21 GLIMPSE OF DREAD!! (This chapter is a bit dark)

- Location: Japan, Heinrich family estate

[POV. Third-Person]

A person covered in blood stood above ground, his bladed teeth suspending him in the air.

"Pretty... so pretty flesh," he said as he started biting a hand.

Seeing this, Henri immediately fell to her knees and vomited. "I-is that a human hand?!" she exclaimed, dread gripping her heart.

"Young miss, call the police! Tell them a villain is here and we need heroes!" Liam said as he aimed his laser at the villain.

BLAST!

The ground nearby got scorched as some of his beam got deflected. "His teeth are reflective. It's going to take constant pressure to break through," he said as he tried to gain some distance while his beam curved, hitting the villain.

"Flesh!! Such pretty flesh," the villain exclaimed as his teeth suddenly busted in all directions.

Seeing that Henri was about to get stabbed, Liam suddenly switched the trajectory of his beam, targeting the blades headed towards Henri at full blast. Straining his eyes, he disintegrated the bladed teeth, but Liam suddenly felt intense pain.

STAB!

His thigh was hit by one of the teeth, and he winced. "Liam!!" Henri exclaimed as she started looking around for something she could use.

"Young miss! Just run!" Liam yelled as he broke apart the bladed teeth that pierced his thigh.

Instead of running away, Henri started sprinting towards the car. As she touched the car, it started glowing and shifting.

Seeing what Henri was up to, Liam realized that he had to buy time.

"It's been a while, so I'm probably rusty..." He said as he started concentrating.

BLAST!

"GLIMPSE OF DREAD!!" Liam screamed his ultimate move as the beam became so large that he could not control it, but it was strong enough to break through the villain's defense.

The villain was able to regenerate his teeth in time to protect himself from the blast, but he was pushed back.

Liam breathed heavily as the villain stared at him with seething anger.

"Don't look at me, you idiot."

BOOM!

The villain was suddenly hit by a large robotic fist, flying tens of meters.

"Repulsion Gauntlet revised! Model: Crusher Schlagen!!" Henri screamed, surprising Liam with the power of her attack.

"F-fles-"

BLAST!

The villain was interrupted as Liam shot his mouth, making him unable to use his quirk.

"Thank you... young miss..." Liam said as he sat on the floor, immediately trying to cauterize his bleeding wound.

Henri also fell to her knees due to exhaustion.

Some time passed, and the police and heroes arrived, only to realize that the villain had already been beaten.

The police immediately arrested the villain, and the heroes acted as escorts.

Then the ambulances arrived, taking Liam to the hospital due to his wound. They also took the bodies of the two dead workers from the manor.

Henri almost passed out upon seeing their bodies.

Her father quickly arrived to comfort her, and they went back inside the house through another door.

"Is Liam going to be okay?" Henri asked with concern as she sat on her bed. "He'll be fine. Thankfully, he stopped himself from bleeding too much. So, don't worry, my princess. Everything and everyone will be okay. Just get some rest," her dad said as he closed the door on his way out.

"This has been both the best and worst day of my life," she said as she closed her eyes.

Months passed, and the Heinrich family started preparing for Henri's 15th birthday.

"My princess!! You'll be going to UA soon! Your dream is about to come true!" Henri's dad said as he hugged her.

"D-dad, please let go. I have to write the invitation letters!" She exclaimed as she walked off towards her room.

"My princess, you don't have to write these letters yourself!" Her dad argued, wanting to spend more time with his daughter.

"Let me at least write one for one person!" She said with a blush as she closed her door.

She sighed as she went to her desk.

"Now, where do I begin?" She said as she started writing. Time passed, and her trash bin started to fill with crushed paper from her failed drafts.

"..Love, Henri..." She wrote as she spoke, finishing the letter as she exhaustedly sighed.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Someone knocked on her door. "Young miss, we have visitors," Liam said as he opened the door.

"So? What's that got to do with me?" Henri said as she closed her notebook.

"Your father instructed me to call for you. The Yaoyorozu family has come for a visit," he said as Henri looked at him with a face that basically said she doesn't care.

Liam sighed as he continued, "And Ms. Jihye will be arriving soon for a visit as well."

As soon as Henri heard that, she immediately pushed Liam out the door as she went to go prepare and dress herself up.

Liam could only chuckle with a smile as he walked away.
