29 Trials of Dungeons: First Dungeon part 2

I felt my heart raced as a blanket of darkness enveloped my whole field of vision.

Oh come on! How am I supposed to fight, if I can't see what I'm fighting.

I stared straight ahead as I tried to not lose mind, the darkness was so thick that even if I extended my hand forward, my hand would've been gone if something was lurking on the other side.

Hang on... I remembered that master's eyes has enhanced vision, doesn't that mean...

As soon as I used master's eyes, big glowing orbs started to blink into existence. It was as if I was standing in the middle of space and the glowing orbs floated around me. The shape of the orbs didn't last long as the orbs started to morph.

Once the orbs had finished morphing, what I saw that had replaced the orbs were beings that at first looked like dementors but the beings had armour on so they looked more like nocturne from league. They had decorative armour and their hands were shaped like blades. The helmet where the eyes holes were, emitted a glowing smoky haze.

I turned off master's eyes for a moment just to see if what I was thinking was correct and as soon as I did, I felt my heart stopped for a second. All around me in the darkness was floating red smoky haze like eyes. That's all I could see, the helmet and armour they wore when I saw them from master's eyes was not there. I needed to turn master's eyes back on or otherwise I'm going to start having nightmares.

I remembered when I was a kid I would always check every part of my room before going into my bed and would often fall asleep with the lights on before my mum would come and turned them off.

I turned master's eyes back on and the beings in their armour appeared around me once again. The beings hovered above me dormant.

[First Wave: Defeat 15 Knightmares (0/15)]

15? I looked all around as all the beings gazes were trained on me. Above their heads, appearing out of nowhere were the beings' name, Knightmares and beside their name was their level, level 5.

I sighed a little with relief as they were only half my level. That being said, I couldn't let my guard down as there are 15 of them and only one of me.

Like as if they were all linked, the beings raised their left bladed hand and pointed it at me. My eyes widened at the display and before I knew it, 15 bladed hands came towards me. All 15 Knightmares lunged forward with their bladed hands pulled back, ready to strike.

My perception 50 went into overdrive as I detected all their incoming attacks and I proceeded to try and dodge them all. The first Knightmare swung at my head but I narrowly dodged that when a second Knightmare goes in for it's turn to strike my head. One after another, I narrowly dodged each one but the attacks never stopped. If I made one small error in judgement or took a misstep then my head would be on the floor rolling.

I couldn't just keep dodging them, sooner or later something from me would give and I would suspect my stamina would be the first to go. With a split second decision, on my next dodge effort, instead of moving backwards, I lunged forward. I used the same move I used against Marlos but this time I didn't allow the bladed hand to pierce me. But instead I grabbed the spine of the blade or so I thought. My fingers went right through the blade and touched my palm.

The Knightmare turned it's head towards me and it was then that I saw what lurked behind the helmet. If you had ever looked inside yourself and saw all the darkness lurked within then that was what I saw. There was no face in the helmet but pure darkness. I felt my breath stop in the middle of my throat as my whole body tingled.

It's red hazy eyes was all I saw in my mind as I felt darkness enveloped me. I felt the darkness raised me off the ground and tried to suffocate me.

Before the darkness could suffocate me, I felt two words dribbled out of my mouth.

"Summon Baihu!"

As soon as those two words left my mouth, 7 spots of light appeared in front of me but I could move them like a positioning tool. I played Protoss too much to know this was like 'warp gate'. I placed the 7 lights a couple feet away from me and started the summoning process and in an blink of an eye, 7 figures appeared.

[Summon/Recall is now on cool down. (5:00)]

A loud scream pierced the darkness.

"Ah!! Who turned off the lights?!"

I could barely see Lavira through my half lidded eyes as she covered herself with her hands but then she felt herself and got even more confused.

"Sis?"

"Brother?! Why are you in my bathroom and why is the lights off?"

"Calm down, Sis, I don't think we're in your bathroom... Isn't that right captain?"

"Yes, Gunther. Now where are we? And how did we get here? Jemina, give us some light."

"Yes, Captain."

Jemina waved her hand and in a flash a bright light consumed the darkness and revealed the exposed area before them.

The six former king's guards looked around and spotted Lavira covering her clothed private parts with her hands.

"Hey, Sis, you can stop covering yourself... you have clothes on."

Lavira looked down and saw that she indeed had clothes on and dropped her hands.

"I was taking a nice bath before going to bed and then the next thing I knew, I'm here, fully clothed? How?"

"Yeah... I was in my room, counting sheep before my next shift." Piped in Harlo.

"Counting sheep?" Asked Jemina with an eyebrow raised.

"You don't get it, Jemi?" Questioned Bron.

"He couldn't sleep so he counted sheep." Explained Jask.

"Quiet, guys." Tavish shushed his team as he looked around and then looked up. He spotted me up in the air and his eyes widened.

The others after seeing his expression also looked and their expression also changed to shock.

"Boss!" Shouted Tavish.

"Big boss!" Followed shouted Gunther.

I felt the last drops of air being squeezed out of me as the Knightmare's face was so close to mine. Around me was the other 14 Knightmares circling around us.

"Ryan!" Screamed Lavira. "What do we do?"

"Keep calm," soothed Tavish, "we need to find a way to save him, any ideas?"

"What are those creatures?" Asked Jemina with fear in her voice.

"Wraiths, ghosts, spirits, grim reapers?" Listed off Jask.

My vision moved up as my eyeballs rolled upwards.

"Jask! Fire your lightning bolt at those things!" Commanded Tavish.

Jask closed his mouth instantly. He pulled his right arm back and straightened his left arm in front of him and aimed his left arm towards the creature in front of me. Bright sparks zipped around his right hand, as if his right hand was conductive. A bright glowing wavering light shaped like an lightning bolt was now in his right hand and he tossed it straight at the Knightmare.

The bolt zipped through the air with a loud crack and hits the Knightmare in the back. Electricity zapped around the Knightmare and he dropped me as I fell down 50 feet towards the ground.

"Bron!" I heard Tavish shouted and within seconds, I felt myself fall slower and slower, until my back softly touched the ground. At that moment I instinctively gasped a lung full of air and choked. I felt myself heave as my whole upper half went into a fit. I felt arms wrapped around me as soft words entered my mind.

"Calm down and take deep slow breaths."

I did what I was told and took deep slow breaths which calmed me a bit. I looked up and saw Gunther's face and he was bright red, he must've used all his strength to restrain me.

"Guys... those things are circling around us, up there and they looked pissed off." Bron waved his hand around, pointing at those things.

"Lavira, you take over for Gunther in looking after boss. We will handle them."

The 6 members of Baihu got into a defensive formation as they all looked up at the Knightmares moving around up there.

As if I could hear nocturne's voice saying 'darkness' whenever he uses his ultimate, the whole space that shone with light was now being consumed right back into darkness.

I watched from the sidelines with Lavira attending me as Baihu clashed with the Knightmares.

I had to thank my lucky stars, when I remembered a new skill that was added to my ultimate, when I reached level 10. I didn't get a chance to read the info before I entered this trial but I knew what the skill did simply by it's name. Just to confirm that, the information on the skill appeared in front of me.
