46 Uncle or Grandpa

Yue Wan was laid in bed and slept without any nightmare. It may be due to the medicine effect that she looked peacefully in her sleep. Seeing his daughter's fragile, free from disturbance expression, he remembered his Wife's final word, 'Live for our Child.'

Yue Yeager held her hand and caressed it compassionately and prayed, "Little Wan, please don't scare my poor soul?" On receiving the Uncle Wang's call, he recalled the drug incident were Yue Xiang warned him that, 'if it happens in a blind spot....'

Yue Yeager lifted her hand over his head as two droplets of tears spilled down his cheek. Right, he was afraid of losing the only hope of his life. Little Bao was resting his head near Yue Wan's left and nuzzled her fingers affectionately, 'Mommy, Wake up. Little Bao will be good, Don't abandon Little Bao.'

Yue Xiang smoothed his father's shoulder to relax him, and then in a husky voice, he whispered, "Dad, let her have a rest. We can inquire about this tomorrow." Yue Xiang understood his dad's fear because, on the grounds, the drug's origin was unable to trace out, so they can't point out the foe! 

But a thought bulged in Yue Xiang, like a tumor in his mind, 'is it related to Fu?'  Yet he can't confirm his uncertainty due to lack of resources.

Yue Yeager tugged his daughter in the bed, and expressed his interest in a brittle voice, "Xiang, can I look after Little Wan tonight, she might fell thirsty at the middle of the night."

Yue Xiang's face twitched in annoyance on hearing his Father's usual unconvincing excuses. Yue Xiang sensed that Little Wan, won't wake up till tomorrow noon, yet at the same time, his Father playing this stunt. 

Yue Xiang gave him a hard stare with his cold eye and destroyed his fantasy with a dispute, "You can't stay here, so stop mopping around the floor dad," 

Yue Yeager, similar to a drenched little dog, sulked in the corner and reviled Yue Xiang to be single until the end of the world.

Yue Xiang became acclimated to his Father's immature conduct, so he didn't mind it. And so after sorting out his Father, he tenderly touched Little Wan's fringe with a throbbing pain in his heart. Then without warning, he grabbed the collar of the Litte Bao, who was lying on Yue Wan's left side and showed him out alongside Yue Yeager without mercy. 

Because these two fellows won't sit tight with their butt inside the room, so they needed some smacking eventually. Little Bao's face full of protest as he whined in a dinky voice to let him remain with his mother, but Yue Xiang firmly held him in his hold, and cautioned him, "Do you want to sleep with my Father or Me?" in a warning tone.

Being threatened by the night terror, Little Bao poked his head from Yue Xiang's shoulder to take a glimpse at Yue Yeager. Whereas Yue Yeager whopped at the floor with fake tears in his eyes, was failed to hear his son's comment, as he was busy in waling out his grief. 

On remembering the cosplay party held by Yue Yeager without Yue Wan knowledge made Little Bao shudder in fear. So in order to avoid being disgraced anymore, Little Boa surrendered his dissent and laid in Yue Xiang's embrace without a choice. Soon they returned back to their respective rooms and let the servant guard Yue Wan at night.

---Next day at Yue---

Yue Wan slept the whole day till evening without any interruption, she opened her beautiful pearl eye and gazed at the ceiling with no emotion. Her pupil palpitated on reminiscing her last night's conversation with Mr. Yu Xain.

'If a person took a loan in the name of Yue company's shares, and Master Yue transferred it under his name. Then It may stir some trouble.'

Yue Wan collapsed in the bed with her head curved down, and her legs close to the chest, then she clasped the sheet on both sides with a droning pain in her heart. From her rebirth and till now she regarded that her Father being jailed and killed was because of someone's scheming, yet she never thought it was all because of her foolish steps.

To defeat Yue Xiang, she gambled a ton to get different shares from Black Market with no appropriate identification. Around then, she had a selfish desire to conquer above Yue Xiang, but she never felt that it would prompt to her Father's death. Yue Wan wants to cry out loud and ask forgiveness from her Father(before rebirth) for being such a self-obsessed person, 'I am sorry, daddy. I have let you down.'
