because he'd never mentioned focusing on the medical field straight away.

"Mm… we are already developing advance procedures to help the Clones and super soldiers being created for the Armed Forces, so I believe we can use a portion of the current resources to work on the medical field.

Flu, viruses, and disease run rampant throughout the world, which should be treated by the pharmaceutical companies yet they just want to extend the problem so they can provide a momentary relief to the issue." Gabriel spoke while walking beside Esmond through the Second City.

They were heading over to the medical clinics that were established, even though nobody ever got the flu or a disease within the space, there were broken bones and bruises from time to time.

"I don't mind you establishing a company that focuses on the medical field, however it's going to be troubling…

If we give out the cure to cancer or any of the other issues plaguing the world, do you really believe they will let our company operate without a problem?" Esmond ruffled the hair of a small Zadrisian child who was patiently sitting in the waiting room of the medical clinic with his mother.

Seeing the innocent smile of the young child, Esmond continue to walk through the clinic without anyone stopping him or Gabriel.

Some even tried to bow before the two but Esmond stopped them with a wave of his hand, using Lifeforce Control to keep them upright.

"I'm counting on the pharmaceutical companies to try something in fact…" Esmond stopped walking and looked over at Gabriel with a confused expression.

Gabriel understood Esmond wanted to hear more about her plan, so Gabriel continued to explain the plan to undermine corporate pharmaceuticals.

"I was planning on using stem cell research to create a procedure which could work; however, the time of recovery would shorten.

Not just that, the cells being generated would be artificial therefore they would be able to adapt to any and all bodies, regardless of their DNA.

We can use this opportunity to market the procedure to help people with Glaucoma, spinal injuries, diabetes and much more.

While this would definitely bother certain companies, who would obviously come looking for a way to get their hands on the research…

I think… no…

I will have them stuck in my trap…" Esmond noticed the sly grin on Gabriel's face and felt like laughing but because of the place they were currently in, he didn't find it an appropriate action within the medical clinic.

"Fine…

Gabriel, I give you free reign to do your research but have everything done within the space and use the Virtual Labs.

At most, find as many medical projects as possible you can and find the solutions to everything within the Virtual Lab

We can create our own database of solutions to medical problems before we introduce them bit by bit.

Problems like Aids, malaria, tuberculosis, and other issues are the main health concerns of Somalia and the surrounding nations.

If we can have the solution and necessary equipment ready to facilitate the care of the people when we take over, it will definitely increase our favourability among the people." Ben said, giving Gabriel plenty of control and freedom to start her own venture.

.

"Make sure, if you start this company, you're at the head of it.

Have a custom droid made to fit your appearance if must and send it out into the world if its needed.

Also… focus on autism and other neural issues affecting children and adults around the world.

Even if you need to create an institute for them… include it as part of the pharmaceutical company."

Ben said nothing else, which became the cue for Gabriel to vanish from Esmonds side.

'*Sigh* It won't be long before Carter or the others come asking for a little freedom outside of the space… thankfully Eddies been on top of this well in advance.'

Esmond praised his quick thinking early on and had Eddie diversity the wealth that he had gathered to create dozens of profiles who controlled the wealth.

The idea was to show to the world that Esmond wasn't alone when time came to surface.

That was going to be especially true at the first Formula One race on the 16th of March in Melbourne.

With their going to be two teams in Esmonds control, even though he became the new owner of Formula One Group, they would be overseen by other A.I Spirits who would be making their first public appearance using droids made to look like themselves in the space.

Esmonds whole idea was to create this public persona and image for the droids and himself that would be separate from his original self.

It was necessary for the future ambitions Esmond had decided on for the world, so he believed Gabriel and the others being beside him at the racing even would be ideal to introduce themselves.

Currently a majority of the work was covered by external law firms James knew of and employed to work for Primal Management, but it wouldn't be able to last forever.

By creating an image of the figureheads that lead the organisations or corporations within Esmonds control, people would eventually come to trust the products a little more, while also creating many more viable connections for the future.

.

Now that Esmond was alone and Gabriel had left him at the medical clinic, he entered the furthest room away that was designed to house advance healing medical pods, similar in design to the military educational training ones, but the main difference was the accelerated healing factor.

Within the room, there were several patients being treated from their injuries incurred at the Training Grounds of the Second City Palace.

The person Esmond had come to seek was a member of the Great Warring Clan that had been summoned earlier on in the day and lost in a battle with one of the council members of the Yautja.

Unlike those who were currently situated at the military facilities within the space and were training within the Virtual World, there was a portion who preferred a relaxed atmosphere, especially after being reborn.

The memories of their previous deaths and lives haunted many to become stronger but with more and more choosing this path, a certain amount chose to lead and manage their people.

Oscar and Aksel, were two people that had taken such a stance and led those who preferred the freedom within the space and what it had to offer them.

Esmond had come to the medical clinic to find one of these people from the Us'Theraei clan that he wanted to employ in the near future.

"Lord Esmond, how may we help you today?" a Genetically Augmented Enhanced human doctor said once she noticed Esmond standing before a particular medical pod.

"… Just came to check on these fighting maniacs…

How is there recovery going, doctor?"

"Exceptional, My Lord.

With the help of the Medical Pods, we've been able accelerate the healing process while also learning a great deal about the various anatomies of the residents within the Spatial Ark Star World."

Esmond listened attentively to the doctor as she explained everything that was found during the medical examinations.

"Hmm… very well…

Once they are nearly ready to be discharged, please contact Oscar and Aksel.

I've got some plans for them all…"

The doctor obliged before escorting Esmond out of the clinic.

.

While he didn't spend a long time at the clinic or with Gabriel, Esmond believed the necessary work was done for the day and returned home to rest like before. but on the way home Esmond was stopped and called elsewhere within the space.

"What's going on Carter?" Esmond arrived at a military compound where certain vehicles were tested and managed.

Carter was waiting by a large hanger, expressionless and appeared to be restless, causing Ben to feel concerned something had gone wrong.

"*Sigh* just come with me and you'll notice yourself…" Carter said before turning around and headed for the small narrow opening between the large hanger doors.

Once Esmond entered through the gap, he noticed the various types of aircrafts ranging from the redesigned Pelican dropship to the F/A-37 Talon and even the F-99 Combat Aerial Vehicle from the UNSC database.

Many were fully equipped with weapons while others were partially operational, but it wasn't what Carter wanted to show Esmond.

In the corner, there was a black fabric sheet covering some object, roughly a couple metres long.

Because of how the fabric laid over the mysterious object, Esmond was able to understand what it was from the outlined shape.

Taking in a deep breath, Esmond looked over at Carter for confirmation before he removed the sheet.

"Go for it, Esy…

After all, you're the one to design it, brother…"

Esmond moved forward and pulled at the corner of the sheet, watching closely with tears forming in his eyes.

"Its time to showcase the power of my… No.

Our family name…" Esmond said as his eyes looked over the beautiful gold, crimson and jet black, formula one vehicle, before he turned his head in Carter's direction who appeared just as determined.

"I promise you Esy…

They will see your work change the world…" Carter spoke while walking over to Esmonds side.

Completely aware what Carter meant, Esmond wrapped his arm around Carter's shoulder while the two stood still and said nothing.

All they did was admire the power of engineering before their eyes.
