8 School Rumor(Edited)

Fan Daiyu was brimming with jealousy that threatened to explode at any moment. She was on the verge of screaming after seeing all the attention that Yue Wan was receiving, but her scream was trampled down by a voice coming from the front of the classroom.

"What's happening here?"

That voice belonged to a young lady with a fresh face and dimples on her cheeks. She had long straight shimmering copper hair and she wore a light cherry patterned floral designed peplum style dress. The peplum dresses had a frilled ruffle attached at the waist over a narrow skirt that extends till the knees, the dress fit perfectly on her hourglass-shaped body.

Fan Daiyu felt delighted when she saw her best friend, so she ran towards her, her heart filled with complaints.

"Wan Wan, why are you so late? That Bi**h is weird today. Does she have a screw loose somewhere?"

Wei Wan was not in a good mood today. Because she had failed to drug Yue Wan at her 16th birthday party yesterday, Wei Wan was beaten a lot by her father. Yue Wan's sudden fainting spell made them lose their principal target. Even Li Rong was mad at her and refusing to answer her calls.

Not only that, but that idiotic Yue Wan was not replying to her messages this morning either. Now she needed to figure out what had happened after she left the party the night before.

Looking at Fan Daiyu, she touched her head in pain. "Daiyu, what are you saying? Who is acting weird?"

Fan Daiyu sneered and with her poisonous tongue quickly replied in a venomous manner. "Who else! It's the Yue bit**h. She is just a w***e and here they all treating her as a fashion queen. She is total b***h with a fake plastic face, fake plastic body, and fake plastic looks. How can she be considered a beauty of any kind?!?"

"YUE WAN is here," Wei Wan jerked out of her daze, her eyes wide in surprise.

Fan Daiyu gestured to the corner of the classroom with her eyes. "Look over there," she said

Wei Wan was shocked to see Yue Wan in school as if nothing had happened. 'Why is that Bi**h able to make it to school today?' Wei Wan racked her brain trying to figure out what she had missed.

She made an annoyed face as she clenched her fingers together in sheer frustration. 'She shouldn't be able to be here today. Something is not right.'

The Yue Wan she knew would regularly inform her every time she arrived at school. In all the years that they have known each other, not once did Yue Wan go to school without telling Wei Wan. 'Did she figure something out?'

Wei Wan's heart dropped suddenly. 'No. No. It's not possible for her to know what is going on. She is too stupid to figure things out after all these years, it must be that Yue Xiang said something to her.'

Grinding her teeth, she hissed. 'That bast*rd is giving me a lot of trouble these days. I need to speak to Yue Wan about that.'

Wei Wan elegantly walked towards Yue Wan with a kind, gentle smile on her lips. While Wei Wan was still preoccupied with her classmate's questions, she still had her eyes on Wei Wan as she entered the class. From the beginning, until now, Yue Wan secretly observed Wei Wan's attitude, expression, and how she was dressed.

Yue Wan finally understood just how so many things went wrong in her past life when it came to her so-called best friend. 'You really do deserve an award, Wei Wan. You are so good at hiding yourself I wonder if you even know the real you anymore. No wonder my brother couldn't find any evidence against you or the Wei family. All of you are nothing more than snakes, hiding in your hole.'

As she approached the desk that Yue Wan was sitting at, Wei Wan gave a gentle reprimand in her soft voice. "Yue Wan, why didn't you reply to my messages. I was getting worried that something might have happened to you."

Wei Wan, who was disgruntled, gave a little pout and continued her one-man show. "I was so shocked when you suddenly fainted last night. You should still be resting instead of coming to school now. Are you sure you're okay?"

Wei Wan cleverly adjusted her tone from a spoiled manner to a worried one.

All the students near Yue Wei became quiet as they looked at the two girls in confusion. None of them could understand what the two of them were talking about. "What is WanWan talking about?"

"Is she talking about that rumor?"

"What rumor are you talking about?" One of the girls asked in a hushed tone. Hearing her question, Fan Daiyu smirked, leaned down and whispered something into the girl's ear.

"Did she ...oh my god !" The girl had an unbelievable expression on her face as she turned around and whispered to another girl beside her.

The girl with the curly hair did not know what the others were talking about and so demanded in a loud voice: "Yue Wan, are you alright? What's with Fan Daiyu and Wei Wan?" She then turned to look at those girls with a confused expression on her face, "What rumors are you talking about?"

Yue Wan knew about the rumor that they were whispering about and she knew who exactly who was behind it. But still, she kept her silence and neither denied it nor accept it, simply waiting for the culprit to show her next hand.

Wei Wan hadn't expected this reaction from Yue Wan. Normally at the slightest hint of disrespect, she would be lashing out at others in violence and rage. However, seeing her keeping silent made things more complicated for Wei Wan. 'It seems like I need to move my next pawn.'

Wei Wan held her hand down and looked at them in frustration. In an attempt to make it like she doesn't know what they were talking about, she demanded: "Stop talking nonsense. You guys all are making it all up to make Yue Wan look bad. Yue Wan simply was dizzy due to heat and fainted."

As expected of human psychology, the more you deny a rumor, the more the peoples' suspicion grows.

Fan Daiyu had very poor self-knowledge so without thinking twice, she voiced out in rage: "WanWan, stop helping that bitch out every time she does something wrong. You don't have to keep sucking up to earn her favor."

All other girls were eager to know about the scandal, but they knew that in WAX, spreading a rumor was equal to getting blacklisted from the school. In order to not get in trouble, they kept their thoughts to themselves, however, some people don't have a brain to think with, like Fan Daiyu.

"Yue Wan....." Fan Daiyu started to criticize Yue Wan. However, she got cut off as the teacher walked into the room.

"Why are you all gathered around Yue Wan today? It's time to start with today's lessons so go sit in your seats." The class teacher's deep voice made them all scatter back to their seats quickly.

Their homeroom teacher, Mr. An, walked over to the front of the classroom and dropped his books down on his desk making a large 'bang'. He was around 29 years old, but his black dishevel hair and large rimmed silver glasses made it so no one thought anything inappropriate when it came to him. However, if anyone was willing to take a closer look they would see beautiful light purple eyes that seemed to suck in your soul if you looked too long. The problem was, no one wanted to catch his attention as he was extremely strict on all of the students and never played favourites. No one was willing to disobey his commands or fall asleep during his class as he could turn into a devil without warning.

Mr. An scolded them in a strict tone: "Don't you all know the rules of our school? You guys came here to study not too lazed around." Not waiting for the students to reply, he continued with his announcements. "Today I have two important things to announce..."
