Fuji's Plan

After every training session with Dai-sensei, we would sit around and speak about various topics such as food, wars, and training. Out of curiosity, I asked about the missions he undertakes, and what I discovered was that his missions are becoming increasingly dangerous as time passes due to conflict between the five great villages.

Due to sensei being in his late twenties and is still a genin who can't use ninjutsu or Genjutsu. He is considered as less than a disposable pawn and now that the war between the nations is about to commence. most of his missions are acting as a diversion so that other Jonins or Anbu complete the mission. if sensei was as weak as the council thought then he would have already died.

Thinking about all the dangerous missions dai has gone to before the war even started, had me thinking about what missions will I go to in the war as a talentless shinobi. After these thoughts crossed my mind, I realized how naive I was thinking about hiding in the shadows and only show my talent in war. the most probable outcome that will happen if I went with my original plan is me dying on my first mission.

Even if I wanted to continue with my plan, I can't because any ninja worth his money can easily figure out I am not as simple as I appear to be, either from my muscles outlining my body or my huge amount of well-controlled chakra for a six-year-old. Thus after thinking about my predicament, I remembered the crystal ball the third Hokage uses to 'look' around the village.

I also once read in an article that he uses it to spy on the future generation of Konoha. He of course does this to know the worth and talent of the child and make sure he has the so-called 'will of fire'. After careful consideration, I decided to show my talent in the academy but I had to make some preparations first.

I went around the village trying to sense his spying and know his routine like when does he spy and where. due to me having talent in space ninjutsu I can feel even the tiniest piece of disruption in space and the crystal ball uses a type of fuinjutsu that interacts with space to spy on people.{ I don't know how the third Hokage's crystal ball work but this is my fanfic and for the sake of the plot that's how I made it work}

After weeks of searching and snooping around, I was able to find that he mostly uses in playgrounds. Knowing this the next day I went to the playground he spies on and sat on the grass waiting for him to start his daily routine. After 30 minutes of sitting around, I felt a tingly feeling at the back of my head and some type of inspection waves going around me in space.

At that time I was 5 years old and the academy was starting real soon so the moment I felt him using the crystal ball I temporarily leak a bit of my chakra. it was a very tiny bit but I can feel the Hokage's preception focusing on me. After doing that I ran to the forest to show him my speed and make him focus even more because the next part is delicate and can't have him miss it.

Reaching the training grounds I began my physical and chakra control training while muttering cringy things like 'i must become stronger to protect Konoha and its people' or 'Konoha is my family that I must give my life for if need be'. This continued for 1 month with me repeating those phrases to show Sarutobi Hiruzen my so-called 'Will Of Fire'. After one month I started to sense Anbu following my every move. I of course acted oblivious and continued the same routine.

Two months later I felt that the Anbu completed their objective and never followed me again. I believe they were monitoring and checking my background to know if I'm a real Konoha citizen and not some spy. They also checked my talent because I could feel a sensor-type ninja with a byakugan inspecting my body and chakra.' damn those perverted eye freaks' i thought at that time.

One month before the academy starts. I was cooking some fish I got from the river when I sensed someone coming closer. Looking in his direction I waited for some time before an old man with a smoking pipe came from the bushes. 'heh well if it ain't the third Hokage-Sama himself' although he was using the transformation jutsu and is wearing civilian clothes. I can easily tell he is the Hokage just from his smoking pipe and the dangerous feeling he is giving off.

Smiling at him as a child would, I said with enthusiasm "Ya hungry old man come I will share one with you"

In a fake grandfatherly smile, the professor himself replies "Thank you child" handing him a wooden stick with a slightly charred fish skewered in it. " there you go old man" he takes it and just hns at me before asking "what is your name and What are you doing here in the middle of the forest kid"

"Oh me, I am fuji an orphan, I come here to train as the orphanage is no place to train in," I say with a happy expression. "ooh and why do you train, instead of playing with kids your age at the playground."

"I train because I need to become strong enough to protect my family" I reply with eyes full of determination.

"But didn't you say you were an orphan what family are you talking about kid" The Hokage further question while slightly tilting his head in confusion.'augghh it would have been cute if it was a beautiful woman but with your wrinkly old ass it's just disgusting'.

Not letting my thought appear on my face I answer with " no-no old man you got it all wrong my family is the entirety of Konoha" while waving my hands around as if insinuating how wrong he is. From the corner of my eyes, I can see his smile widen a bit before going back to normal. Afterward, he just had a normal talk before he excused him self saying he has work to do.

'heh mission accomplished' i smirk in my mind before putting out the fire and returning to the orphanage with a genuinely happy smile on my face.
