43 The Lunch Is On You

First Elder's jaws tighten, as being provoked by Master Li, he was indeed after General Yue, Yue Zhao's power, yet he doesn't need anybody's assistance for it since at some point or another he will lead the Miltary. Master Li, in a croaky voice, expressed, "I will cook the rice to verify it." His objective was to get them hitched, so he was ready to drug his son for his benefit. And as for after-math, he will put the blame on Wei, made it look like jealousy act, 'Hehe Hehe, I can kill two birds with one stone,' he had a venomous sneer inside his heart.

The First Elder sends off Master Li after their talk and then with ambiguous though, in his mind, he ridiculed, "He is very shrewd compared to his father."

A muffled voice heard behind him, "I don't think he would succeed."

The First Elder, with a malicious scowl on his face, he muttered, "Only time can tell." Then he scrutinized at the unknow person, "Check out, who leaked the information."

The person precedent before him said, "Got it, Grandpa."

As usual, the class went on without any dispute, but the blitheness was short-lived, as Wei Wan stood before Yue Wan's table by thudding her leg impatiently, and slowly fluttered her long copper shimmer hair. Yue Wan sensed that, over the span of time, she needs to face-off Wei Wan, and she was well prepared for it, "What is it?"

Wei Wan face paled in stupefaction, as the tear bulged in her eyes, "Yue Wan, why you didn't call me these days? or you still mad at for that," She held the hem of her dress and agonized, "Please forgive me, Yue Wan, I did it out of your concern, but if you enlightened me concerning the blood test in advance I would have -----"

"Add some more oil to the fire," Chen Ai continued her word by interrupting Wei Wan's talk in the middle.

Wei Wan's face irked in inconvenience as her voice uttered in exasperation, "Don't you know the word courtesy," she used English to say the word, courtesy.

Chen Ai made a pondering action by X crossing her leg, and after a second, she snapped her finger, " Is that a new patisserie? is it tasty?"

Wei Wan had a dumbfounded face response, 'What the hell is she talking about?'

Yue Wan chucked at her best friend's brain work, "Little Spring, I can't mark your brilliance. You're on another level."

Chen Ai's eyes gazed at her innocently at first, then she pursed her lips in anger, "Stop being sarcastic!"

Yue Wan patted the head warmly to smooth her little piglet, and then she stared at Wei Wan with bewilderment, "I need some time to gather my thought, so it better for us to on a break."

Wei Wan wants to rebuff her by slapping hard on her fair cheek, but she controlled her feelings, and communicated, "But Yue Wan, please don't misconstrue Young Master Li's statement, he was anxious about the news, so that he talked that way. These days he was attempting to get in touch with you, yet Master Xiang confined him, not to reach you."

Yue Wan speculated that Wei Wan is trying her to check her enmity toward Yue Xiang was still there or not, "Only my family can control me." She created an impression with no emotions to swindle Wei Wan.

In Wei Wan's perspective, Yue Wan's statement implies that solitary her dad can control her, while the ill-blood Yue Xiang never had the authority to do so.

With a satisfied expression, Wei Wan placed a gift before Yue Wan and boasted, "This was prepared by Young Master Li, just for you. Yue Wan's eye enlarges in stun as she grasped the gift box in her hand. On observing her plan processed well, Wei Wan excused herself out and left the class.

While Chen Ai poked Little Wan's elbow in doubt, "You are planning to sell it, am I right?"

Yue Wan's lip curved up with ridiculousness and marveled, "Not bad Little Spring," being praised like that made Chen Ai straighten her body like a genius, but on hearing the next term from Yue Wan, "The lunch is on you Little Spring, I will call Tai Shu to join us."

Chen Ai solidified to stone and disintegrated into remains, "My pocket money..."

After her experiment with Yue Wan, Wei Wan found an isolated place to call Li Rong. After two-ring, Li Rong picked the call and probed in a hurry, "How did it go?"

Also, whenever he asks about Yue Wan, she plays her lower status trump card.

Li Rong remembered the punishment Wei Wan received due to Yue Wan's action, with a bitterness in his lips, he promised, "Don't worry WanWan, I will teach that bit**h a lesson."
