1 CH1 Old Ending and New Beginning

(Author note: I know this first chapter is extremely similar to Journey Towards Greatness's beginning, but keep in mind that it's the reason why I started this story because I saw and thought about things I would like to add and make the MC op)

In a hospital room, there is a dying old man lying on a bed with eyes staring at the ceiling and thinking about his life and what could have been.

Antares 'My name is Antares an Ex war veteran, today I turned 85 and I can feel death coming for me, slowly creeping up behind and laying its hands on my shoulders but I have no regrets even though my life was once a hell participating in war all the killing I had always haunted me, it had turned me into stone and just like stone that had no feeling so did I but life didn't give up on me I met a women and fell in love, I married her after the war and had a child I ended but retiring from from a bullet wound in my spine and stomach, my son soon grew up into a perfect man found a beautiful wife for himself and had a son, that day was the happiest day of my life when I carried my grandson, as years past my grandson grew and we spent a lot of time together, he forced me to watch different anime's and cartoons with him and soon grew used to it in fact, I started to liking it we both loved Pokémon and we used to argue about which Pokémon games or series was better. I laugh at myself thinking how funny that an old man arguing with his grandson with about anime and video games but I didn't feel ashamed because I started to live my childhood which I never had, I always thought that God didn't exist when I was young but after experiencing life and everything that it had given me I believe even if God doesn't show himself to us, he is still watching over us all guiding us.

Antares 'Sigh being alone in a hospital room is extremely boring laying or sitting in bed not able to do anything and doesn't help that this pain in my fucking spine is killing me'

Antares 'I wonder when my grandson will come to vist me, he said he said he would visit me after his school day was over, it's going to be another long boring I guess I'll just sleep until he gets here'

As soon as I closed my eyes i was suddenly surrounded by darkness and I was slowly losing consciousness I suddenly started cursing to myself.

Antares 'Fucking death can't even let me see my family one last time'

After I died I felt nothing but it's still weird that I could still think I than started to freak out but suddenly everything turned White and infront of me there stood a middle age smiling, I took a minute to calm myself down.

Antares "May I know who you are?"

God "Some call me God, some call me The creator but it's up to you to decide who I am to you"

After listening to him Antares was shocked to his core, he started to question himself and then looked at the man before him, no matter how much he thought he only had one answer.

Antares 'Yes I am dead and God is standing infront of me'

Antares suddenly went to his knee infront of him.

Antares "Thank you, Lord for granting me a good life"

God "Rise, I don't need your thank you I am happy that you don't blame me for giving you a cruel start, there are very few souls and being alike that are similar to you"

Antares "I wouldn't dare accuse you of anything"

God "I am quite happy today so I will grant you a second life with three wishes to go with it"

Antares was really excited to hear what God said even though he is an old man getting the chance to live again is very tempting, he started to think what should he wish about and finally he made a decision.

Antares "Lord for my first wish is to be reincarnated into the universe of pokémon, in the Kanto region"

Antares "My second wish is to have my memories of my past life with me"

Antares "My third wish is to have a overpowered Ultimate AI Cheat System"

Antares had carefully thought about his wishes, he didn't want to take the risk so he had asked for his memories to be intact a AI system was needed for him to look at pokémon stat's, the cheat system because he wanted to be overpowered and it to be the Ultimate System because he wanted the best.

Hearing my wishes God smiled.

God "You are clever, for wishing your memories to be intact, many people forget such a crucial aspect and have been reincarnated without there memories"

God "Now I will ask you how do you want to be reincarnated? Do you want to start as a baby or do you want me to create a body for you and send you there? If you choose the second option you can choose any one starter pokémon you want for the start of your journey"

Of course Antares chose the second option as any reasonable person will do the same.

God "So you choose the second option, good."

Suddenly a screen appears infront of Antares, he looks at the scream and realize that he can make his body the way he wants it to be, seeing this he become happy and started shaping his body, he chose a slender muscular body exactly the same a Sung Jin Woo from Solo Leveling, he set his age at 18, height 6.2 feet, blue eyes, white/ silver hair and made his little brother 10 inches, after that there was a section of starter pokémon he browsed through it and selected Fennekin because even though he really like it's final evolution he loved foxes and he liked the Magician ability, after he finished designing everything he looked at God, then he suddenly remembered something.

Antares "Lord, how does the timeline work in the pokémon universe?"

God "Ah I almost forgot to inform you as the planet which you are going to reincarnate is 100 times bigger than your previous planet so 1 year in your new world will be 10 years in your previous world and the elements in your new world is so rich that people tend to live a very long life and grow slowly, that's why you don't see Ash become old"

After listening to him Antares though that if his previous world had the same concept he would have lived up to 800 years on average.

Antares "Lord I am really"

God "Good, may you enjoy your new life to the fullest"

He said and waved his hand, suddenly a portal open under Antares and sucked him in before he knew it and than he became uncomfortable and difted away towards his new world.
