4 The Classic Return

Before Xiao Hui can get any answers from the immortal being AKA 'the grumpy old man with baby skin', she was again pulled in by an extreme force and then pushed out. It all happened so fast that she didn't even find the time for that iconic scream. She felt like she was falling down from a building that has neverending floors and she'll never reach the ground. But thankfully, it all ended in a second that felt like half a lifetime and she finally found herself still.

When Xiao Hui opened her eyes again, she was lying on a very comfy European style bed and she suddenly sat up releasing the hold up breath and screamed as loudly as she can. While screaming, her mind came back to senses and she hurriedly kept both of her hands on her mouth to keep herself from screaming any further.

The wheels in her mind began turning at a rapid speed and she calmly observed her surrounding to understand her situation.

'This is my room in my parent's house. So, all of that really happened or did I just had a dream? And what exactly happened to Xuan Juan Yu?'

"Did you turn silly just by this much?", came the voice from her left. She jumped out of her bed and looked horrifyingly at the divine person who she just thought was a figment of her imagination.

When she saw the person playing with his rings and sitting on her bed like it's his own bed, she understood that 'ALL THAT REALLY HAPPENED'. The miracle really happened and she really came back in time.

"I see that you really turned silly, didn't you? Why else would you waste so much time figuring out and be late for the wedding?", said the devilishly handsome face with an evil smirk on his face.

"Wedding?", Xiao Hui blurted out. "Who's wedding?", she asked with a clear doubt in her eyes and mind. 'What time is it now to attend a wedding? Such a huge thing happened and who in the right mind will think to go to whosoever's wedding? And he thinks I turned silly, huh.', thought Xiao Hui grudgingly.

But the answer she was waiting for never came and the self proclaimed immortal just looked at her as if looking at his most failed creation. She felt extremely offended when she saw the self blame on that handsome face and turned around angrily, not wanting to pay anymore attention to him and get more insulted.

As soon as Xiao Hui turned around, she saw her reflection in the mirror infront and suddenly had an inkling to what was happening. She turned to her bedside table and looked at the calendar and there it was-the day which changed her entire past life- June 23rd, 2015. She returned to her wedding day 5 years ago. Although many things has already happened, it's not to the point that can't be salvaged.

Her eyes turned misty remembering her past self and she slowly turned to the man who is busy enjoying her situation. She went around the bed towards him and knelt down infront of him, giving him the shock of a lifetime. He hurriedly stood up on the bed, "What are you doing? I am not going to give you any more favor even if you kneel down to me. Quickly get up.", clearly said the immortal as if afraid of being tricked.

However, she didn't move an inch and silently kowtowed to him three times and started sobbing. She was overwhelmed by the heaven's favor. It may not be for her and entirely for Xuan Juan Yu but it didn't matter. What matters the most is to right all her wrongs of the past life and live a blissful life with her Juan Yu.

The immortal for once let go of his sarcasm and understood her emotional outburst. Just as he was about to say something, his eyes suddenly looked towards the door for a few moments before signaling Xiao Hui to keep quiet. However, Xiao Hui didn't pay him any attention and kept on sobbing for all that Juan Yu had to suffer for her. Remembering the cruelty he had to go through for her, she just couldn't keep her calm. Even if she's back, even if there is time, even if he's unharmed, however her mind is already filled with what ifs.

'What if I can't change anything?'

'What if Juan Yu hates me now?'

'What if it is too late?'

'What if I bring him more harm than good?'

While she's finding the courage to go ahead and claim her Juan Yu for a lifetime, she suddenly heard the door opening. When she turned around, she found that the immortal was already gone and infront of her stands the person she most wanted to see however was most afraid to see-Juan Yu.
