69 Hope They Cherish Each Other

Just as Yue Wan placed the small stuff before them, everyone's pupil enlarges in agitation, and then she revealed: "I got this from Tian Li, during the fight."

----Flash-back----

"----I am easy to bully." While mithering this, Yue Wan prudently secured the Knife from her grip and slid into her pocket without Tian Li's awareness.

----End---

Yue Xiang checked the Lion-crest mark on the top of the knife's handler, he never imagined of seeing it after 4-years: "It belongs to grandpa! So, How could it be here?"

Yue Yeager had flashes of vision about his Father handling it during several occasion, with moist eyes, he acquiesced: "Yes, It is my Father's favorite knife, but I should be in the buried in the tomb along with others."

Xiao Ran took the Knife from Yue Xiang grasp and touched the sharp-edge: "Blade is too sharp, which means it was sharpened recently also they made some modification in it expect the handle. That's weird!"

Yue Wan used her left hand to comfort her Dad by smoothing his shoulder and stated: "Daddy, don't be too hard on yourself."

Xiao Ran, with a perplexed facial expression, she cited: "What the plan of using General Yue's knife?"

Yue Wan squeezed her Father's hand and explained in an exceptionally soft tone: "Point-One, The way How Tian Li handled the pocket-knife today, confirmed that she didn't undergo any customary training. However, she received it quite recently, and also, the person who did it could be a Lover or Sibling, as she repeatedly stated, 'he!'. So the assault might be due to her insecurities."

Yue Wan stared the blade with a sense of ambivalence: "Two, The attack was aimed at me, but the actual target is someone else."

Xiao Ran raised her eyebrows in befuddlement and queried: "What do you mean?"

Yue Wan reclaimed the blade as she lifted in the air, and in an utterance, she pointed out: "On the off-chance, I got killed or suffered a critical injury, the police would arrest Tian Li as the suspect. And she would shift the blame to the one who gifted the knife."

Yue Wan grabbed it close to her heart and gazed at Yue Xiang: "Soon they will cross-examine its origin, and automatically the blame would fall upon my Big Brother. They plotted to Kill two birds with one stone."

Xiao Ran's heart pattered in horror as she brayed: "What!" She unconsciously held Yue Xiang's wrist in fright and clutched it with fear of not comprehending what to do.

Gritting his teeth, Yue Yeager lowered his eyebrow as he divulged: "One person has the right to enter or exit the Tomb, and it applies to--" With tightness in his voice, he uttered: "Xiang."

Yue Xiang's lips curved into a sneer as he ridiculed: "It's only a hypothesis, and nothing occurred to our Little Wan. So everything is protected at this point."

Xiao Ran pursed her lips down and strengthened her hold on Yue Xiang. She can imagine the possibility of future out-come: "Tian Li is just an extra piece for striking Xiang." She gasped.

Yue Wan presented it into her Father's possession while she emphasized: "It's a waste of time to investigate Miltary's Tomb as the one inside it might be fake. That person could have stolen it before Grandpa's death."

Yue Xiang was bemused by what happened, the Yue Wan he knew would never know the existence of this knife in Grandpa's tomb: 'How can she identify it in a glimpse, she would never do this if she was the past Yue Wan. And she seems to behave so mature than a typical teenager. Who is she? or What is she?'

When the time came close to Yue Wan's sleeping hour, the trio left the ward after giving specific instructions. However, Yue Yeager planned to stay a night at Hospital, but Yue Wan refused it by saying: "You need to go home and take rest. Besides, I will back in tomorrow morning."

After several coaxing, Yue Yeager left the ward, as for Yue Xiang, before leaving, he interrogated: "Little Wan, who told you about the dagger?"

Yue Wan anticipated this question, so she gave him a prepared response: "Before I answer this, can you find who Grandpa met prior to his death? I think we missed something important."

Yue Xiang gestured his head, and then he left while dragging Xiao Ran along with him like a gum.

Yue Wan lips bent up into a comforting grin as she shipped these two: "Hope they cherish each other this time."

----outside the Hospital---

Yue Xiang's mind was pre-occupied with today's scheme, so he didn't regard the extra luggage trolling behind him. Considering Xiao Ran, she became absent-minded after leaving the Yue Wan's room. From time to time, her hold on Yue Xiang's wrist getting tighter.

Feeling the pain, Yue Xiang stopped his steps abruptly as Xiao Ran's face crashed on his back: "Ouch, that hurts."

Yue Xiang's lip crooked into a smirk while he faced Xiao Ran with a taunting gaze: "Can't stay away from my body for a second! Do you miss me that much, Xiao Witch."

Xiao Ran scoured her pink bud-nose in torment and narrowed her eye at him: "Stop with the absurd nonsense, You are the one who didn't let go of my hand."

Yue Xiang let out a chuckle as he raised his wrist between them: "Oh, Did I? Then why it looks like this."

Xiao Ran swiftly released his wrist and backed the opposite direction to protect her awkward image: "I need to report back. So You don't need to send me off. Bye." She dashed like a hare running for its life in a hunting arena.

Yue Xiang lifted his wrist to brushed the red-spot nail wound while his eye shimmered in passion: "That idiot! Haven't changed a bit."
