A/N

You guys convinced me to not drop the story so I'll try my best to finish it at a leisurely pace.

I'll try putting out at least a chapter a week, if I have more motivation maybe more.

I woke up at 6 am and did my usual morning routine consisting of showering and getting dressed. As I made my way downstairs for breakfast. Bella saw my face and exclaimed. "I see that your date went well?"

" What do you mean?" I asked.

" Well you have that goofy smile on your face, like some lovesick puppy." She replied with a smug smile.

" No I don't." I replied, I knew I didn't look goofy. I may have a little more pep to my steps and be more at ease and less bored. But I know for certain I don't look goofy.

" So?" Bella asked while serving me a plate of scrambled eggs.

I sat down and started eating and decide to just ignore her.

" Come on you can't just leave me hanging?" She asked.

" I had a date. That's pretty much it." I replied while eating.

" So are you guys like a thing now?" She asked inquisitively.

" Why do you care?" I asked back.

" Ugh, can't you just answer me! Please? The suspense is killing me." She said while passing her hand through her hair and biting her bottom lip.

" Well if you must know, then yes we're a thing." I said as I finished my plate and dropped it in the sink. " Come on hurry before we're late for school."

"Well someone's eager to be there for once" Bella mumbled before taking her keys.

The drive to school was weird. It seemed that Bella wasn't pleased that I was now in a relationship. She barely talked to me throughout the drive there and the moment she parked the truck. She left me in the parking lot and went to her class.

' The fuck? Why is she in such a bad mood all of a sudden.'

As I looked through the parking lot to see if the Cullens had made it to school yet. I noticed that their cars weren't in the parking lot.

I decided to text Alice to ask about their whereabouts. That way if they were close to school, I could wait for them.

Theo: Good morning Alice

Theo: Are you guys close to school or should I just go to class already?

Alice: Ah sorry Theo, I didn't tell you earlier . Me and my family are going hiking today. My father likes to take us hiking every time it's sunny out.

Theo: Ah ok! Have a good day then and say Hi to Rosalie for me.

'Damn seems my good mood ended up affecting the weather.'

Alice: I will

Alice: Actually, why don't you tell her yourself? I'll give her your number so you can talk to her directly.

Theo: Sure! And what about the art project that we're supposed to finish we're still on for Tomorrow right.

Alice: Yeah we said Saturday my place. Me or Rosalie will come pick you up in the morning.

Theo: Ok see you tomorrow then.

Just as I made it through the door to my first class and sat beside a gloomy Bella. I received a text from Rosalie.

- (Text messages)-

Rosalie: Good morning Theo, sorry I forgot to tell you about not coming to school today.

Theo: Morning to you beautiful. It's all good, just next time you guys want to go hiking could I come with you. I'd prefer a day in the forest than a day stuck inside a school to be honest.

Rosalie: I don't know about that, it's kind of a family thing. I'll ask my father about it next time we have one planned.

Theo: Sure. Well class is starting. Have a good day out there!

Rosalie: Thanks.

As I pushed my phone back in my pocket I noticed a peeking Bella who's been reading all of this conversation.

" They're not coming today?" She asked in a weird tone. Trying to hide her joy.

" Lo and behold she speaks!" I remarked her way with dramatic gestures.

" Shut up! I'm just not myself today." She said in anger and deflated right after.

" What's up?" I asked while getting my head near hers since class had started and I didn't want us to get caught talking.

" You won't understand." She murmured.

" Try me, I'm a pretty good listener." I muttered back.

" No, you literally can't understand." She stated matter of factly. A little annoyance laced in her voice.

" Are you perhaps jealous that I got with Rosalie?" I asked with an eyebrow raised acting smug.

" No you idiot!" She replied, while hitting me on the back of the arm lightly. With embarrassment clear on her face at how red she became.

" Then what?" I asked keeping my smug expression.

She turned her head the other way to not meet my gaze and ignore me.

"Come one Bella? I won't be mad at you? Tell me?" I asked while nudging her arm.

She looked back at me pondering if she should tell me or not.

Before she finally ushered me to come closer to her with a face as red as a tomato. And whispered in my ear. "I..I...I'm on my period."

The moment she said those word I felt the colour drain from my face and my smug smile fall into a shocked and disgusted expression.

Bella became even redder from embarrassment and we ended up spending the rest of the school day without saying a single word to each other.

As we finally made it home. I rushed away from Bella truck not wanting to spend another moment in that awkward vibe we had between us.

I put on a grey sport hoodie and some sport joggers and decided to go for a run. Stamina was the most important factor in using my abilities so regular runs are something I couldn't go without.

Being in forks made the run, really enjoyable. Instead of the hot Arizona weather the air didn't feel suffocating and the small amount of sun that got through the clouds today felt wonderful on my skin.

As I was running, I noticed a figure lurking in the woods. Before I could take a closer look. The figure disappeared. I started looking in the woods trying to find a glimpse of that figure while circulating electricity through my eyes to see better. Making them glow an eerie electric blue. I kept looking but I couldn't find a single trace of that person.

A car engine, took me out of my search. Preventing me from taking flight and looking at whatever was in the woods. Turning my head in the direction of the sound I saw my dad's cruiser coming my way. Putting my hand up to cover my eyes from the car's headlights. And waving at him with my other hand. He recognized me and stopped his cruiser next to me.

" Hey dad." I said while giving him a hug through his open window.

"Hi Theo, what are you doing out here?" He asked with a small smile.

I gestured at my sweaty state and responded a little out of breath. " Just went out for a little run."

" Are you done with your run? Because I wanted to take you and Bella out to dinner tonight. There isn't much sun in Forks so when there is we try to take advantage of it."

I smiled at him. " Well sure, just give me time to take a shower and get dressed and we can go." I said while getting in the passenger seat of his cruiser.

He just nodded my way and started driving.

'I don't know what was in that forest but it was definitely not human.' I thought as I kept glaring in the forest direction.

-(Line Break)-

Dinner with Dad and Bella, was pretty uneventful. Dad took us to The Lodge. The same restaurant he used to take us when me and Bella were kids.

I enjoyed my time there helping me rekindle my relationship with our Dad. Bella was as grumpy as usual. But given she was on her period I didn't mind her attitude and gave her some slack.

Meaning not getting mad at her when she called Dad by his name. I could see that it irked our dad. But he just brushed it and tried to be as understanding as possible.

As we made it back home. I beelined straight to the Tv trying to catch a movie before going to sleep. After a couple of minutes Bella and Dad joined me in the sofa with some popcorn. I could see that dad missed companionship, by how wide the smile on his face was. The movie we ended up watching being 8 miles. A movie I already watched in my past life. That I didn't mind rewatching.

When the movie ended, Bella was already sound asleep next to me in the couch and Dad had already left us since he started work early tomorrow morning.

I ended up carrying Bella to her room and tucking her in. Before crashing in my bed and letting sleep take me.
