8 Chapter 8. Confrontation

The next day while at the park Naruto was playing with Choji and Shikamaru. Apparently the boys were grounded the previous day for breaking curfew. Sora had come with Naruto again in case Sasuke showed up to play.

Kushina was talking with a few other moms while Sora was sitting beneath a tree and reading a scroll about hand signs. He was busy reading when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to see a pretty blond girl with blue eyes staring at him.

"Hi. My names Ino. Whats your name?"

"Hi Ino. My names Sora." He started to put away the scroll when it caught Inos eye.

"Whats that?"

'Wow. She's bright.' "Its a scroll on hand signs for Justus." Sora watched as her face brightened.

"Your interested in becoming a shinobi!?"

"I am actually. I've already begun working on my Chakra control, but I'm not allowed to practice Jutsu until I join the academy."

"So you can't show me any Jutsus?" Inos excitement had taken a sharp dive at this news.

"I'm afraid not. I can keep you company though?"

Ino nodded as she sat next to Sora. "I was supposed to play with Shikamaru and Choji today, but they wanted to play a boys game. That and their playing with the demon kid."

Sora instantly got annoyed with Ino at the mention of Naruto. He stood up and started to walk away. "Hey wait!" Ino stood and ran after him. He stopped as she caught up and grabbed his arm. "Where are you going? I thought you were going to keep me company?"

She noticed that Soras face had darkened as he turned to her. "Naruto is my brother. Not only did you insult him, but you also called him a demon. I want nothing to do with someone who judges others without knowing them."

Sora shrugged off her arm and walked to the other side of the park. 'Damn. Its so hard to keep my emotions in check lately. System do you know what the reason might be?'

*Do to host merging with previous soul host has gained many of the previous souls mannerisms. Previous soul seems to have anger issues stemming from abuse.*

'Great... So not only am I about to hit puberty in a few years, but I've also got anger issues.' Sora sighed as he kept walking.

"Hey kid." Sora looked to the left and noticed Sasuke approaching him. Sora waved to him as he walked up.

"Sup Sasuke? Did you take me up on my offer to play with my brother?" Sasuke nodded as he looked around the playground for a moment.

"Thats him over there with the blonde spiky hair and the goofy grin." Sora pointed out Naruto to Sasuke.

"He looks like he's already playing with some kids."

Sora could tell Sasuke seemed a little nervous so he decided to help him out. He grabbed Sasukes shoulder and put a hand to his mouth. "HEY NARUTO!!! COME HERE FOR A MINUTE!!!"

Naruto stopped in place while almost falling down. He turned and saw his brother with a younger boy with black hair. He ran to the two and stopped in front of them while he tried to catch his breath.

"Whats up big brother?"

"Naruto this is Sasuke. Sasuke meet Naruto. I told Sasuke that you were looking for more friends to play with. So he came to play too."

Narutos eyes shined for a moment before he asked. "Do you know how to play shinobi?"

Three hours later

Sora had finished his hand signs scroll and had started watching the others play. The kids had gotten bored of playing shinobi, so Sora had taught them how to play freeze tag.

The kids were still running around within a now larger group while playing. The game had caught on very quickly with the children in the park. As they were playing Sora noticed a large group of girls walking into the park.

Their was a group of 10 girls all walking into the park while looking around. Sora noticed a head of pink hair in the group so he got up from his sitting place and started following the girls while they talked.

"I told you he was really here."

"Why would he come here though?"

"Yeah this park is lame."

"Look! He's playing with the demon."

A scowl grew on Soras face at that girls comment. "Didn't his parents tell him not to go around that boy? My mom and dad said to stay away from him." Sakura sounded worried about her crushs safety.

"Maybe they forgot to tell him. We should do something."

The other girls started to nod at this comment and huddled up to have a private Conversation. Sora went to tell Kushina and commented about how late it was getting. Kushina decided to go tell the other mom bye while Sora went to get Naruto.

Sora was half way back to Narutos group and could see that they were in a heated discussion with Narutos group. Sasuke especially looked annoyed. Sora started to speed up a little when one of the girls threw a rock and hit Naruto in the head.

Naruto fell to the ground and the other girls started pelting him with more rocks as he started crying. Sora pushed Chakra through his body and appeared in front of Naruto faster than he thought possible.

The girls continued throwing rocks for a moment before stopping. Sora had been hit a few times and was bleeding from his arms and head. "You dare attack my little brother in front of me!!!"

The group of girls all flinched as Sora spoke. They all looked panicked as Sora took a step forwards. "If you can dish out pain than you should be able to take it."

The girls started to become restless when Sora disappeared and reappeared in front of one of the girls with a fist to her face. The girl was thrown to the ground from the punch and was unconscious.

The other girls screamed as Sora went through them. He kicked, punched, and headbutt all the girls one by one before they could try to run away. He stopped at the last girl. She was shaking with fear as Sora walked up to her.

"Whats your name!?" The girl seemed to scared to talk so he repeated himself.

"Sakura Haruno." The girl closed her eyes like she was getting ready to be hit.

"Your the only one who didn't throw a rock." She peeked at the boy before she nodded.

"I won't hurt you since you didn't provoke me, but you came with them so I'm gonna make you give them a message from me."

Sakura nodded with relief until she head his next words. "Naruto is not a demon. He's a kid. Tell them this is their one warning. Anyone who harms my little brother will pay the price. If anyone goes to far then I will show them what a true demon is."

Sakura nodded and fell to her knees as she shook. Sora turned and grabbed Naruto before leaving with a mothering Kushina.
