11 Namikaze’s Inheritance Art of a 1,000 Seals Part 4

[Inside the Anbu Central Building.]

"So tell me Yamato, why exactly did you store Kakashi's eye here?" Danzo questioned.

Yamato stood in front, leading the trio as he walked across a stone bridge with iron railings.

Seeing his Anbu unresponsive attitude Danzo frowned.

When he looked past Yamato, Danzo noticed that across the other side was a large archway, a group of people being led by the Hokage approached.

"Yamato! You dare to betray me?" Danzo said gritting his teeth.

"Not at all Danzo, see I brought you to Kakashi Sensei's eye," Yamato said while throwing his arm around Kakashi's shoulder.

Danzo kept his cool and stared down the Hokage and council members.

"Well, can you tell me why so many of you have gathered here?" Danzo questioned.

However, when his eyes drifted to Kibo and Fugaku, Danzo felt a strange sense of foreboding.

Kibo, Fugaku, and Shisui stood next to each other, three of the most desired Do-Jutsus Danzo had been craving for. But he couldn't make a move.

After he saw Itachi Danzo's expression showed genuine surprise. Such talent at his age was truly worthy of the Uchiha name.

Danzo still had pieced what was going on together, but after this strange ordeal was over with, he would ask Itachi to join his Anbu.

"Well, Sarutobi! Are you planning on answering me anytime soon?" Danzo said before clicking his teeth.

Sarutobi had a sad look on his face as he gazed at Danzo, "Why did it have to come to this old friend?"

The Hokage then raised his hand to signal Fugaku.

Once the Uchiha Clan Leader activated his Mangekyō Sharingan, Danzo's men tried to intervene by using their most powerful Jutsu.

However, Shisui and Itachi appeared behind them and pushed them to the ground in an arm lock. Before Danzo's Anbu could struggle, the two Uchiha placed their feet on their spinal cords restraining them effectively.

Danzo under the struggle of Fugaku's Body Control Sharingan couldn't so much as blink.

Kibo sighed as he stood beside the saddened Hokage.

Danzo may have been a lunatic, but he wasn't always this way. Not to mention he used to be Sarutobi's teammate and friend. Somewhere down the line, his thinking became twisted and perverse, yet Sarutobi could do nothing to stop it.

After seeing the Hokage expression Danzo's mood worsened. Before he could try to act, Fugaku made him sleep.

A bit of blood started dripping out of his Fugaku's eye. When Itachi saw took notice, he ran over while shouting, "Father, are you alright?"

Fugaku looked to Itachi and smiled and patted his head before saying, "I'm fine, son. Take note, this is the consequence of over-using this power, too many activations of the Mangekyō, the quicker you lose your vision."

The Hokage nodded his head in respect for Fugaku's sacrifice.

As Anbu members began carrying Danzo, Sarutobi then turned to Yamato and said "So then Yamato, please lead us to the location where Danzo and Orochimaru met."

Yamato bowed and began leading the way through a complex maze system. Root was built to confuse and trap its intruders by use of several strange seals, traps, and mazes.

Thanks to the Hokage escorting them there, they weren't in any danger, but it would take a while for the group of people to reach their destination.

While they walked Seiryu and Kibo were in a heated discussion about the Sharingan issues, when the wonderful Dragon that he is, filled Kibo in on a Do-Jutsu training method that may allow the Uchiha to keep their sight.

As they walked further in, Kibo moved over to Fugaku and started to move his lips.

Fugaku, seeing Kibo wanted to say something to him alone, activated his Sharingan, and read his lips.

"I have an Idea to help you master your Mangekyō, the issue lies with your orbital socket's chakra channels. They are far too weak to handle the massive influx of Superior Chakra, you need to train your eyes to always have your Sharingan active, it could take months, or even years of practice and tons of Chakra Drain issues, but it will eventually toughen the channels to a point where you can sustain the normal Sharingan permanently. Only then would an Uchiha be able to use their eyes to unleash the Mangekyō to its fullest capabilities. Also, Medical Ninjitsus have come a long way since the war, maybe someday your clan can exchange suitable Mangekyō's amongst clan members to take it to the next level."

Fugaku was surprised it had never occurred to him that he could train his eye's chakra channels like that. He was even more surprised at the fact Kibo was trying so hard to help his people. "Why do you care so much about our clan?" Fugaku used a strange wind Jutsu to hide his words from the others.

