Kumagawa went silent for a second as he stared blankly at the screen, his smile present as always as his head tilted a bit in confusion and also surprise. The first two names that had appeared, he was pretty sue he could make an educated guess as to who they were, the last one... fuck knows who.

If he wasn't mistaken, the person that immediately came to his mind just from those three describing words was Rory Mercury, a character from the anime GATE if he remembered correctly. He's heard of the anime, but he never really got into watching the entire anime.

First reason this was most likely her was that she wore gothic clothing, and also that she apparently had been described to look like a thirteen-year-old despite her actual age. Though, in his opinion, from what he's seen of her, she looked at least fifteen, not thirteen.

Anyway, from what he recalled, she was apparently the Apostle for a god of war or something, he couldn't really remember.

Moving on, the next person he was quite certain was none other than Killua Zoldyck, the child assassin from the popular Hunter x Hunter series. It was an anime he enjoyed watching, honestly probably one of his favourites alongside the other popular titles like Dragon Ball, Fairy Tail and such.

The reason for his assumption was that Godspeed was Killua's greatest techniques, along with the fact that the guy was a deadly assassin despite his age also helped solidify his guess. If this person wasn't Killua, then he honestly had no clue who else it could have been.

"Who the fuck is Lil Wang?" Kumagawa blinked his eyes when he looked at the name of the last member that had joined the group. He didn't recognise it, nor could he relate it to anything really. "Chi? Like life force, perhaps something similar to Ki? Why the Lil Wang part though? Does the person have a tiny dick or something?"

『Lil Wang of Chi: Hey, who's insulting my wang?! My wang senses are tingling!』

『Godspeed Assassin: Who the hell are you guys? What's with my name?』

『Godspeed Assassin: No one cares about your wang, whoever you are!』

Kumagawa couldn't help but be amused by the flow of the conversation between the three of them, they seemed to be getting along nicely... somewhat. Now that he thought about it, where was the other member? Where was Rory? Well, if his assumptions were correct that is.

He hadn't seen her type a single message into the chat, so he was curious to know why that was? Was it possibly because of a language barrier? That might be the case, though it could also just be because Rory didn't understand how to type using the keyboard. Yes, the holographic screen had a keyboard.

The world in which Rory came from definitely didn't have any form of modern technology, at least until the JSDF arrived in it. It was more your typical fantasy world from novels and isekai anime, so technology was non-existent in them most of the time.

Killua didn't exactly have a concrete plan when he ran away from home, he just wanted to leave since he honestly had enough of killing twenty-four-seven. Don't get him wrong, he didn't feel bad at all with killing people, that was just how he was raised. He just wanted to do something fun.

Not too long ago, he was honestly just walking around the streets of one of the cities thinking about what he should do next. He had heard about the Hunter Exam, so he might try and participate in that to amuse himself, it was said to be challenging and life-threatening.

Though, that exam wasn't going to be taking place until after two weeks, so he had to find something to do to kill the time. Speaking of which, that issue might have been solved as he was now sitting on top of a large building while looking at the blue screen in front of him.

He didn't know where it came from, nor did he have any chance of reacting before it appeared in front of him. While he was indeed cautious of whatever this thing was, he had to admit that the conversation he was currently having with two other people was interesting... also infuriating.

'This Little Dick...!' Killua felt his eye twitch in annoyance as the guy who he now knew as Lo Wang kept making annoying comments. From what the guy said, he was also an assassin like him. 'If this guy makes another comment about his wang gang, I'm gonna kill him!'

Very much similar to the others, Lo Wang was confused when this blue screen appeared in front of his fucking face when he was driving. It literally almost made him fucking crash his car! He could swear that he almost shat his pants when this thing appeared.

Anyway, the chat group was pretty damn entertaining. Especially the conversation he was having with these two people, Kumagawa and Killua. He had even found a member of the wang gang in Killua, truly the screen was a blessing indeed!

While the three males were having their crazy conversation, a certain apostle could currently be seen sitting on a rock as a pleasant smile was on her face. Though, the bodies that littered the ground around her didn't exactly match too well with the rather innocent look she had.

This person was of course Rory Mercury, the apostle to the Emroy, the god of darkness, war, violence and death. She had just finished killing a group of bandits when the strange screen appeared in front of her, and she wasn't entirely sure how to react to it.

She just stared at the screen in confusion as she saw a rather interesting conversation to say the least, but it was amusing nonetheless. It seemed that the people currently speaking with one another through this screen were in the same situation as her, probably confused about what this screen even was.

"How interesting~, let's see here..." Rory giggled a bit before curiously tapping her fingers on the numerous letters present on the screen. These other three people seemed to be talking with visible words, so she should also be able to. "Oh, there we go! I see how this works now!"

It took a few seconds for Rory to fully grasp the keyboard, though it wasn't insanely complex, not at all. Each button just had a specific character that made up the language, so she just needed to tap each character respectively to say what she wanted, it was simple as that.

『Killua Zoldyck: So, we're all supposedly from different worlds, as in different universes? You do realise how crazy that sounds?』

『Kumagawa Misogi: That's the only explanation I can come up with, I've never heard of the places you've told me about. Also with how this chat group is called 'Cross-Dimensional', it might not be too far off from the truth』

『Lo Wang: Yeah, I've certainly never heard of your Kuckoo Mountain』

『Killua Zoldyck: It's Kukuroo Mountain damn it!』

『Gothic Lolita Apostle: Greetings!』

『Lo Wang: The silent one finally speaks!』

『Lo Wang: Hey, Zoldick. Kumagawa. Do you think this person's nickname means they're the apostle to some kind of gothic loli god?』

While Rory can't say that she understood what the term haemorrhoids meant, she did find the conversation amusing. If what she read before while watching the conversation was true, then that meant the three people in this chat group as it was called were all beings from other realities. She couldn't help but be curious.

The idea of meeting beings from different realities never really occurred to her, her only goals had been to complete the tasks given to her by Emroy, and that was pretty much it. Now that she was speaking with people from different dimensions, he interest was truly piqued.

What kind of people were they?

What were their worlds like?

"I have feeling this going to be very exciting~!"
