59 Chapter 59. Family dining(5)

Aeinshia was now, frowning hard and suddenly felt someone watching her and looked up to find all the eyes of men on her.

She looked around meeting all of their gazes but, couldn't figure out what were they exactly expecting from her. She wasn't paying attention to their words, courtesy of her wretched internal battle.

Everyone seated on the dining table were eyeing her curiously. "Aeinshia, are you alright?" Alexander spoke out softly, while reaching out to hold her hand.

Aeinshia hesitantly smiled and nodded. She didn't want any of them to worry about her problems. Its not like they would have any idea on what she was facing. Then again, its not like she could share this kind of information with anyone.

Alexander leaned towards her and placed his palm on her forehead, gently. She didn't realize but, she was sweating buckets. "Are you not feeling well? You are sweating a lot." He asked, worry evident heavily in his voice. Felix, now grabbed her arm, trying to feel any temperature raise on her.

At this point, everyone were worried. Evan was eyeing Aeinshia across from her. He didn't really show but, he was observing her from the very start. He may look like a stalker but, he can't help but, let his eyes wander onto her.

She was like magnet for his eyes and well, for him as well. But, nobody need to know that.

Back to the topic, he noticed how uncomfortable Aeinshia became when the topic of her mother was brought up. His eyes softened up on realizing, that 'mother' topic was very sensitive for the people in their families.

Maybe it was a curse or whatever, but, the royal children could were able to experience mother's love. Either it was not present at all or was snatched from them at a very tender age.

Aeinshia's mother was not their from the moment she was born. Her first breath was the last breath for his aunt.

All the constant blaming for being a curse, affected Aeinshia more than it should. What were they expecting from a small child, not to be effected by all the words that were spoken in loud whispers? How foolish. How immature.

Hard rocks are known to be cracked by words, then there absolutely no expectation for humans, let alone a child, just blooming into a beautiful flower.

Evan understood her pain, so, he decided he would have a little talk with her later. He may be awkward but, he was willing to try and cheer up the person, who has given him a reassurance to stay by his side, always and forever.

Evan understood Aeinshia's pain of not having a mother. But, he couldn't understand her pain to loose her future along with him.

Aeinshia was now, panicking internally not knowing what to say or do anymore. Her mind has gone haywire. But, she took deep breath from her mouth and forced herself to see her surroundings and not let anyone suspect something was worrying her.

She smiled and took her arm that Felix held to touch her forehead. She slightly pushed away Alexander's hand that was resting on her forehead and touched her head. She chuckled nervously and looked up to her uncle.

"I think my excitement for the morning is wearing off." She tried to joke and laughed, expecting everyone to buy her lie and follow her laugh.

What followed her nervous, attempted laugh was an eery silence filled with confusion and frown in from the members seated around her.

This going to be harder than I think. Aeinshia groaned trying to dig up anything from her dazed brain to make them believe her.

She sighed heavily which caught Felix, who was observing her, off guard. He clutched her hand again and Aeinshia looked up to them. She gently smiled at him and again, turned to her uncle again.

"I think I need a good rest, ive not been able to sleep well from days." To add attention to her statement, Aeinshia smiled tired, which was returned by a relieved smile from Alexander.

"Then, you may go rest in your chambers, food will be served there for you. Felix will assist you there." Alexander told, while looking at Felix, who nodded immediately, without any hesitation.

Aeinshia panicked even more because, she didn't want to go to her room now. They have to decide about her every year journey to the temple in the honor of her mother. The journey which, would apparently change her whole life.

"Armh..... I don't want to go.." She said with a small voice, slumping more into her chair, to avoid getting up. Again, everyone stared at her with confusion and uncertainty on what she was thinking.

"I...I wanted to talk about my journey....to the temple...neat City Sylter" she spoke with a trembling voice.

Upon hearing that words in that kind of voice, every eyes that watched her with curiosity and confusion, turned soft.

They understood her reason for suddenly becoming sick, now. (They exactly didn't know the truth)

"I'll go with you."
