Goodbye, Home (1)

After a million years...

Inside a planet named Olkwart...

A lone secluded planet, standing alone amidst the silent space...

It spanned an expanse of a quadrillion miles, filled with countless dynasties and unknown histories...

A newborn baby was slowly formed within a dark abyss full of hideous and powerful mythical beasts...

However, those beasts would not linger to the spot of the baby as they would stay away, unknowingly forming a forbidden area of the place.

The tiny closed eyes of the baby immediately opened to show an ancient sensation older than time itself. What lied within was profoundness anyone should not tackle with, or else they'll die of self-imploding due to over abundant of knowledge.

However, it was only a moment before it was gone. It was hidden in the tenebrous depths of his eyes and there was no longer hint of any resemblance of the ancient feel. It could only appear as if a swamp wanted to swallow you in its deepness or a black hole prisoning you with its eternal puzzle.

It never held the innocence and pureness of a meek newborn baby. It suddenly stood up, with no erratic movements of its body, without needing to adjust and adapt. Even its constitution was of a baby, it stood still like a tall tree, moving with the nature.

It held the appearance of a neonate but within it, lied the awaken soul of a supreme existence, holding the knowledge that could not fit inside a universe.

All the creatures were already shivering in fear by the aura emanated of the baby. It slowly soared upwards to the opening hole atop, which clearly held a barrier.

"A cage for lowly beasts" A voice echoed out, unintelligible by the language of this world. However, those intelligent beasts clearly understood it, for it was willed to let them listen of his meaning. "Rampage out to the world and let them feel your rage of countless years of imprisoning. Go!"

He then shoot forward to the hole, destroying the invisible barrier. As he soared to the shallow space, in a moment, he had come out to the surface of the world.

As he was now in clear blue skies, yet dark for it was dawn, he looked down. It was a towering mountain with a giant hole in the middle. Or it could be seen as a dormant volcano, with a humongous opening but without lava.

'Releasing these insects will only serve me further cause. Strengthen my will before all of you perish, pathetic ants.' He thought.

He saw those creatures rushing out madly, trying to escape. Even of the pitch-black darkness inside the enormous volcano, it was clear as day for him.

'Those creatures shall await a month before coming out of the hole. However, this was adequate time for the lowly people of this tiny world to be prepared of such meager pets.'

He had already shouldered the "pain" that would have already obliterated a universe, for a million years. He could have fallen asleep but he awaited this day to root a basic foundation for his growth.

If he will go in a slumber, his memories would hide beneath his consciousness. This was to await until this new body could shelter the essences by the gained knowledge of the countless daos. It need to sustain and survive while avoiding of self-implotion. Hence, this body required to improve to an extent it could be a satisfying vessel.

'Survivability, the main lesson and the core mental foundation I shall impart myself with. With this emotional and mental fortitude, my path shall easily embark on a steady and flowing manner. I hope my new personality shall not disappoint me.'

After that he flew to a calculated village, not far from the deep abyss yet was also not near. It was sufficient to avoid from those creatures and survive in fear.

He made a wooden box out with a cloth smooth sheet. It was derived from his use of the daos. It was emplaced in front of a particular house, suggesting for adoption. He placed himself within it.

'A village is better than a city, providing an ethical moral standard and deep camaraderie of kinship. Hence, the basic deterrence of not allowing me a full-fledged devil if necessary. Shall I fell into slumber, so does my aura. All of those beasts had imprinted my appearance. When they felt no threats from my sapless body; chasing the greatest food nutrition in the face of the universe as a skipping for multitudes evolutions, was only a matter of a time.'

When his body was formed inside of that abyss, every beast witness a miracle of a universe. However, they felt great terror, for going near in the formation of countless daos, was akin to killing oneself. And especially, it was leaking his aura, the soul of a supreme existence. As such, they were terrorized.

However, their greed was kept within. Plus, they were intelligent. Feeling no danger lurking out from him, they would surely attack him. It was because eating his body, could let them attain immortality. Or even beyond their greatest imagination.

