Chapter 56

The tension in the wide dome, which comes from Esdeath's immerse presence, immediately disappeared as soon as the man who has not said or show any emotion till now answered Esdeath's question.

"I desire a new world different from this world. And, I will create that world with my own hand even if I were to lose everything I have now. My name is Monkey D. Dragon and letting me live will do both of us good because I can help you in your cause." (Dragon)

"*eyes widen* Monkey D. Dragon, you say?!" (Esdeath)

*shin* *shin* *shin* *BOOOM*

Esdeath did not had the time to finished her question as the right side wall of the dome was cut apart before broking down from the kick of a woman who is holding a naginata. At the same time Esdeath heard the cutting sound, she has already freeze Dragon in ice till his neck. And, while freezing the dust and broken parts of the walls in the air, Esdeath says to the one who just arrived before her.

"It is okay Izumi. It didn't take you that much to reach here, huh? Crossing more than 3.5 km long cave in under 5 minutes, *whistle*. As expected of you." (Esdeath)

"I come here as quick as I can when I felt your Haki burst but, glad to see you are okay, Captain." (Izumi)

"Well, I would not say okay for other people though. Why not help them?" (Esdeath)

Izumi just shrug her shoulder at Esdeath's relaxing tone like she is just working out in the morning. And, as gestured by Esdeath, Izumi immediately took the ten subordinates and leave them at a safe distance, prompting Esdeath to release her DF ability on the broken debris. The debris broke again and taking a seat on one of the bigger block, Esdeath asks Izumi while pointing at Dragon with a smirk,

"We got ourselves quite a catch today. Who do you think he is, Izumi?" (Esdeath)

"Hmm. This cloth is in the way." (Izumi)

Spinning her naginata quickly, she destroyed Dragon's hood without hurting a strand of his hair and the face she saw underneath makes her widen her eyes. She remembered the drawn faces of the people Embra said to recruit if possible and this man's face was at the top of the list. His face may look young now but, she remembers it as his and blurts his name out while still surprised,

"Monkey D. Dragon?!" (Izumi)

Dragon raises an eyebrow at Izumi who seems like she knows him. But, he does nothing more and waits for Esdeath's words. he is prepared to fight for his life if the situation ask for it but, seeing that there is no longer killing intent in Esdeath or Izumi, he relaxes a bit but, he does not let his guard down a bit yet. Receiving the gazes from both Izumi and Dragon, Esdeath finally spoke after clapping her hand.

"Izumi, I think we can recruit him but, what do you think?" (Esdeath)

"Hm... Hmph!" (Izumi)

Izumi's respond to Esdeath's question was to swing her naginata at Dragon's eyes, like she is intending to blind both of his eyes but, her weapon returns to her hand and there is no scratch on Dragon's face or his eyes. Rather, Dragon is not fazed a bit and still looking straight at Izumi. Seeing those eyes, which hold confidence and authority, Izumi smirks a bit which Esdeath understood quickly. Still sitting, Esdeath hold up two finger while saying straight to Dragon's eyes,

"Two things. There are two things I want you to do. Do that and I will let you live. Rather, I will even provide you financially and other supports till you are self-sufficient. You can do whatever you want as long as it is to overthrown WG and C.D. And, I won't care anything you say or do, as long as you don't touch us. What do you say?" (Esdeath)

Dragon hesitates a bit as the offer is too good to be true but, it was just for a second. A second later, there is no hesitation in his eyes anymore as he is determined that, this is the opportunity to get what he wants.

"What are those two things?" (Dragon)

Smirking, Esdeath tells him while letting out a bit of her haoshouku haki to tell him that, she is serious.

"I heard there is a treasure in Mariejois which can find anyone's location without too much price. Do you know what it is?" (Esdeath)

"...The eyes of Argus?" (Dragon)

"Oh. SO you know of it. That makes it easy. First thing I want you to do is to destroy some artifacts, treasures or such which can find yours or ours location and find our secrets in a short time. Along with that, there is a person in Cp-0 who is good at hunting. Take him out too. That is first thing you have to do." (Esdeath)

"..." (Dragon)

Dragon was silent for a bit as he was thinking a bit but, he soon answers as he is already prepared for it which makes Esdeath and Izumi impressed.

'I see, So, she is thinking the same way as I do. I was also planning to destroy that treasure before I left WG. I had already prepared for it, anyway.' (Dragon's thought)

"I was planning to do that before I left WG. If they are there, they can find my position. So, I planned to destroy before I betray them." (Dragon)

"Haha. It is the first time, I have met someone like you. Good. I won't ask your motives because I can see that they are genuine and I frankly don't care as long as we have same goal. So, second thing. Second thing is something that is troubling us. So, I want you to solve that." (Esdeath)

It did not take the smart guy like Dragon to what Esdeath means because he got his position in WG because of his intelligence and strength. So, he asks after thinking what she will ask,

'I see. Quantity over Quality, huh? Oh right, she owns Alba newspaper. So, she may uses this fact against WG. That is quite frightening in return.' (Dragon's thought)

"I agree to both your conditions." (Dragon)

"Good. Glad to work with you, Dragon. Then share some information with us. Where is it, that new army? How many are there? Tell us as much as you know" (Esdeath)

Esdeath release the ice encasing around Dragon and asks him some questions that can surprise Embra. While she is doing that, Izumi is noting them down on a notepad and after they are done with it, they begins to walks around the cave which has 4 km in radius. They found many labs and test experiments of Dr.Vegapunk but together with hundreds of knocked out scientists, they are not interested in them because their target was the theory of 'Lineage Factor' which Vegapunk and Judge found. Of course, they found many other theories and test results. So, Esdeath decided to pack all the papers in the labs while the eighteen subordinates are also looting the lab empty. Because of the size of the lab, they had to ask for help from the subordinates of Grayfia who are waiting them in three submarines not faraway from the Blue Island.

