8 Progress
( AN- I've read some comments where people misunderstand the Mc powers.
So to make it clear:
1- gura gura no mi ( Whitebeard fruit)
2- Weather control ( Storm from x men)
3- Mind barrier ( I didn't phrase/describe it well in the first chapter it's basically Bella's power but he can't project it to shield others.) So immune to any harmful gift.
I chose these because I had a type of human Poseidon in mind Earthshaker and Stormbringer. And yes he can control water since Storm Power or any weather is basically control of the water molecules in the air. Just he won't be using it much.
BTW I've reread the story and realized I didn't describe the Cullens.
So Rosalie looks like Scarlett Johansson in the Don Jon movie. Why? Cause she's my celebrity crush. She is blonde and she has the same small beauty mark as the real Rosalie so she's perfect for the role.
The rest of the characters look exactly the same as they do in the movies.)
As me and Bella walked to our first class. I was thinking of a way to talk to Rosalie. I wanted to make sure that she wasn't my mate. From the moment Bella told me that I kept muttering her name in my sleep. The pretty blonde couldn't leave my mind.
Till I came up with an idea. I'm best friend with Alice so it wouldn't be weird that I sit at their lunch table. That way I can get to know her without forcing it. If I see that she's repulsed at the idea of hanging out with me. Then she's not my mate. Which will save me from any more rejections and the embarrassment that comes with it.
The first half of my day passed without me noticing. I kept thinking about Rosalie to the point I started wondering if it was healthy. As I made it out of my 4th period and made my way to the cafeteria I spotted the Cullens. Who were walking there too. So I decided to stick with them and talk with Alice.
" Sup Alice!" I greeted casually.
" Hi Theo! How are you doing?" Alice responded in an overexcited manner. While making her way toward me. She gave me a brief hug and started walking next to me toward the cafeteria.
" Good actually, you wouldn't believe what happened near my house last night." I said while walking.
" Your talking about the lightning strike." She asked with a raised eyebrow.
" Yeah how did you know?" I asked inquisitively while eyeing Alice.
We finally made it to the cafeteria, I pushed the door and she followed after with her family close behind us.
" Well it's a small town everyone knows about it already." She replied matter-of-factly.
"Really! Guess your right." I replied while rubbing my chin. " Where is your gloomy brother anyway? He was being a dick to my sister yesterday I was hoping to talk to him." I said while nudging my head toward her family.
" Oh, he went to visit some of our family in Alaska." She said while looking away from me.
We bought some lunch ( fries and a cheeseburger) and made our way to the Cullens table. The Cullens looked at me strangely for following them and sitting in the same table as them.
" Aren't you going to sit with your sister and her friends?" Alice asked.
" Well you said it yourself, they're her friends. I'm sitting here with you you're my best friend aren't you? Except if you want me to leave." I said while getting up.
" No no no! Stay! I was just asking and besides this way you can get to know my family better." She added with clear joy that I decided to spend time with her instead of my sister.
" Ok then." I said while munching on some fries.
Alice then proceeded to introduce each one of her family.
" This is my wonderful boyfriend Jasper Hale." She said while putting a hand on Jaspers shoulder.
Jasper smiled lightly toward me and gave me a nod.
Then she danced around the table in such a graceful manner it left me dazed for a moment. "This lovely person here is Edythe and the big brute next to her is Emmet her boyfriend." She said while presenting Edythe in a dramatic way and shrugging Emmet like he was some extra.
Edythe waved at me with a smile. " Hi I'm Edythe Cullen, Nice to meet you."
While Emmet just gave a goofy smile. While presenting me his hand to shake. " Hello I'm Emmet Cullen!" He said with his deafening voice.
I extended my hand and shook his. Not caring about how cold his hand felt on my skin.
Then she moved to the blonde bombshell that I couldn't get out of my mind. And made some dramatic gestures as if she was showing the rarest diamond on earth. " And last but not least, the gorgeous Rosalie Hale." Rosalie just gave her a huff. Then looked at me and same as last time I was drawn to her as a moth to light. I really wanted her to be my mate. Because I would probably kill whoever managed to get her.
But this time Rosalie surprised me by actually giving me a small smile and a nod.
Alice then trotted back to her seat between me and Jasper. " And this is my best friend Theodore Swan." She said while presenting me to her family.
" Yeah we know who he is. I think you've said it about a hundred times yesterday that you now have a best friend." Emmet added.
Edythe tried to smack him on the back of the head but he managed to dodge only to be smacked by Rosalie. Who glared angrily at him.
" Geez! calm down, I was just joking!" Emmet said while rubbing the back of his head.
" That'll teach you for laughing at me." Alice added with a smile.
I ended up laughing at how unfortunate Emmet life is.
I was having so much fun talking with the Cullens that I didn't notice how fast the time flew by. Till the bell signalling the end of lunch time rang.
As I stood up and bid goodbye to the Cullens. Alice followed me since we had art together.
" Hey Theo, can I have your phone number. That way we could text each other." She said happily.
By the look in Alice's eyes I knew she was up to something. But I didn't mind so I gave it to her. In our way to class we kept talking about different things mainly about the art project we had to do.
The rest of the school day was pretty uneventful till I crashed in my bed.
The moment I closed my eyes to take a little nap before going for a little run and training my powers as I usually do. I received a text from Alice.

