2 Chapter 2. Kekkai Genkai

1 month after meeting Kushina

Sora was sitting after practicing his Chakra control and shuriken practice. 'I've decided system. I want my Kekkai Genkai to be a time based one. I want the ability to set my bodys time so that I can reset any damage and I'd like to be able to use it on others as well.'

'WHAT!!! So if I don't have enough Chakra then it will use my own lifespan?'

'Shit. I should have thought of the downsides of such a powerful kekkai genkai. I guess I'll just have to increase my Chakra stores and maybe become a jinchuriki at some point. How may times can I use it in a day system.'

'Damn. System open the shop and tell me how much the Uzumaki bloodline costs.'

"Haaah... I guess I'm gonna have to do some more quests, but at least I have an idea on that."

Sora stood up and walked into the village for the first time in a month. He navigated the village until he came upon the Hokages building. He entered and asked a secretary if he could speak with the Hokage.

"I'm sorry, but the Hokage is a very busy man. I don't know if he'll have time to meet with you today."

Sora was a little annoyed with this secretary for trying to turn him away, but decided to try his luck. "That's okay. I can wait and if he ends up having a minute I'll be here."

Sora went and took a seat on the floor near the door and started doing some more Chakra training as he waited.

After training his Chakra sora stood up and stated to do what little physical exercises he could in the small waiting room. He switched between training his body and Chakra until late evening. As he was training his Chakra control he nodded off and fell asleep to the amusement of the secretary.

Hours later Minato exited the Hokage office to dismiss his secretary when he noticed the small boy sleeping in the corner. "Oh. Whos this little guy?"

The secretary stood and bowed to Minato. "Lord Fourth, he says his name is Sora and he wanted to speak with you. I told him about you being busy as you had all that excess paperwork that needed attending to, so he decided to wait while he trained."

'Hmmm... I wonder if this is the same Sora that Kushina has been talking about for the past month. He matches her descriptions. "How long has he been here."

"He arrived around 10 A.M. Lord Fourth and hasn't left yet."

"I see." Minato walked over and woke Sora up with a gentle shake.

"Hmmm..." Sora opened his eyes and Minato could have sworn he saw a glimpse of recognition flash through his eyes.

"You came to see me Sora-kun?"

Sora rubbed his eyes with one hand as he stood and nodded his head. "Yes Lord Fourth. I have a request if its not to much trouble."

"Okay. Come on in to my office." As Minato and Sora entered the office Minato waved to his secretary to let her know to go home.

After entering they both took a seat and Sora asked his request. "Would it be possible for me to do missions even though I'm not a shinobi yet?"

"I'm sorry Sora, but missions are far to dangerous for people who haven't even been to the academy yet. I know you might have heard that they pay well, but they only pay that well because there's always a chance the shinobi won't make it back."

'I see. So Kushina told him about my living arrangements and now he's worried that I'll take on a deadly mission without training.' Sora looked contemplative before answering.

"But I heard there were some missions that shinobi don't want to do. Like catching missing cats, painting fences, or other things that might be below a ninjas pay grade. Would it be possible for me to do those kinds of missions?"

Minato had a surprised face as he contemplated this. "I suppose it wouldn't be a problem, but I won't allow any dangerous missions or one that are outside Konahas walls."

"Deal."

Sora had a happy expression on his face as Minato handed over 5 scrolls. "All of these are the lowrst ranking missions that are currently available."

Sora picked them all up with an bright smile. "Can I take all of them and do them one by one?"

Minato sighed before nodding his head to the idea. "As long as you can complete them, if I think your slacking or get complaints then I'll make you wait until you become a shinobi to do missions."

"Yes Lord Fourth!"

Sora ran from the room with a huge smile. He runs through the village while he laughs at the systems message in front of him.