They knew it instinctually for they had felt the improbable and impossible changes happening during the miraculous formation of a transcendent existence. That baby was akin to a legendary elixir, no more than that! Maybe it would let them directly become a god after devouring him entirely.

They also knew that if they let the child grow, the benefits after eating him would be multiple times more than being just a god. However, being intelligent granted them wisdom, a terrible existence lied within that body. And if further growth, they would no longer had a chance. Hence, the sooner they found out he was weak, they would rush to him immediately.

Moreover, the information could be leaked out to humans, granting him no peace. Like the past times he was first created by the gods and lived an inhabitable planet a human could not survive, with a chance impossibly close to zero percent.

Living in this current world seemed to be a paradise to him.

He knew himself so well, he would arise again to the top. This was his destiny and his fate alone.

It was an undeniable fact as he stood above his creators and became a god among the gods, a supreme existence solely atop of all the entirety.

At this moment, the soul that shaken everyone deep to their core since time immemorial, the very name that triggered the heavens once it was uttered out, had finally fallen into a deep slumber, never to awaken until the destined time.

His name was Gloathiac.

A name without a last. The first name which Gods created to gloat upon, and their turn to be gloated in the end.

The time was dawn. Everyone had just started to move inside of the houses from this particular village, awaken from their good sleep. Some had already went to fish or hunt in earlier dawn, before Glothiac had emplaced himself to the village. As a result, the baby was still in deep sleep, without no one noticing him yet.

It was only until the door opened and a man in his forties, with a shaven mustache, lean physique with well-defined muscles, a deep black hair and dark eyes that flickered in great surprise seeing the baby in the ground.

His eyes changed from surprise to shock then followed by exciting joy. He was supposed to hunt with a bow behind his back and leather equipment for a hunter on his body, including daggers laid hidden in its strap to his waist. However, seeing a bestowed child from heavens, which was gifted to them for their earnest calls of prayers; his eyes slowly became wet in happiness.

He shouted to his wife who was in bed, curling in deep pleasurement of her sleep. "Louissa, wake up! Our prayers had finally reached the heavens."

"Uhmm" The woman moaned in awake as she finally heard his husband in excitement for years. She stared at him, digesting the information given to her.

"Louissa, its a baby. We are finally bestowed a son. Look, he is so handsome. I bet the royals will go crazy for him." The husband ardently spoke as he tried to grasp the baby from the wooden box.

"A baby?" The woman rubbed her eyes like a child, as her vision started to clarify.

When she saw the cutely thing squirming its feeble body across the arms of her husband, she could not help but yelp in piercing surprise.

"A baby!!!"

Her voice resounded out the amiable village. Everyone heard it and the chief person of this village, was also deeply surprised.

"Why would a woman around her age, shout out during this early morning? Did something happen outside.?" The village chief, an old man mumbled his first sentence, and then loudly said the second, intending for a young teen outside to hear.

After hearing the shout of the woman, the young teen was deeply intrigued for hearing the word "baby". Upon hearing what his old man said inside this big rotund house yet covered with tent, he immediately replied, "Father, I will look to it."

He left the chief dwelling place as he swiftly approached a near area. He soon discovered a crowd of people, with joyous smiles on their faces. Some also just came, like him, wondering what the occasion is.

"What's the matter?" He asked. His body was still slender for he was still a teen, aging at fourteen. He didn't mostly lift weights and carried strength tasks; for teens of his age, would have already a muscle toned build. His long hair went down half to his body, ending at his waist, like a girl's lengthy hair. However, his eager eyes carried the disposition of man.

"Those couple finally had a baby. A gift from the heavens indeed." A middle-aged woman answered him.

"Oh. What a great surprise. This occasion needed to be held a festive event. EVERYONE, LETS HAVE A PARTY TONIGHT!" The young teen echoed out his statement.

Everyone knew of him as the sole son of chief villager, as such, his words carried a little weight. Everyone respected him and treated him like a grown up person. Hence, all of the people easily agreed and celebrated with a joyous atmosphere.
