1 Reborn Ch.1

Looking back at my life I had lots to regret. I had started to think back in the past as I was laying their slowly but steadily dying. My family had gave me a lot in my life but even then I was just taking that for granted. Since I was always lazy my education wasn't as great as it could have been, so in the end I had decided to join the military. At first it was rough but eventually I discovered I was amazing in close combat. After a while I was called Infinity Blade. Yes, I know that the name was very cringey but what could I possibly say about it as it was true. Every time I held the blade I would have no pattern leaving me unpredictable and would always be able to counter the opponent blade but this is the real world. In this world the only thing that matter was who had the biggest guns. So in the end while on a mission I was their laying with 2 bullet wounds. (Cough Cough) As I knew that my team had made it out it felt as I done something with my life. I knew they wouldn't be able to come save me for a couple of hours. "Damn, so this really is the end." (Cough Cough) And their I was fading out out as I knew I would never see this world again. ________ (Drip Drip Drip) As soon as I felt something drop on my face I open my eyes as wide as I could. That when I saw my surroundings as they were what I had remembered then to be. My surroundings were that of flaming and destroyed buildings and road. "What the hell" That when I noticed three things. First is that my body is small and mostly likely of a child's. The second thing is that my wounds are different then how I had died. And the last and most creepiest is that their are lots of corpses. "HEY!!! LOOK OVER THERE, A CHILD IS STILL ALIVE" That when I notice a random man wearing some type of armor and welding a spear came up running. "Hel-" But before I could say help me I had pass out. —————- When I woke up, I was in a hospital room. Their I was laying on my bed and connect to my arm was a needle connected to a bag fill with a light red liquid. That when I noticed my body really had change. My arm were short and if I had to guess I was a little over 4 foot. Before I could see what else had change a nurse and doctor had walked in. "Hello there sweetheart are you feel fine?" Said the nurse in a worried tone. " Yes, I am feeling fine…" and before I could say more I was in shock as my voice sounded like that of a child. Then the doctor spoke up. "Seem as the potion has taken it effective" "Potion?" I said in a confused manner. Then the nurse spook. "Do you remember anything sweetheart?" That when I tried to remember who I was but all I could remember was my military training and I said "No, I can't" That when the nurse and doctor had a worried face. As they started talking I then saw what I look like in the mirror and what I saw was a face but not any face as it wasn't my own face . This face had dark green eyes and light brown hair. What shook me the most is that I look like I was just 13 years of age. "Sweetheart" "Umm, yes?!" As I was finally able to get out of my trance I notice she called out to me and asked for my name. "I don't know" Then after chatting a while they told me to rest and try to sleep. While trying to figure out who I was and where I was I just turn on the TV in the room. [BREAKING NEWS: Massive SS rank dungeon break out leaving thousands of hundreds of people to die!!!] 'SS ranked dungeon? What the hell!' That when I finally realized this is not my world and that I had reincarnated into this child body. Then I read another news heading [BREAKING NEWS: Tens of S ranks meet tragic end in SS rank dungeon breakout!!!] 'Wait a second, aren't those characters of the novel called "Strongest Spear System". ' Now you must be wonder how a military man like me would know that. Well, when I was still alive in my past life I had wasted most of my teenage and early adulthood reading all sorts of novels besides of living my best life. I know it embarrassing but it already happen so I'll leave it in the past. 'Wait, but a SS dungeon breakout never happen because the main character stopped it. The only other time it happen in the novel was 10 years before the story started. So 10 years from now is when the story will start' That when a flux of emotions hit me as I didn't know if I was lucky or unlucky to be born in a different generation than the hero. But one thing I knew for sure is that I will live and to make sure I don't regret. Then I thought of one word 'Status' * Name:??? Age:12 Condition: Weaken Potential: (Unawakened) Arts: None Unique Skill:——— Skills(0/5: ——— ——— ——— ——— ——— * I was shocked when I look at my status because not only did I have the potential to chose my unique skill but I also had 5 skill slots. The unique skill was rare to the point that only top class hunters would have one. Not only that but I also had 5 skill slots which is the most amount of slots you can have. On my status it currently says unawakened but that only because I'm not of age. In this world everyone has a status but not all of them are the same. For example, if it saids that you are unawakened in your status then you can become an awakened. But if it blank like most of the world then you can't become one and if don't have the potential then the status would only tell you your name and age. If I had to compare my potential in this world only 15 had this type of potential including the main character. Then I close my status and turn off the TV to go to sleep and that was the start of my reborn life.
