Chp 11 Meeting Haein Pt 2

On my way out of the mall I could not stop smiling at the compliments I overheard from the people around me.

In my past life I was neither handsome nor ugly I was somewhat average the only thing making me different than the people around me was my larger frame and curly hair.

To add insult onto injury I was also born in Alaska so the girls there where far from good looking and quite bitchy.

(Author note : Totally not talking about myself right now or anything...Ok maybe I am but that's irrelevant)

These where some of the reasons why I never had a girlfriend, but I was not about to have a repeat of that in this new life.

Now that I have been granted a second chance, I will not be that much of a player, but I am going to be much more outgoing.

"What time is it miss Haein" I ask trying to not awkwardly start a conversation.

"Its 6 P.M good thing we are almost back to the car or id worry about being late."

"No need to stress I'm sure we will make it" I say as I hop smoothly into the back seat of the Bentley.

On the ride toward the Sunbin groups me and Haein learned more about each other and I hit her in what I thought was a subtle manner but to someone in her position she easily noticed it.

Walking through the doors of the Sunbin building

"Hello Sir, hello Mrs. Song would you like for me to escort you to the meeting"

"No thank you I know the way" Haein said as we walked toward the elevator.

Making a quick stop at the bathroom I checked myself out in the mirror.

"This suit looks great" I say as I straighten my collar and walk to the office Haein pointed out to me.

Opening the twin doors in a slightly dramatic fashion I walk into the office instantly getting eyed down by a large amount of people in suits.

Dismissing me quickly, most likely because of my age they get back to their discussions.

"Weeks have passed and we still haven't figured out how to level up."

"We need to find out how to level up before anyone else so we can get ahead in whatever type of sick game we are now in."

"We cant even have kids anymore of course this would start as soon as me and my wife start trying."

This rowdy environment surprised me but it was instantly brought to a stop by Haein's grandfather.

"Shut up this is getting us nowhere."

"My granddaughter has brought in someone who she believes knows more than he is letting on and we need to hear his insights."

"While I may not know if he is legitimate, I trust Haein's intuition and would like to at least hear what he has to say."

I was slightly annoyed by him dumping all the expectation on me and putting me in a situation where it was either bring something to the table or get embarrassed in front of all the bigshots of the Sunbin guild but I was going to help him anyway so it wasn't that big of a deal.

"Well when you put it like that, I don't have much of a choice" I say as all eyes fall on me.

"First before I tell you anything, I want to tell you what I want in exchange for what I know."

"What is it money, power, women if you can give us information about what's happening we will offer you anything within our power if you information is valid" Haein's grandfather stated.

"I don't want much, what I want is protection and a decent position in your group along with exclusive access to everything I tell and show you."

"Ok well what do you know about the changes that are happening in the world around us?" Haein's grandfather asked.

"These monsters will not be able to be killed by our military only devas will be able to harm the."

"Using the dungeon I have already found I suggest you let your devas level up in advance so that you can defend the common people once field monsters appear in mass."
