"He.... he is ,.... he." She was stammering and it was a first, because she was a very straightforward, blunt kinda girl even sometimes bordering in the rude side. But for me it's cute because I don't like liars.

"Oh get on with it. What did he do now?" I huffed.

She took a deep breath, "He is my Mate."

My mouth dropped open. I looked at her but couldn't see her. It's like my eyes glazed over. When she saw that I wasn't responding, she grabbed my shoulders and shook me which brought me out of my stupor.

"Fu*kity fu*k. Have you told him about this? He is human and don't understand this mate stuff. What are you going to do?"

"No l didn't tell him anything. But I think he is interested in me I saw him looking at me in a daze. I think I should try dating him first then I'll tell him about all the supernatural stuff." Her face showed the happiness she was feeling for finding her mate and her eyes were showing her anxiety at the end result.

"Did you ask him out?" I questioned.

"Not yet I wanted to him today." She said.

That idiot, she asked him out to be her boyfriend and he invited me to be a third wheel. Stupid. "Don't worry, after lunch I have to go to the library. The witchy kind, It might take me a lot of time there and I have to return home before dark. So you can ask him out and go to movie and have fun."

"Are you sure? Do you think he will accept me?" She asked me nervously. Finding a true mate for a werewolf is blessing, I hope everything turns out okay for her.

"Of course who can reject you. Go ask him out, I want you to come to my birthday party as a couple. My mom would be so surprised." I said with a smile. Her mouth was open so wide I could stick a whole egg in it.

"You do know it wouldn't be easy for anyone to you party this year. This is your coming of age party, girl. Do you know some of the influential supernatural would gather there. Didn't your mom tell you?"

"No she didn't, I thought it would be like always. Me, you, Jake and mom." I said in a very confused state.

"I think you and your mom need to talk more. Let's go outside, ask your mom about clocking your magic and your coming of age party. After that if you want to invite, I will be most honoured to join." I left washroom with her.

After we came back our order has arrived. While we had our coffee I told them, "Hey guys, I have to go somewhere and run an errand for my mom, so I can't come with you guys."

"But when can we meet again, you just arrived and you are leaving again. I feel like we are drifting apart." The idiot Jake whined.

"I don't know when we meet again because my Mom is making me advance study at home since we are still waiting for our acceptance letters. I don't think we will be able to have a day out." I shuddered for the added effects. I just want to stay home and learn and increase my power as much as I can. So I can protect my loved ones.

Jake whined some more but Paige held him back. I said my goodbyes and left to find my much needed library.

I think I made two whole rounds around the city square but didn't find anything it was frustrating. I took out the card my mother gave me and start looking around maybe I missed something. After walking around for a bit I noticed and old, really old Victorian era building which I haven't seen before. And it has library written on it.

Great, an old building. What does an old building has in abundance?
