1 Rebirth (I)

The sun shone ever so brightly and the stars twinkled ever so slightly. For the first time in 1,000,000 years, the Heavenly Monarch Hall bustled with a massive crowd of False Gods and True Gods, all who gathered together to witness the fate of the most base God of all, the God of Lust. It was the largest gathering of Gods in the Realm of Gods since the Heavenly Empress ascended the Throne a million years ago.

"What do you think will be the punishment of that bastard?" the God of Thunder asked his pal, the God of Water, for his opinion on the matter. If one looked at the God of Thunder's face at this moment, they would find a twisted expression full of schadenfreude and blood-lust. His reddened eyes made him seem ready to devour the handsome man kneeling in the center of the Hall at any moment.

Beside the God of Thunder stood the God of Water. As soon as he heard his pal's question, he raised an eyebrow and turned his head to have a look at his best friend. Looking at the twisted expression of his pal, the God of Water softly sighed and replied, "Death shall claim him today. I reckon Her Majesty will not let him out of this place alive; it's possible that you might have a chance to get revenge with your own hands, too."

As soon as the God of Water's words fell into the God of Thunder's ears, his lips curved upwards into a faint but brutal smile. Just imagining how he would tear that bastard's limbs one-by-one, rip out his tendons, drink his blood, and devour his flesh made the God of Thunder euphoric. His already twisted expression turned even more hideous, and he looked like a savage beast that hadn't eaten anything in years.

At the same time as the two conversed about the fate of the God of Lust, the other True Gods and False Gods also whispered and made conjectures on what would happen to the criminal today. There were many in the crowd with similar expression, rage, and feelings as the God of Thunder who couldn't wait to go forward and tear apart the kneeling man to shreds. If not for the presence of the six Heavenly Kings surrounding the greatest criminal of all time, the crowd would have long rushed to vent all of their anger and frustration on the abomination, aka "God of Lust."

As the crowd whispered among themselves the fate of the immoral God, the six Heavenly Kings in the center of the Hall suddenly moved. Out of nowhere, similar pitch-black staffs appeared in the hands of each Heavenly King, and they all knocked the lower ends of the staff on the jade floor at the same time, producing a loud clanking sound that made the entire Hall quiet down.

In the next moment, the six Heavenly Kings went on their knees and shouted at the same time in a resounding voice that spread throughout the massive Hall, "These humble slaves welcome the Heavenly Empress, dictator of all fate, and master of all realms! May the Heavenly Empress live for all eternity!"

Immediately, all the True Gods and False Gods in the Heavenly Monarch Hall fell to their knees and shouted the same thing as the six Heavenly Kings, "May the Heavenly Empress live for all eternity!"

As soon as the words filled the majestic Hall, a blinding light shone in the center of the Hall, right above the kneeling man whom thick, sturdy chains bound to the ground. The piercing golden light made all the False Gods and True Gods lose their vision for a moment, and the only ones left who could see the source of the light were the six Heavenly Kings and the bound man who awaited his fate.

Although they could see the source of the light, the six Heavenly Kings dared not raise their heads to look. The terror and might of the Heavenly Empress, and the supreme aura she released was enough to make the six Heavenly Kings, who were second only to the supreme ruler of the Realm of Gods, dare not even look at her lest they provoke her rage.

The only one, in the entire Hall, who dared look straight above after the light appeared was none other than the bound criminal, the God of Lust. Not only did the God of Lust dare to meet eyes with the cold and emotionless eyes of the ever-powerful and almighty Heavenly Empress, but he also made sure to get a good look at the perfect figure of the Heavenly Empress from head to toe.

Smacking his lips together and licking them lasciviously, the God of Lust opened his mouth for the first time ever since he was caught and brought to the Heavenly Monarch Hall, "I wonder how that juicy body of yours would taste like, little girl?"

Immediately, as if all of them were struck by Heavenly Tribulation at the same time, all the False Gods, True Gods, and the Heavenly Kings started shaking in fright. At the same time, they cursed the damned bastard, the God of Lust, in their hearts for his audacity to say such filthy words to the absolute ruler of all Realms.

Did not that bastard know there were some people he just shouldn't mess with? Did not that bastard know how the word "death" was written? Did not that bastard know he was seeking death by just uttering those words? No! Let alone utter, even thinking of such words was a blasphemy and enough reason for him to be put to death in the most horrible of ways!

Who in the Realm of Gods didn't know of the Heavenly Empress's temper? Who in the Realm of Gods didn't know of the Heavenly Empress's ruthlessness? Who in the Realm of Gods hadn't visited the Heaven Shaking Dynasty, the Slaughtered Dynasty, which had been razed to the ground with all life in it massacred? Had this fool not seen the ocean of blood, the castles of bones, the towers of skulls, the ropes made out of tendons, and the ground of flesh, on which grew bloody flowers that could suck a creatures soul and devour their bodies whole?

As all the False Gods, True Gods, and Heavenly Kings awaited the descent of the Heavenly Empress's rage, something completely inconceivable happened. Instead of flying into a rage and slaughtering the God of Lust on the spot, the Heavenly Empress said only a few words that decided the fate of the God of Lust and sent tremors through the heart of everyone present in the Heavenly Monarch Hall, "God Decaying Abyss!"
