1 Chapter 1

A/N: Before this kicks off, I just want to say that all the pairings have been decided. Also that this story will consist of mainly just Slice of Life and maybe the occasional supernatural ones in there. Also, a few minor changes may be made to certain things. Finally, prepare for some illogical things to happen, maybe. This is the fictional world, after all, nothing makes sense [-__-]

His life was insane.

That small yet simple statement held so much truth in it that it honestly was ridiculous to the max. Those words were the perfect way to describe Kal's life ever since he had been reborn into this strange new life, after having perished in his previous one in a rather unfortunate accident.

Kal was your simple teenager that went about his life like any other teenager would. Going to school, making friends, hanging out with friends and so much more. But, it all had to end at some point. He just hadn't expected those times to end so suddenly and early then he first anticipated.

When having been given the choice to be reborn, you can bet your fortune that he was surprised!

Not only was that insane in itself, but also the fact that he was given one damn simple yet crazy stupid system. Whatever divine entity gave him this second chance had also granted him the power to random draw different skills, such as drawing and driving or whatever.

It was a luck of the draw-type system.

He had a transparent screen of sorts located in the corner of his peripheral vision, one which he could make disappear or change positions whenever he wished. Bringing it up now, he could see quite a bit of information on himself.

Over the sixteen years he had lived here in this new world, he noticed that it closely resembled his own with only a few minor differences, and he had accumulated a number of skills from the system. As can be seen from the list above. Which isn't easy as to get a coin to get a skill, you required to accomplish some kind of task, but you don't know what it is.

So, all he could do was go about his life and at some point, he'll be given a coin due to something he does. The first coin he had gotten was due to him having helped an old woman find her pet cat that had ended up wandering off somewhere.

Aside from his skills though, his life was an interesting one.

He was surprised at first when he had awoken as a baby and had found out he was actually in an orphanage, it appeared that his parents had left him here, well the parent he had in this world. It didn't actually bother him at all that they left him.

In fact, he was glad.

In his old world, both of his parents were probably the kindest people you could ever meet. They were rich, but they weren't arrogant nor did they use their status to do anything corrupt or manipulative. They raised and loved him greatly.

He felt like if he were to meet his so-called parents here, then it would be like throwing away his true parents for new ones. It honestly left a sour taste in his mouth. There would only be one true mother and father for him, and that was his old parents.

On the bright side, he apparently still kept his original name at least. Anyway, he had grown up to be the oldest of the children at the orphanage, the second youngest having been only a year younger than himself. He took the advantage of being the oldest of them to cook as the people who managed the orphanage allowed him to do so.

It was thanks to that, that his cooking skill had ranked up so much and was now as high as it can possibly go.

It wasn't actually too long from the present time that he had been allowed to move out from the orphanage to live on his own so he could be independent. He was honestly shocked that it was even allowed since he was only sixteen, but, he wasn't complaining.

It also did help him greatly that he had already graduated from high school. He was what you would call a genius, his grades were the absolute best and he had easily skipped a few grades due to it. He was only sixteen, yet here he was. A graduated student.

His body had developed well over the years as well, mainly since he was definitely not going to waste the opportunity to get well fit early on. He knows that it'll help him out greatly in the future if he decides to do anything physical related, but he wasn't sure yet.

He was now a young male with a lean yet muscular build with beautiful fair skin, skin being so fair that any female would definitely fume in jealousy over it. He had raven black neat straight hair with a few silver strands and a pair of amethyst purple eyes.

His current attire being a tight pair of black long pants, white running shoes, and a tight white t-shirt that stuck well to his frame. On top of the t-shirt was also a black long-sleeved hooded jacket with silver linings, the jacket also being one with a zipper.

Since he was living on his own, he needed a way to get around fast. Thankfully, the school that he had previously attended was a prestigious one, and could really bend the rules for its students quite a bit. It sounded goddamn shady now that he thought about it.

Meh.

"Hm, who's calling me?" Kal muttered as he was currently leaning against his motorcycle as he was looking out towards the ocean. He reached into his pocket before fishing out his phone and looking to see a call coming in. "Akuru? Wonder why he's calling me... hello?"

A voice could be heard from the other side as Kal blinked afterwards.

"Yeah, I'm in the general area... I see, sure. I'll be there."

That was when loud shouting was heard.

"What's with the shouting? Don't worry about it? Okay..."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A male around the age of seventeen was seen sighing as he then ended the call on his phone as he then glared towards a certain female in the group, the female having red hair as she also glared back towards the male in disgust and also disbelief.

"You just had to shout, didn't you?!"

"Sorry for being surprised that you actually have a friend!"

"Shut up! I swear if he thinks I'm crazy now because of you...!"

"He wouldn't be wrong if he did!"

While these two were arguing, two other females were just watching them with sighs as another rather energetic girl was seemingly darting around the place trying to spot something or someone. The girl's actions disturbing a few of the surrounding people.

"I wonder where Sayaka is!" The pigtailed girl wondered as she continued to look around the place like a vulture looking for its next victim. It was very much uncomfortable for the people passing by as her actions were a bit annoying to them.
