"Click!*"

Kannon turned on the lights revealing the dark and almost empty spacious apartment.

Her body drooping down on the floor feeling the depressing emotion swirling inside her with the black theme apartment, it added even more gloominess atmosphere in the empty spacious room. The only location that had colors other than black in this place is her room which was filled with pink and purple.

Earlier she had cleaned the apartment which had barely anything to clean other than dusts and dishes. There is someone picking up their laundry as Dakota's clothes were expensive that should be delicately washed. Not the type of clothes that you throw in the washing machine with laundry detergent and call it a day.

Kannon had realized how much of a workaholic and perfectionist Dakota is, everything in this apartment were perfectly still and barely moved ever since she got here.

It was obvious that the person living here is hardly at home.

"Does she only come here to sleep?" Kannon spoke to herself.

There was only one place in this apartment that she has not clean yet, Dakota's room, she changes her bed sheets every week and it has been a week since it was changed.

[She won't be mad right?]

Kannon thought to herself referring to her intruding Dakota's room.

[It's my job as her maid anyways]

She held the door knob and slowly opened the door, a small creaking sound could be heard. There was a strong smell of cologne englufed Kannon's nose, it was of a lingering manly scent that was not too strong nor faint that made it pleasant. It was a familiar scent that Kannon was so familiar with the owner of the room.

"What was I thinking???" Kannon snapped out of her mind with her wandering thoughts. Her face has been flushed red as she decided to 'barge' inside in a gentle manner.

Her feet feeling the dusts that have accumulated on the floor Kannon immediately decided to not just change the bed sheets but also clean up the room. She was busying herself keeping her thoughts away from all the pressure in school and the hollow feeling in her heart.

Feeling contented with the results of her hard work, it was time for Kannon to work on her dress. Although her job in keeping this huge apartment clean is hard it was much more easier than her previous part time job.

After all Kannon was determined to do her part in the contract and not just sit still getting spoiled around by Dakota.

"Wow you look terrible than yesterday" Indigo spoke as she pointed out Kannon's eye bags.

"I redid the skirt and I am still missing some details....birds..or trees..something like that" Kannon yawned after finishing her words and laid on her desk.

"Are you sleeping? It's just the first period!" Indigo shook Kannon's shoulders to wake her up, their terrifying teacher is about to come and sleeping in her class is a big no.

"How could those two be so careless as always?" one of the students remarked in a mocking tone.

Yui glanced over to Indigo and Kannon who was always been overlooked in their class and left out.

"Let them be...not everyone has to blend in with other people" Yui responded in a calm and composed manner. Ever since this morning her circle of friends have noticed a difference in her aura.

Having someone pick her up from school made Kannon's school life easier and comfortable, for her everything happened way too fast. She can still vividly remember the day both her and Indigo got kidnapped but in a blink of an eye they're already living in luxury, somehow it made Kannon feel like she was still in a dream.

But no matter how she was living in a comfortable life problems are still ought to come, her piece of work for her project was yet to be finished and the end of the month is approaching but Kannon still persisted on finishing the dress.

Hours passed by quickly and it was already Thursday, it was a cramming day for Kannon not being able to properly focus on her other subjects that she studied last minute for her tests, luckily it was still enough for her to have more than passing scores. The doors of the apartment slowly opened as silent footsteps could be heard, Kannon could be seen that have fallen asleep in the couch with the table filled with her mess.

At one glance Dakota could see the traces of stress in Kannon's pretty face as she gently caressed it with her fingers, the details in the dress that she was in her hands were beautiful. The passion and hardwork Kannon poured for her dream made Dakota fell for her even more.

Feeling the warmth in her face, Kannon opened her eyes and saw Dakota fondly staring at her. She could tell that she just arrived with her luggage still in her hands and clothes, Kannon blinked twice and rubbed her eyes to make sure she was not dreaming. "Its you?" she stated in a low tone, "Miss me?" Dakota smiled teasingly which made Kannon avoid her.

Dakota could see that her ears are red making her want to tease Kannon a little more, "Oh avoiding me that much even if we haven't seen each other for a few days" Dakota walked closer and grabbed Kannon's chin making her face her. "I am not avoiding you!...I-I just don't see the need to look at you that's all!!" Kannon puffed her cheeks.

"Whatever you say kitten" Dakota sat on the couch and reached out for the needles and thread.

"You know how to sew?" Kannon was surprised as she saw her taken an interest in sewning. "No" Dakota replied blankly;

"Then what are you doing?" Kannon furrowed her brows not knowing Dakota's intention, her unpredictability is out of Kannon's league. "My wife is tired I should help out!" Dakota shamelessly muttered with a proud look on her face. "Whose you wife?!" Kannon angrily threw a pillow at her but in the end Dakota still ended up helping her in her dress.

Even though she was clumsy and her work wasn't that perfect nor too bad, Kannon felt like seeing another side of Dakota seriously working on something with her brows furrowed together and serious expression. It 'was a cool side' of her that made her look very attractive.

"Kannon?" Dakota called Kannon out of the blue still continuing to help Kannon sew the details.

"What?"

"I love you"
