19 Will you go out with me?

- Location: Japan

Henri found a set of metal stairs next to a building that led to the rooftop. She started speeding up with her shoes. "Henri, stop!" Jihye yelled, speeding up as well.

"Stop following me!" Henri shouted. Her shoe glowed as she stomped on the metal railings, damaging the stairs to halt Jihye's chase.

"Let's just talk, please!" Jihye said, jumping a few meters to pass the broken stairs.

"We have nothing to talk about!" Henri said, continuing to run towards the rooftop.

As people heard the commotion, a crowd started to gather, watching Jihye chase after Henri.

Henri reached the rooftop with heavy breaths, starting to run again. Jihye caught her arm and said, "Henri, please... tell me what's wrong so I can help you." Jihye pleaded with a sincere voice, holding her hand.

Henri had a frustrated expression, shaking her arm free. "Fine," Henri said, walking while Jihye followed her.

"Every time I'm with you, time feels too short yet too long at the same time. You make me do certain things, stupid things! I cannot describe how I feel through words." Henri paused before continuing. "Jihye, I... I... think I like you!" Henri exclaimed, blushing.

Jihye's eyes widened. She, who paralyzes others, felt paralyzed for the first time in her life as her face turned red.

Seeing Jihye's surprised reaction, Henri suddenly said, "I knew this was a mistake, you and me. What would others think?" She turned around and recklessly started running, not noticing she was near the edge.

"Henr-" Jihye's voice stuttered as she saw Henri fall.

At this moment, forgetting everything else, the quirk cells on her body suddenly started accelerating as she jumped off to catch her.

Henri's eyes widened as she saw Jihye coming towards her with a pair of jet black shadowy wings.

"Beautiful," Henri thought as the entire world looked like a blur except for Jihye as she came closer.

"Henri!" Jihye exclaimed, catching her. "J-Jihye," Henri cried as Jihye embraced her in the air.

"Don't scare me like that!" Jihye shouted, tears falling from her eyes.

"I'm sorry," Henri said, hugging her tightly.

...

Some time passed as they just hugged each other, as if the world around them was frozen in time.

"About what you said earlier," Jihye said as they descended to the rooftop. "Oh! About that... forget what I said! I was just... uh... excited! Excited from that fight we saw earlier! That's right!" Henri said, avoiding eye contact with Jihye.

"I like you too, Henri," Jihye suddenly said, looking directly at her.

Henri suddenly looked at Jihye in shock. "I usually never think about these things. I never thought anyone would ever want to be with me." Jihye paused for a bit, rubbing the back of her neck while looking away.

"But if I had to say who I could see being with me for the rest of my life, it would be you," Jihye said, looking at Henri's eyes that were as blue as the sky.

"Henriette Adelheid V. Heinrich, will you go out with me?" Jihye said, approaching Henri with a nervous yet determined expression.

"Huh?" Henri was frozen in place, her face becoming as red as a tomato as her heart started pounding.

Jihye suddenly became nervous due to her silence.

But her worry disappeared as Henri embraced her again. "I WILL!! I WILL GO OUT WITH YOU!" Her voice was so loud that onlookers heard her from four floors below.

"Does this mean you're my girlfriend now?" Jihye said with a blush as their moment was interrupted by police sirens.

"Get down from there! Now! We received reports that you two just used your quirks without a license!" a police officer shouted as the crowd of onlookers looked at him.

"Hey! Leave them alone!" "They're just kids!" "Don't ruin their moment!" They all yelled at the cop, making him hesitant.

"Let's get out of here," Jihye said, sweeping Henri off her feet, carrying her as she flew away with her wings.

The police officer looked back at the rooftop as they suddenly disappeared. "Damn it," the officer said, getting back into his car.

...

Jihye and Henri flew around the city, enjoying the view. "Your wings... they're so beautiful... you look like a fallen angel," Henri said with rosy cheeks.

"I think this is another part of my quirk," Jihye said as they landed in an empty alleyway.

"I think you should go. The police might still be after us. I'll try to buy you some ti-" Jihye was interrupted as Henri punched her shoulder.

"You dummy," Henri said while looking down. "Just come with me! I'll call Liam, and we can go home!" Henri exclaimed, pulling Jihye's hand.

"But-" "No buts! This is final!" Henri said as she started texting Liam.

"He says he'll be here in five minutes. You need to hide your wings," Henri said, looking at the shadowy black wings.

Jihye then started concentrating as the wings slowly disappeared.

But as the wings dissipated, Jihye's vision started blurring, and she felt dizzy.

"Damn... how typical," Jihye suddenly fell to the floor, passing out in front of Henri.

"Jihye! Wake up!" Henri started to panic as a car suddenly parked nearby.

Liam got out of the car and ran towards Henri and Jihye.

"What happened, young miss?" He said as he checked on Jihye. "Help her, Liam!" Henri said, holding Jihye's hand.

"It seems she just passed out, but we better take her to a hospital," he said as he carried Jihye.

"Open the door for me as we go, young miss!" he said as they got into the car, heading to a hospital.
