Good Times

Sasuke threw out the hardest kick he could manage, and Naruto ducked under it like it was moving in slow motion. Sasuke had long been pushed to use his sharingan against Naruto in the spar, but nothing he was trying was working, Naruto had years of experience fighting a stronger opponent who had the same visual ability.

Naruto swept Sasuke's leg out from under him, and dropped an axe kick down on his stomach. Sauske began to heave, and cough while Naruto took his place opposite, and made the sign of peace.

"I won't lose next time." Sasuke grumped while marching away from the sparring ring. Haruko was called up next to go against Hinata.

"How's it going princess?" Haruko asked while making the sign of peace.

"I'm getting better." She spoke softly but with a confidence Haruko had seen growing in her.

She made the sign of peace, and the spar ensued. She approached Haruko, and began her string of taijutsu, trying to nail his chakra points. Harujo dodged each strike at the last second as possible to increase her confidence further. Hinata seemed to have lost her fear of causing pain, or she knew she couldn't hurt Haruko so she was going all out. Chakra filled her palm, and heavy bellows rained down upon Haruko, who sidestepped, and deftly avoided each hit, while parrying the occasional blow. Haruko ended the match by tripping, and binding her to the ground. He stood, and bowed, making the sign of peace. She returned the gesture.

"Naruto, Haruko. Finish off the class with a show. The rest of you pay attention! These two have no great clan backing them! They are orphans who lost everything, and in spite of that excelled, and strive for greatness. They are the standard, and they embody the will of fire better than most I've seen come through these halls!"

Iruka gave a rousing speech, and fully intended to use the two as an example for the rest. Naruto eagerly entered the stage full of confidence. Haruko trudged his way back up the stage.

Naruto leaned in "You're not going to use your real abilities here, which means I have the advantage. Without your armor, and weapon, and ninjutsu, and genjustsu there's no way you can beat me!"

"You're getting too cocky, Naruto."

Naruto smirked, made the sign, and rushed in. Haruko deflected the fist tossed at him before planting his foot in the center of Naruto's stomach, and flinging him away. Naruto skidded to the edge of the arena, and rushed back in. A flurry of kicks were exchanged with no clear winner as they were going pound for pound at this point. Haruko had his own sharingan activated, and using it matched each of Naruto's moves perfectly. Sasuke's eyes widened as this was his first time seeing Haruko's eyes. Anger, and confusion welled up inside him.

Naruto was clearly getting frustrated as he was ramping up the power of his moves to be as strong as physically possible. The air itself was distorting, and the noise from their clashes created miniature booms each time they met. The class was in awe as Naruto had never shown his true capabilities, but they were even more shocked by Haruko's eyes, and his ability to perfectly match Naruto.

"Iruka Sensei! Can I use ninjutsu!?!" Naruto called out

"NO!" Iruka shouted back.

"What's the matter, Naruto? I thought you had me beat? No contest? Didn't you say there was no way I could beat you?"

Haruko continued to taunt while meeting each of Naruto's moves with a mirror. Changing pace, Haruko met one of Naruto's kicks, and tossed out a leaf whirlwind, suddenly kicking Naruto in his side, and sending him flying off the arena.

Haruko walked off the stage calmly, and more than a few of the girls cheered for him.

"Alright class, after that bout we're ending the day. See all of you tomorrow!" Iruka shouted out while heading inside. Haruko helped Naruto up to his feet, and the two laughed while heading off. Sasuke quickly ran after them, and forcefully pulled on Haruko's clothes, which earned him a swift flip onto his back.

"What the hell man? Don't grab me like that."

Haruko admonished Sasuke while literally looking down on him.

"Why do you have those eyes!?!"

Sasuke all but screamed at Haruko from his position on the ground. He got back up to his feet, and glared daggers at Haruko.

"He was born with them, Sasuke." Naruto calmly explained while looking at Sasuke like he had two heads.

"You're not from my clan! There's no way you were born with them! You must have stolen them!"

"Believe what you want Sasuke, I might not have your hair, but I do have our eyes. I may not be pure blood like you, or your brother, but I do have Uchiha blood running through me."

"How? There's no record of anybody marrying outside of our clan!"

"How should I know? I'm an orphan, I don't know my parents. I was raised in the same Orphanage as that goofy blockhead."

"How long?"

"How long what, Sasuke?"

"How long have you had your sharingan?"

"How long has it been active? For as long as I can remember."

Sasuke hesitated for a moment, before asking "Can you teach me? I know we have our little spars in class, and at my home, but can you really teach me?"

"Can you let go of any preconceived notions of knowledge you think you have?"

"What?"

"Uh, right. If I teach you, you have to forget everything else you've been taught, and everything you think you know."

Sasuke blanked for a moment "Sure?"

'Fuck I keep forgetting their all kids still'

"Perfect, meet you at your place in a few hours."

"Okay."

Sasuke quickly left after that, and Naruto piped up. "Why did you agree?"

"I promised Itachi I'd look after him, besides If I don't, who knows who will try to take advantage of him?"

A brief image of a certain snake crossed his mind as shivers went down his spine. His eyes shot all around him, and he caught the faintest of shadow's disappearing.

'Speak of the devil, and he shall appear. Well looks like he's found me now. For some reason, I'm not all that bothered by it. He can't really do anything to me at this point anyway''

Little did Haruko know that Orochimaru was currently far away, getting his ass kicked by Itachi.
