Evan stopped in his tracks and glanced at his father, who had a fond smile and eyes trailed after Aeinshia. It was a loving and genuine caring smile like a father showers on his own child. The one with affection and overflowing love in it.

But somehow there is an undecipherable sadness within those eyes. It's like he is missing someone who is dearest to him. He always had that same emotion in his eyes whenever he looked at his beloved niece.

Evan's eyes trailed after his father's gaze and noticed it was Aeinshia. Part of him knows, what his father's gaze meant and part of him didn't understand why his father asked him to stop in his tracks. Evan never understood what was that untold sadness, that maintains itself, whenever his eyes were on Aeinshia. 

Was he trying to find a shadow of late aunt Beatrice in Aeinshia?
