12 Caroline

After listening to Ivan, Caroline decided to throw caution into the wind. "Ok, we can go, but you have to promise to have me home by midnight."

Ivan smiled "well, then hurry up. I only have five hours to hang out with you."

An hour later, in a clearing in the woods.

As Ivan put the car and park, he looked to his right. "Well, we're finally here."

Caroline looks at the extravagant view "well, I'll wait in the car until you set the blanket down, ok."

Ivan looks up to the moon and sighs, "Actually, I don't have a blanket; there's something I wanted to show you follow me."

As Ivan and Caroline stood in the clearing, Ivan looked her in the eyes. "Caroline, what I'm about to show you is a grave secret. Can you keep quiet about it?"

After thinking, she says, "Since you trust me with it, I'll try my best."

"Ok, then just know I won't hurt you, and you're safe."

After saying that, Ivan took a few steps back. And started to transform into his wolf form under a brightly lit blue night sky. The only sounds in the surroundings are bones breaking, snapping, and reattaching.

As this is occurring, Caroline screams in horror. "Oh my god! What's happening Ivan, what did you do?"

As Ivan finally finished turning, he slowly started to walk towards Caroline.

But as he's walking, Caroline keeps retreating in fear. Ivan tried to talk to her, forgetting he's in wolf form, so he slowly started to turn back into his human form.

As Ivan finishes, he looks towards Caroline. "This is what I wanted to show you. The supernatural world is real. There are witches, werewolves, and vampires. Don't you have any questions?

Calming down, Caroline replies, "What the hell, you're going to tell me everything about you right now!?"

"Well, this is going to be a long story, so you might want to sit down."

Two hours later

After telling his life story, excluding him being reincarnated, Ivan continues, "So that's my story, and the reason I explained all of this is because I love you. And want to know if you would spend the rest of your life with me?"

Caroline was surprised and asked, "So what do you want me to be a vampire with you? I don't think that's a great idea because this is my home people will notice if I don't age or walk in the sun."

Ivan looked at her, surprised because she didn't say she wouldn't spend her life with him. "Well, actually somehow I can create werewolves by biting them. If you want I can turn you. You will become stronger then a regular human but not as strong as a vampire. But on a full moon, just one of your bites can kill any vampire, except for an original. By the way, remember that you can't tell anybody about this."

"I know, ok you keep saying that."

Ivan leans in and kisses her "ok then let's take you home, also I have to leave town for a while I'm not sure when i'll be back. Will you wait for me?"

Caroline shows a bright smile and skips over to ivan. "Oh I'll wait for you, only if you turn me into a werewolf."

"Uh, why don't you wanna stay human?"

"Are you crazy after telling me all of this? Do you really think I want to stay weak? The answer is no, if you turn me I'll be able to protect myself."

"Well I guess you have a point I mean it doesn't really matter to me but there's a few side effects. One will be that your anger will be increased, and the second is that you will have to chain yourself up on the full moon. Because you won't be able to control yourself. Is this still what you want?"

Caroline has a determined face "yes it is."

As soon as Ivan heard her answer he bit her.

"Well that's it, you're now I werewolf, now let's get you home I still have other things to do before I leave town."

Later that night after Ivan dropped off Caroline, he went to talk to Damon and Stefan.

As Ivan was reclining on the couch Damon walked in. "Hey Damon come here real quick."

Damon looked at him with contempt "What the hell do you want? I don't have time for you."

"Call Stefan home. I have something I need to tell both of you."

Damon looked at Ivan and didn't feel any bad intentions. "Fine, I'll call him."

An hour quickly passed and Stefan walked in and set down next to Damon, looking at ivan "What do you want, I heard you had something to say so spit it out."

Ivan looked at them as if having a memory before answering. "I would like to say that even though I have hurt both of you it wasn't for the fun of it. The reason I did that is because the both of you remind me of my brothers, the both of them were always fighting. And I couldn't stand watching the both of you doing the same things as them."

Damon didn't believe him, "so why are you telling us this?"

"Because I wanted to clear the air between the three of us. Because I'm leaving and don't want you to keep being mad at me."

After saying his last word Ivan vamp sped out of the house.