Alice: Hey Theo!
Theo: Sup Alice
Alice: I was wondering if you would be down to go on a double date tonight?
Theo: I would love to but I don't have a date except if you want me to bring my sister.
Alice: Come on Theo! I already told you I want to set you up with my sister Rosalie. That way we'll be dating both Twins.
Theo: Wait you were serious?
Alice: Of course I was. And I still am.
Theo: I don't want to dress up for a date and I'm not sure I have anything fancy to put on.
Alice: Well it's not something you have to dress fancy for since it's going to be volleyball at the beach with a little picnic at the end. So just wear something casual since the weather is too cold for us to swim.
Theo: I don't have any car to get to the beach. And I doubt Bella would want to take me there.
Alice: We'll come pick you up.
Theo: Let me think about it.
Alice: Stop making excuses to not come. You're not getting out of this one.

I started thinking about why Alice would push me so much on having me date Rosalie. I was confused on how Rosalie treated me these past couple days. First she goes all glaring at me for no reason and treats me like I was air. To smiling at me from time to time at lunch. We still never actually talked to each other. So I didn't understand is she my mate or not.
You know what fuck it, I can't get her out of my mind anyway. Why not go for it. In worse case scenario I'm not her mate and it's back to zero.

Theo: Fine, let me take a shower and get dressed. What time are you guys picking me up?
Alice: Yeesss!!
Alice: We'll be at your house at around 7pm.
Alice: Where do you live?
Theo: (Chief swan address)

I looked at the time and found it was already 6pm I had an hour to prepare so I decided to at least workout for about 30min. Before showering and dressing up. That way I don't slack of on training.
After a couple of push up, set ups and squat. I made my way to the shower. And took a quick shower. Seeing as there was only 5 minutes left before Alice would arrive I quickly put on some black jeans, a black shirt and a beige crew neck. As I finished dressing up I received a text from Alice saying that they were in font of the house. As I made my way downstairs I was interrupted by my dad.
" Hey Theo where are you going like that?" He asked with the corner of my eyes I saw Bella turning her head to listen to the conversation.
" I've got a date." I said with a proud smile.
" Oh and who is this lucky lady." My father asked.
" Rosalie Hale. You might know her she's one of Doctor Cullens kids." I said while putting my shoes on.
" Oh the tall blonde one?" He asked.
" Yup!" I replied with a proud smile.
He slid a 100$ bill in my hand. " Take care of her kid." He said with a proud smile. Probably knowing how attractive Rosalie is.
God my dad is awesome! I didn't correct him about the picnic part of the date and just kept the money.
I left the house quickly and notice a red convertible BMW M3. In front of the house with Rosalie at the wheel. Alice was signalling for me to hurry from the back seat. The only free seat was next to Rosalie's in the passenger side.
I made my way to the overexcited Alice. And gave her a brief hug then greeted Rosalie and Jasper with a nod of the head before entering the car.
Rosalie was wearing a form fitting blue jean a red shirt with frills at the bottom. With a jean jacket on top of it. And some Louboutin heels. I don't know how she plans to walk on the sand with those but vampire perks I guess.
Rosalie must've noticed me looking at her choice of shoe wear. " I like heels." She said and for the first time I heard her voice. Her voice immediately put me in a small daze. It had a small husky and raspy undertone. Like she just got out of bed which gave it a seductive kind of tone.
Alice hand took me out of my daze by closing my mouth, I was gaping at Rosalie without knowing it.
Shit I'm fucking screwed, if she's not my mate I'm gonna probably end up crying tears of blood from jealousy at whoever is.