After four hours, they have gathered every valuable things in the labs and loaded onto the submarines. So, the last thing to do here is to decide whether she should let hundreds of scientists, Judge and Vegapunk live or not.

'Vegapunk is dangerous but, he would be good if he works for us. Should I let him live? ... Hm, A man who would not hesitate to use the living human should not be spared, right? Alright. Let's kill them both.' (Esdeath's thought)

After deciding that she is going to kill both of them, she again think of whether it is right for them to die peacefully. In the end, she decided to keep them tied and leave them on the island so that, they may live or die will be left to fate. No one disagree with her decision and a few minutes after they left the island, Esdeath turns to Dragon,

"Now, before I beat you half-death, why not show your power a bit on the island?" (Esdeath)

"... Fine" (Dragon)

Letting him go unharmed would be the worst decision they could make. So, they have to beat up dragon half-dead before they part ways but, before they do that, Esdeath was curious a bit about Dragon's power. So, she asks him to do it, who agreed after some thinking. he jumped into the air and takes the sky before his body begins to light up a bit and change his body into that of four legged western dragon which surprised the people watching. With dark green scale covered, huge western dragon opens his eyes before looking up at the night sky. Clouds begins to gather above the Blue island where Vegapunk's lab was and lightning become to swim in those clouds before expanding to cover the whole island.

"Oh. So, he can control weather, huh? Humu he would do a good job at maintaining the weather above Agartha, though. It is a shame he is not coming with us." (Esdeath)

Dragon heard Esdeath's light comment but, he neglected it and do a motion of swinging down with his dragon arm. Huge thunderbolt strike the island with loud roaring and wind become to blow wildly and it escalated to storms which are razing the whole island along with the lighting.

"Should I say as expected of a dragon? He is powerful normally and with that DF, he would be fathomable if he were an enemy. But," (Izumi)

"Yep. It has been five minutes. He is taking too long. I don't know whether he is deliberately doing that, but, Sigh, how about you and I sent out one attack, too?" (Esdeath)

"Agreed." (Izumi)

They enjoys the show quite a bit but, they could not waits for more as someone may come because of these loud noises. So, they need to escape here by destroying the island quick. Having decided that, they will send one attack to the island, Izumi takes the air while Esdeath just raise her sword above her head.

"Breath of Ice, Fifth form, sea of Ice" (Esdeath)

"Breath of wind, 2nd form, Chaotic thrust" (Izumi)

Esdeath swings down her sword, sending out a huge 30 meter tall sword wave towards the island while Izumi send out rapid spear thrust from the air to the various part of the island. Their attack reach the island and break it apart. Esdeath's attack split the island to 75% while freezing the surrounding of the sword wave. Th hundreds of thrusts from the air broke the various parts of the island and combined with Esdeath's attack, the whole island literally broke apart.

A few minutes later Dragon landed on the submarine, impressed at the two women's power. But, he has things to do. So, he breaths out a bit to prepare for a beating from the two. Esdeath sees him relaxing and ready her fist before saying,

"If you become a M after this, don't blame me. Oh yah, remember this too. The number is ..." (Esdeath)

Aster telling him to remember the number to her den-den-mushi on the spot, the beating begins with Esdeath's fist and Dragon was played like a toy between Esdeath and Izumi whose attacks are broking or cracking his bone and before end, he was slashed three times by both of them before being kicked out to the far distance that, he thought his ribs are broken a little. On the submarine, Izumi says with worries while shaking her hands which were hitting dragon earlier,

"None of us used Haki but, his body is still strong, huh? I wonder, will he survive?" (Izumi)

"Well, Zoan users are rumored to have huge stamina and vitality. So, there should not be a thing to worry. Moreover, he is a dragon, remember? So, he would live probably." (Esdeath)

"I really hope he do." (Izumi)

Taking a last look at the destroyed island and the direction Dragon was sent to, the two enters the submarine. The worries of Dragon surviving or not has already disappeared from their mind. Meanwhile int he middle of the sea, Dragon is floating with the help of a broken tree, probably from the island,

"I didn't chose a wrong side, right? *Ouch* Three ribs, two bones on arms and two bones in my legs. A sore muscle in the whole body, bloody face, dislocated right arm and broken left arm, in just a minute. *sigh* Well, it makes it easier to explain things to those five fossils." (Dragon)

Stranded alone in the middle of sea, Dragon fervently wishes that, someone found him already while fixing himself as best as he can and try to survive till help arrive. This time, WG lost a big support. Their most brilliant scientist, Dr.Vegepunk was killed and his lab was completely destroyed. Moreover, the newly created Cp-0 who is sent out to investigate the new technology of Dr.Vegapunk and Judge, was destroyed with only one of them barely alive. This event become famous again as 'the executioner's rampage' in North Blue and her bounty rose again.

(AN: And, this is it, folks. This is the last chapter. I no longer have time to continue writing this.

I am officially broke. Homeless and fucked. I had to sell the laptop. I will save the file on Google drive but, I don't know when I will be able to write again. So, I will be uploading every fanfic I have written in these three years.

They are incomplete. So..., yeah, sorry. My bad.
