After seeing that Lu Lingqi and Lady Yan have entered their mansion, Lie Fan and his bodyguards head back toward Lie Clan Estate where Jia Xu, Xun You, Chen Qun, Liu Ye, and Chen Gong are waiting for him in the meeting room Lie Fan prepared in his estate for them previously.

Lie Fan: "I didn't expect that everyone would be here, Wenhe you said that there was an urgent matter that needed my attention, from the way that everyone was here I think it's not a good one."

He never expected that with the changes he had made in his current timeline, the secret edict would be sent to him, as he thought that it would never happen since Liu Bei fled Qing Province due to him losing his intrigue battle with Cao Cao over Qing Province.

While he is conflicted by his thoughts, he agrees to the plan that Liu Ye has just said, he tells Jia Xu to send a reply feeling all kinds of excuses and plays needed for them to save the Emperor, and tells him to hang on at least for a couple of year's before he can come to rescue him.

As for what kind of excuses and delays, he told his advisors to all come up with them, and after he finished saying that, he continued by saying that since another variable had entered their plan, they should advance some of their plans earlier than they intended.

Lie Fan's words surprised all of his main advisors because they thought that while it was an unstable variable and also an opportunity, they didn't need to advance their plane early because of it.

Lie Fan of course agrees with their thinking, but he feels that since the narrative doesn't follow what he knows any longer, then it's better to advance some of his plan and end this turbulent era sooner than it was in the original timeline.

Seeing that Lie Fan is adamant about advancing some of their plans, Jia Xu, Xun You, Chen Qun, Liu Ye, and Chen Gong could only agree and promised to prepare for the plans that will start sooner.
