50 Lu's Confrontation In Jail

Following the humiliation at Yue's Gathering, Lu Meili lost the general support from Yue Yeager. As for her Aunt Lu Jia, she had hidden the asset cleverly somewhere before her imprisonment. Lu Meili tried to compromise with the maids to get a lead, but as a fat chance, she was empty-handed.
Although there was no income, Lu Meili lived her days lavishly, but the situation won't last long. What's more, she didn't want to live in a life full of poverty because she suffered a lot during her childhood days. Even now, her savings were insufficient for her to live in the future. While contemplating over her circumstance, Lu Meili envied Yue Wan's prosperousness fate of having Generations of fortunes.
Lu Jia caged Lu Meili as a chess piece against Yue, so she danced similar to a puppet with strings attached that shouldn't have any selfish desires. Therefore she detested her Aunt to the core of the earth. And consequently, she evaded reaching or contacting her Aunt in Jail. To the point where she disregarded Lu Jia's existence, until two days ago, some police charged into her home with a Search Warrant in their grasp, "Please, co-operate with our investigation."
After searching for three consecutive hours, they didn't discover anything, and even Chief Shen came in-person to do the pursuit. During their obligation, an official close to Chief Shen claimed, "There is no indication of that cash."
Lu Meili's eyes lighted up after hearing the word cash, so she cautiously listened to their discussion, 'How much did that Old bit**h had in her pocket?' She split in her heart, thinking about the crafty mind of the Foxy-Witch.
And here, Lu Meili's eyes were widened in surprise on hearing the amount from the officers, though she knew how cunning that Old-Witch was, yet at the same time she never would've imagined that bit**h had a wealth of 50 Million, 'Shi**t, Now I have to bootlick her again.'

After the little episode, Lu Meili devised a plan to visit her Aunt in Jail. Since she was her Aunt's most intimate relative, it didn't take much time for her to get the visitor pass. She waited for her Aunt in the booth, with a telephone next to her. Before her Aunt arrives, Lu Meili carefully organized her statements to speak because this was her only chance to close to 50 Million. She even draped in shabby cloth, and seemed to have, dark circles under her eyes, also her skin appeared to be tanned.
'Click...Click,' the sound of metal hitting another metal was heard.
The other side door was open where Lu Jia emerged from it with guards on her side. Before giving her access, the guards removed her handcuff and reminded her disinterest voice, "Only 10 minutes, use it wisely."
Lu Jia gestured her head and strolled to a plastic seat set before the glass. Because of the crucifixion news, she had insomnia these days, so her face was full of wrinkles. Lu Jia realized that it was a warning, and the reason she is alive till now was her link with the Elders.
Also, Lu Jia understood her niece's character like an open book, yet looking at the unforeseen visit, she detected that Lu Meili was after to something, so she grabbed the receiver and with a caustic tone as she sneered at Lu Meili, "Don't pretend to be concern over me, just tell me why are you here?"
Lu Meili was used to her Aunt's sharp-tongue so with a droning voice, "Please don't be mad at me for not visiting you early, Aunt Lu. These days I was struggling to manage the living expenses."
Lu Jia gave her a dirty look, "Get to the point," she groaned in annoyance.
Lu Meili bit her lips in anguish and stammered a little in her feeble voice, "The--The po..police came to our home with a wa..warrent," she clasped the phone receiver with too much strength.
"They wasted a quite enough of the time," she sounded carefree like she predicted this, and then she gazed at Lu Meili with disdain, "I am still your Aunt, so stop your derivative act, Meili." Lu Jia left ahead of the visitor's time while scowled at her foolish niece for falling in a snare.
That's right, Chief Shen intentionally confessed 50 Million before Lu Meili, with the goal that she will insist Lu Jia about it, and now the entire unit was viewing the Lu's confrontation via CCTV.
Cheif Shen darned inside and moved to a separated spot to call somebody, "The plan failed. Initiate Plan B."

Yue Xiang cut out the call, as he gazed at the person before him with a roguish expression, "She is all yours, Hua."
Xiao Hua, with a majestic voice and fiendish grin hanging in his lip, "Let's find out, Who was after My Little Wild Cub?" Xian Hua was cruel and violent while killing his enemies, and now, he can hardly wait to peel her skin alive.