"Because you are part of this village, and now, I am part of this village. I'm living here with my Clan, of course, I'll want to avoid civil conflict. If helping out a Clan with their problems is the issue, then no skin off my back. Your people may have returned to their rightful place in the village, but they are still rather bitter for being mistrusted. You need to work on changing what it means to be an Uchiha. If so many of you continue down your power-hungry ways, your people will eventually destroy themselves."

Fugaku was about to speak when Kibo continued, "I am helping to show you a better way. You don't need to sacrifice to gain power. You just need to be smart and put in the effort. I think you can use this knowledge to better help your people change their ways. I see that you are far different than most Uchihas'. You're a lot in common with Shisui and the Hokage, so I'm going to trust you to do the right thing and not abuse this information."

Just as Fugaku was ready to thank him, Kibo slipped in one last comment, "Plus, thanks to using Gen-Jutsu to help advance your Do-Jutsu, you don't have to keep up that cold facade around your kids. The more you show your love to your children the better the Gen-Jutsus effects will be, and the greater sense of loss they will experience."

Fugaku seemed embarrassed, but he hid it well. It was very hard to see the small amount of blush on his face, when he said, "Um. . Yes thank you! Not only for the Do-Jutsu Training information but the information on the Chinoike Clan as well."

Kibo gave a no problem gesture as he had another reason for choosing the Ketsuryūgan Do-Jutsu for the Uchiha using them to further their own Do-Jutsu. Kibo hoped it would teach them to rely on their allies and see them as people from the same village and not people from a different clan.

A slow but useful method to teach them that the Sharingan can improve through receiving the help of others and that they weren't the only ones with special eyes.

As they walked the Root, Kibo chatted with Shisui and Itachi. They were closer to his age it looked more natural.

Itachi seemed to like bragging about his brother, so much so Kibo was beginning to suspect Itachi may be stalking him.

When asked about Naruto, Kibo responded proudly, "I've been teaching him Chakra control! Uzumaki's are rumored to have crazy levels of Chakra, and life force. This trait is especially present in Naruto's case. Recently he's started to run up waterfalls, I can't call that mastery but it's pretty good for his age," Kibo said before he threaded out a thin piece of Chakra so dense it looked like a wire.

"My plan is to get him to this level. Since he's an Uzumaki, it should be possible for him to mimic Star Chakra moldings with his own Chakra."

The two Uchiha saw his control and were thoroughly shocked. Their gasps gathered the attention of the rest of the crowd. However, they were shocked even more so when they heard how well Naruto could control his own Chakra.

Itachi suddenly thought of kicking his brother's training up a notch. He wouldn't let Sasuke lag behind Kibo's little brother. It was at this very moment, a strange and unusual rivalry started out between the two older brothers.

After they arrived at a very steep set of stairs, Yamato stood at the front and pointed before saying, "This is where Danzo holds all his hidden meetings."

They had to admit it was a pretty good hiding spot. The stairs were impossible to see at all but one angle. After heading inside Sarutobi placed a seal on Danzo's Chakra and woke him up.

When Danzo saw the room he started to worry why they had brought them here before thinking Orochimaru had sold him out.

However, he snapped out of his stupor when he heard the Hokage speaking.

"Danzo we once fought alongside one another as comrades, and now it is with a heavy heart that I must declare you a traitorous Ninja. I sentence you to be executed for your crimes," The Hokage's eyes were truly showing his pain.

Sarutobi then turned to Kibo and asked, "Kibo, could you demonstrate your Tengan's ability."

Kibo nodded his head before looking to one of the elders and asking, "Could you please step out of this room and say something, anything. Then you come back in."

The elder looked to the Hokage to see him nod. After leaving for ten seconds and returning the elder seemed confused.

"Now I'm going to show you my Tengan's ability." Kibo declared as he activated his Do-Jutsu.

He then opened the door and showed the people the holographic image of the elder standing before them.

"What are we looking at?" Another elder asked.

Before Kibo needed to answer, the past image of the grey-haired elder scratched the back of its head and said, "Tsunade's Breasts are amazing!"

Kibo slapped his hand on his forehead, covering his eyes while shutting down his Tengan.

"Well, Ahem! Elder, is this what you said?" Kibo questioned, trying his hardest to not embarrass the council member. But it was too late, the damage was done.

The elder's face was bright red and didn't deny it. The rest had figured it out and severely razed their fellow Elder with teasing words. The worst was the man's wife, who was currently giving him the stare of death.

