13 Li Jie & Li Wang

Xiao Hui's mind went blank and she looked at the immortal being in disbelief. Everything is so messed up. The rebirth alone is a big deal for a person to handle. But now, what is this immortal saying? Although she understood every word that came out of his mouth, somehow her mind couldn't keep up with his pace.

The immortal snapped his fingers infront of Xiao Hui to get her attention. Although he understands that this is all too much for her to take in, but there is no time to think about it at this moment.

"I can't undo my brother's spell so you are stuck with it for the time being. I will try to find something that can remove the spell. But till then, make sure you don't break Juan Yu's heart even a single time. No betrayal or deception of any kind. Do you understand what I am trying to say?", asked the immortal worriedly.

Xiao Hui nods her head, "Its still a blessing in disguise. Atleast I can understand Juan Yu better this time and return all his love.

It's alright, I will do my best.", she tries to calm herself down. When she lifts her head, nobody was there and the door opened, "YA Xiao Hui, I am coming in", Li Jie's voice came in before he entered her room.

"So you are still here, I thought you will run for your life again once you wake up." Li Jie said sarcastically.

"Why would I want to run away from Juan Yu. He's my husband.", replied Xiao Hui not paying any attention to his mockery.

"What a joke! You called Da Ge your husband? You don't deserve it."

Xiao Hui stopped him in between and said, "I know I don't deserve him, but he's my husband anyways. Deal with it."

Li Jie was taken aback by her answer as she never considered his Da Ge as anything and now she's marking her territory?

Li Jie feels that something is different about Xiao Hui and went ahead to give her a full check-up seriously.

He may not like Xiao Hui for his Da Ge but she's his Da Ge only beloved person and he will never risk her health.

'Did she get a concussion from the fall? Although she's looking fine, but her face is devoid of any color. She was fine when I last checked.

But something is definitely wrong with her and i can't figure out, what? Should I bring her to the hospital? Or should I bring hospital here?', thought Li Jie scratching his head.

Xiao Hui cooperated with his check-up as he might like to pass some sarcastic comments here and there but he's the best doctor of the country and ranked 3rd in the list of best doctors in the world. So that says a lot about his skills.

Xiao Hui calmly looked at him scratching his head and asked, "Is there something wrong?"

"Lets go to the hospital for a detailed scan." He replied automatically.

"No need, I am fine."

"I am not asking you. I am TELLING YOU. I will call Da Ge.", Li Jie took out his cellphone to make a call but Xiao Hui snatched his phone out of his hand. "I already told you, no need. Its my body and I am feeling fine. I will just change and get ready for the ceremony." Xiao Hui said standing up and moving on to the gown rack.

Li Jie grabbed her hand "And I am a Doctor. I feel there's something I'm missing and I need to check."

"Li Jie, can't you see what day is today? I have to get ready and I promise I am feeling alright, you don't have to worry. "

"Who's worried about you? I am worried about Da Ge and if something happened to you, won't I be killed because of the stupid You?", Li Jie fought back making a stupid but adorable face at her.

Xuan Juan Yu left Xiao Hui's room in a great mood. Li Wang came out of nowhere and followed. "What put you in such a good mood?"

Juan Yu didn't respond as usual. Li Wang also didn't expect him to answer. Its a no brainer that only Xiao Hui can put him in a good or bad mood.

What he really wanted to know was, why Juan Yu is feeling happy when Xiao Hui tried to run away?

He will never be able to understand Xuan Juan Yu's obsession with Xiao Hui. She never bat an eye on him and yet he is willing to sacrifice everything for her.

His thoughts were interrupted when Juan Yu said, "Keep a close eye on Bo Jing and especially on his minions from Black Bull."

"Ok", Li Wang noted down few instructions on his IPad.

"Ah, I almost forgot, you've a meeting in 10 minutes. Want me to setup video conferencing in your room?"

"No need, postpone it for 2 hours. Let's head back to the office after the ceremony ends."

Li Wang stopped in his tracks and stared at Juan Yu's back. He noticed that Juan Yu's shoulder are not as stiff as always and felt a little more relaxed for the first time. His back that always gave a sense of security, finally has some warmth and is looking more human and not just the Greatest Xuan Juan Yu.

He asked no more and postponed the meeting as asked by his boss.

Li Jie and Li Wang are two sides of a coin. They are twins however they can't be more different. Li Wang being the older by 5 minutes, is poised and mature.

On the other hand, Li Jie is highly intelligent but has a childish and immature personality. But what they have in common was their respect, care and protectiveness for their Da Ge Xuan Juan Yu.
