1 THE BEGINNING.

PEOPLE'S HOSPITAL HOUSTON, US.

MR LIAM held on to his wife as she was giving birth to their daughter and felt pain as he heard his wife cries.

"Promise..... me... Gideon,that if.... I die.....here that...you...will take care....of our baby....and give her a mother".

"Yue don't talk like that,the doctors said just a little push and our baby will be out don't give up now".

Mr Liam said in worry,he was afraid for his wife and didn't want her to die. he told himself that if she survives this birth that they won't have another baby. It was not that he loved yue, they were forced into marriage by there family and he has already respected his fate that he wasn't going to find love after marring her he promised to be faithful to her till death do them part.

"The doctors..... can say what they.... want Gideon but....I know my body".

"We see the head now,I just want you to give us a big push Mrs Liam and you can hold your baby".said the doctor.

"You see Yue now push hard so you can rest when the baby is out".

"You are right.....Gideon after.... this push I can... rest then".

MR LIAM smiled with happiness in his eyes seeing that his wife was no longer talking of dieing, not knowing that the rest she meant was her death.

"Congratulations Liam couple you are now the proud parents of a bouncing baby girl!!!". The doctor told the couple before handing the baby to the mother and asked her husband to cut the cord connecting the baby and mother.

"Gideon,she is my little Xing. I will like for her to be called Xing".she told her husband.

"Yes Yue,there is no problem. I love the name Liam Xing".

"Madam we will take the child and clean after running the test we will return your child to you". a nurse told madam Liam.

"Gideon, please go with our daughter. I do not want her to feel lonely".

"Alright I will go with her,and come back with her in a little while so you can hold her".

"OK,go on I will rest now".

Mr Liam went ahead and kissed his wife's forehead and left the delivery room so his wife can get clean and him to go and see his Beautiful baby. Unknown to him his life was going to take a different turn.

After an hour everything was done so MR LIAM with his baby were then going to see his wife when I doctor stopped him.

"Mr Liam can I see you in my office now?".

"What is the matter doctor?,as you can see am in a hurry to see my wife and hand her baby to her".

"Mr Liam,I think you should hand your baby to the nurse beside you to hear this news".

"What is it doctor you are making me nervous?".

"Am sorry to be the one giving you this news. We tried our best to save her,but at the end we lost her".

Mr Liam was confused what was the doctor talking about.

"Explain Well doctor,for I don't understand you".

Mr Liam your wife passed away fifteen minutes ago. We tried our best but she lost so much blood during childbirth and we didn't realize that the amount of blood in her system was low. it all seems like she was taking a blood reducing drug during her pregnancy"

Mr Liam didn't hear anything the doctor said,his mind went blank when he said that his wife passed away.