Kibo then began to use his ability on the rest of the room, slowly time re-winded right up till Danzo could be seen conversing with a Rouge Kumogakure Ninja.

The entire scene was without speaking, the man seemed to be using a form of telepathy to converse with Danzo, so the words couldn't be heard.

This was already considered incriminating evidence. But the Tengan's power didn't stop revealing Danzo's crimes there as it continued to rewind going over the last two weeks.

Danzo had met with several questionable people and had terrible dealings with them that could damage the reputation of the village for decades.

Finally, Orochimaru appeared. What they talked about made everyone ones hairs stand on end out of pure rage.

"You gave him the fourth's and his wife's bodies. Danzo how could you?" One of the Elders cried out.

"This village has grown weak!!! Harashirama's Will of Fire will eventually lead us all to our eventual demise. I was trying to save us from the 3rd's madness! He shouldn't be Hokage, it should be ME!!!" Everyone in the room looked at Danzo in disgust.

"This village was built on the Will of Fire! It is the foundation of the will from the countless Shinobi that gave their lives for Konohagakure! And you have the gall to destroy that? Danzo, you were never fit to become Hokage. Why do you think the 2nd chose Sarutobi instead of you? It's not because you were lacking in strength, but because you lacked heart. If the village ended up in your hands then we might have already launched the 4th great ninja war. Just how many lives do you intend to take?" Kibo shouted surprising everyone in the room.

Danzo looked at Kibo like he wanted to rip out his throat with his teeth, "Shut up what would a child know about any of this?! You ever since you appeared things started going wrong!" Suddenly Danzo bit off his tongue and collapsed in a pool of blood.

"Suicide?!" one of the elders shouted in disbelief.

Before they could inspect the body Fugaku shouted, "Get Back!

Itachi and Shisui jumped back while carrying the Elders under their arms.

Sarutobi saw Danzo's body disappear and stood on guard, waiting for his attack.

Danzo reappeared with Sarutobi's seal on his Chakra broken, or more accurately, fooled into shutting down. A Chakra Seal is powered by the inflicted's Chakra. If the one powering the seal dies, it dissipates.

Danzo didn't bother aiming for Sarutobi but dashed past him and placed his finger inside Kibo's eye socket.

Danzo then attempted to swing his Kunai at the child's neck, aiming to take Kibo's life with a single stroke of his hand.

Kibo wanted to move but how could he compete against a Kage level Shinobi's speed.

Thankfully Sarutobi managed to pull Kibo back saving his life. Unfortunately, Danzo's grip on Kibo's Tengan remained still.

Plucking the left eye out of Kibo's skull, the boy screamed in pain before grabbing hold of his bleeding eye socket and falling to his knees.

Sarutobi jumped at Danzo and exchanged a few blows while signaling Shisui and Itachi to position themselves.

Seeing Sarutobi scheming to retrieve the boy's Tengan, Danzo placed Kibo's eye in his mouth while revealing his Sharingan covered arm.

Fugaku felt a wave of disgust as he recognized many of the eyes that used to belong to the missing and deceased Uchiha.

Ignoring his weakened state from using the Mangekyo Sharingan, Fugaku was about to jump in and help the Hokage.

Before he could, Danzo made a series of hand signs before performing a Jutsu.

A puff of smoke clouded the area as a large snake appeared out of a summoning circle. The snake swallowed Danzo whole as Fugaku and the Hokage chopped the snake's head off.

The snake was easily decapitated, but it was too late. This was one of Orochimaru's twin-headed transportation snakes. Whatever is swallowed ends up at the other head's mouth in a matter of seconds.

Danzo could have even already left the Village's territory entirely.

Sarutobi ran over to Kibo and pushed a pressure point on his body to stop the bleeding and knock him out.

"Get him to Konoha Hospital now!" Sarutobi ordered as he handed an unconscious Kibo to Shisui.

Because he was the fastest in the group, Shisui was the most suitable to transport Kibo.

Shisui didn't even need the Hokage's orders as he had left before he'd finished giving them with Kibo in tow.

Shisui wasn't about to let the savior of the Uchiha die on his watch.

As he ran through the streets of Konohagakure, he stared at Kibo's eye and felt a deep sense of guilt.

It didn't take him long to reach the hospital. Kibo was immediately sent in for surgery and the Hokage contacted his parents.

The next morning, Kibo woke up with only part of his vision. He tried to feel his other eye, but he knew it was gone.

