9 Chapter 9. First day of the Academy

The Uzamaki family was visited by the Uchiha police force later the next day. They had received some complaints of Sora and Naruto attacking the group of girls. Sora ended up taking full responsibility and offered to have the Yamanaka family search his memories for a report.

The Uchiha police didn't seem to want to cause even more trouble so they asked Sora and Naruto to try to keep a distance from the other group. They left soon after assuring that they would speak to the girls about assaulting another villager. None of the girls or their parents had offered to have their minds searched like Sora had, so the police force were leaning more on his version of events.

3 years later

Three years had passed since the park incident. Very few cases of bullying popped up after Sora declaration at the park. The few incidents that happened Sora dealt with swiftly. He had to beat a few kids up for tricking Naruto into doing dangerous things.

One of the children told Naruto that he had dropped something important to his family in a fast moving river. One of the Hokages anbu had been able to save Naruto, but he came down with a bad fever afterwards. Sora found the kid who did it and dragged him to the same river.

He broke the kids arms and legs and told him he'd throw him into the river for what he'd done. The kid had been so terrified that he had wet himself before fainting. Sora let go of the kid and started to walk away.

"If there's an anbu here then please take this kid to the hospital. But tell them not to use healing Jutsus on the kid."

Academy classroom

Sora was sitting in class early in the morning while trying to stay awake while the other children started filing into the room. Sora watched as everyone started grabbing seats. 'Sakura next to Sasuke, Choji with Shikamaru, Ino with... Whats she doing?'

Sora watched as Ino passed her group of friends and came to the back of the class. She took a seat next to Sora and smiled at him. "Good morning Sora."

He didn't expect her to want to sit with him. He'd actually been giving her the cold shoulder since she'd insulted Naruto, but she never seemed to mind it. He assumed she was still into Sasuke or liked the challenge. 'Maybe she actually likes people who play hard to get?'

"Awwwe... Are you still ignoring me Sora-kun?" She looked kind of embarrassed and annoyed at the same time.

Sora was a little confused at that comment. 'Have I actually been ignoring her? I know I haven't really talked to her, but I wasn't putting in effort not to.'

Ino saw the confused look and a Cheshire cat grin spread across her face. She scooted a little closer to Sora. "Come on Sora. Talk to me?"

Soras face reddened somewhat at the close proximity while he did his best to think straight. "We can talk, but I haven't been ignoring you. I've just been busy."

"Oh... What have you been up to Sora-kun?"

Sora was about to give an answer when Irina senses came into the class and called for order. Sora sighed in relief as Iruka introduced himself to the class.

"Hello class. My name is Iruka. You can call me Iruka sensei or just sensei." Iruka watched as all the children nodded along.

"Our first day will be a series of physical tests and a sparring match against your fellow students." The class became agitated at those words and Iruka noticed two students who seemed to be arguing about who would be the top scoring student.

'Those two are so competitive that their competing in a regular physical exam. There are no scores for these tests.' Iruka smiled as he awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

The class soon calmed down and Iruka led them to the training grounds. The children were led through some tough physical exercises to gage their stamina. By the end of the class only a few students seemed to have stamina that reached the academies standards.

Iruka led the children to the side of the training area where a giant chalk circle was drawn into the dirt. "We'll do this in one on one fights. The first person to go out of the ring or forfeits loses. I will stand by as a referee. No Jutsu or genjutsu is allowed."

Iruka separated the children and had them enter the ring two at a time to spar. Sora watched the opening fights, but was not very impressed. Most of the girls didn't want to fight, Shikamaru tried to give up the first chance he got until Iruka sensei gave him a scolding, and the girls of the class kept rooting for Sasuke a little to much.

Sora had to face two civilian kids and ended up fighting Choji in the third round. Sora quickly made a blow to the boys neck and knocked him unconscious. The next round Sasuke and Naruto fought. Naruto was a little stronger thanks to Soras help, but he was still against training for some reason.

After exchanging some blows Sasuke threw Naruto from the ring while he wasn't expecting it. Iruka sensei called the match and had Sora enter the ring. "This will be the final match. Are you both ready?"

"Yes Iruka sensei." Sora made the gesture of recomciliation as he waited for the match to start.

At Sasukes nod Iruka gave the signal to start. Sasuke immediately ran up to Sora and started throwing a combo of punches before bending low to the ground to try to kick Sora in the face.

Sora dodged or deflected most of the punches and when he saw the kick coming he leaned away from Sasukes leg while lightly kicking his other leg. Sasuke crashed to the ground before jumping back up.

He jumped into the air and tried to throw a few kicks while Sora just avoided them. When Sasuke was about to land back on the ground Sora took a step forwards and threw out a right kick to Sasukes stomach. Sasuke went tumbling out of the ring signaling Soras victory.