He turned to his side to see Shisui and his family still here sleeping on a couch and a chair. He tried to get up but noticed his chest felt a little heavy. Kibo then noticed a sleeping Naruto at the base of his bed frame while Karin was sleeping under his blankets with her arm wrapped around his elbow,

Kibo smiled and touched his bandaged empty eye socket and felt shame.

"Like hell, I'm living with one eye!" Kibo thought as he swallowed a full recovery pill.

He knew he would have to explain this so he came up with a very good excuse. The pill had already started working. An extremely irritating itch began to make him suffer. To Kibo, it felt that being stabbed was a more preferable feeling to the one he was currently experiencing.

He clenched his sheets and stifled his voice, so as not to wake everyone in the room. Kibo wanted to scratch out the new eye that was rejuvenating so badly, that he bit his lip, drawing a drop of blood before it was instantly healed by the medicine's effects.

After five minutes of this agony, Kibo could finally feel his eye again. He removed the bandage from his face and snuck out of bed without waking Karin.

He then opened the window and climbed out onto the roof. As he climbed to the top of the roof's water tower, Kibo stared at the early morning sky.

"Man I messed up! I thought the Hokage could restrain his Chakra without problems. I didn't think an Izanagi could nullify a Chakra Sealing Jutsu like that." This was the first major defeat he had suffered since reincarnating in this world, so Kibo thought it best to take it in stride.

"What was I expecting? For everything to just go my way? I'm too weak!" Kibo shouted to the sky,

"I want to be stronger! I need to be stronger!" As those words left Kibo's mouth, all of the sudden, two new Coronas appeared inside his irises.

"Congratulations to Host for unlocking Tengan's 2nd release!"

4th Ring's Ability: Ring of Fortune can manipulate luck the luck of those who stare into Host's eyes! This can only be used once every three years. Those who have greater karmic merit will receive greater benefits. Mark of Blessing can be removed from a target to retrieve the ability earlier.

5th Ring's Ability: Ring of Misfortune Curse those who stare into Host's eyes with a bout of Misfortune. This can only be used once every three years. Those who have greater karmic sins will receive greater curses. Curse Mark can be removed from the target to retrieve the ability earlier.

"Whoa! Isn't this probability manipulation?!" Kibo questioned in a shocked tone.

Suddenly, Kibo had a rather interesting thought, "The first three rings represented the past. The second set, represent the present. Maybe the next set will represent the future."

Kibo still didn't know the cause for the evolution of his eyes when Navi said it was better off not knowing.

This was because in order for his eyes to evolve he had to have an intense desire to grow stronger. Not the normal kind that everyone has, the kind that burns like a sun. The feeling of danger is also necessary for the transformation to occur. It relies on humans' most primal instincts of survival to help evolve his Tengan.

After sitting on the roof for a few minutes the elderly Hokage appeared before him. He was about to apologize for losing his eye when he saw that a new one was already there. And not only that, Kibo's Tengan seemed to have advanced once again.

"Heya, old man!" Kibo said with a smile on his face,

"How?" Sarutobi stuttered.

Kibo laughed and tossed him a healing pill, before saying, "When I was a kid out exploring I came across a strange old man who claimed he was God of Medicine. He taught me some things and gave me some pills. This is a healing pill, capable of completely curing its taker as long as they aren't dead. Even lost limbs can be reattached and small organs such as my eyes can be regenerated. At first, I thought he was crazy, but he just laughed and told me to someday pass on the skill to someone worthy. That was the last time I saw him."

The Hokage couldn't detect any lie from him, but that was thanks to Kibo's perk. Once again saving him from explaining the truth.

"You can keep it. Have the medical Nin look at it. If they can copy it, then it will be good for the village. If they can't or don't need it anymore, you keep it. Oh, and take these too!" Kibo threw out a few Weak Panacea and Ju-Jutsu Removal Pills.

Sarutobi wanted to thank Kibo, but he didn't know how he could repay what the boy was giving him. He was beginning to think the Heavens had sent this boy to help him and his village.

"No, after the medical Nin Finish with studying them, I will return it," Sarutobi said with a sad expression. As much as he wanted it, he couldn't just take such precious items from Kibo without anything in return.

That's when Kibo looked over his shoulder and waved his hand before saying, "That's alright! I can get more and I'm not planning on losing any more limbs."

A murderous aura surrounded him that made the Hokage stumble.

"Danzo you've really done it now." Sarutobi sighed and shook his head, "This kid is gonna kill you!"
