A YOUTHFULL day

I woke up surprised, and hungry. No nightmare last night, and that felt really good. I might have had a mental breakdown if those kept up. Or did I have a mental breakdown? Only kind of. Naruto surprised, and amazed me yesterday. I didn't expect another four year old kid to be that understanding, or caring. He understood, and didn;t shy away when I explained everything. Not that He really got the chance to put his two cents in after all I did pass out from mental exhaustion by the end of my crying session. Sheesh since when was I a giant cry baby? Probably since forever in all reality. I was a pretty normal dude in my previous life. I had some bad things happen when I was younger, and in my teen years, but I got over it. I think. I gotta say I'm a little pissed at Keith. My mom ran away from us when I was six months old in my previous life, and in my new one I don;t even have a mom unless Orochimaru counts? Ugh I just threw up in my mouth. Whatever man I'm fucking starving.

I cooked up a heavy, and healthy breakfast of eggs, peppers, rice, blueberries, and Kale. Since kakashi is in charge of shopping I still haven't gotten to taste anything made by a real cook here. I'm dying to try Ichiraku ramen, and if I don't soon I may explode.

Naruto woke up from the smell of food, and lazily entered our kind of kitchen, kind of dining area, and plopped down at our little table waiting to be served, which I did happily as I doubt he ate since I didn't cook.

" Here you go bud, a whole feast since I didn't cook for you last night, and you probably starved since you can't cook. "

Naruto's eyes turned to stars as he took in all the food. " Don't worry about it Haru. I found a totally awesome ramen stand last night called Ichiraku's! "

I had never hit anybody quite as fast as I hit him in that moment, his head smacked against his rice as he looked at me with the most hurt expression.

" What was that for?? "

" You ate there without me? How could you! "

" I just found it last night! How could I have known you wanted to go too? "

" You just should have! Plus you know if Kakashi finds out you're going to have hell to pay for breaking our meal plan. "

" Maybe he won't find out! You didn't have to hit me hard enough to make my face bounce off my rice as well! "

" I'm sorry I got upset, and got carried away hehe. " With a wolfish grin I got my food, sat opposite to him, and began to eat. The food was as good as I could make it. Not amazing, but filling, and nutritious.

" After we finish we need to head to training ground 11. Kakashi said he had somebody for us to meet there. "

" Sounds good, lemme finish, and freshen up. Then we can head out. "

It didn't take me long to get ready, but I was a little apprehensive about facing Kakashi after my meltdown yesterday. It's not like I'm scared he will judge me, but I'm worried he might be too worried about me to really push me.

" Let's go slowpoke! "

" You can't rush perfection Naruto! "

" That's why you need to hurry up! "

" I'll kick your ass! "

" You'll have to hurry up then. "

Rushing to finish getting dressed I dashed out, and chased after him throughout the whole village. One of the perks about being trained so much at a young age, and having a ninja body was parkour! Something I always wanted to learn in my last life, but was much too lazy to. Not only that, but it was high speed parkour as we both had enhanced physiques. Since he was properly fed in this life he was much better built compared to the anime version of him. Now I could release my limiter, and use the sharingan to catch up easily, but that would feel like cheating as I'd rather build my technical skill before using my full power.

The race ended with him winning as I had no idea where training ground 11 was the little cheater.

Knock knock knock

" Hello? " A feminine voice answered the door, and a small child was hiding behind her legs.

" Hello there! My name is Might Guy, The prideful green beast of the hidden leaf! "

" Uh… Alright, is there something I can help you with? "

" Ah, Yes Ma'am you see I've had my eyes on that child behind you for some time. I heard he lacks any talent for being a ninja correct? "

" You're interested in Lee? " She took a step back, further hiding the child from the strange man.

" AH! Not like that, I assure you. You see, I specialize in taijutsu, and I don't believe in ever giving up your dreams! I'm here to lift Lee out of his funk, and help him become a ninja! "

" Oh that makes a lot more sense. You shouldn't say such misleading things. "

" I apologize madam. " A ashamed look crossed his face as he waited.

" Well, Lee, do you want to learn from this man to become a ninja? "

" He's kinda weird miss. "

" He is a bit weird, but he wants to help you. You want to become a ninja, and serve the village like your parents right? "

" You're not his mother? "

" No, his parents passed in the attack 4 years ago, his mom was my best friend, so I've been taking care of him as I live by myself. He's been a great help. "

" How YOUTHFULL! "

" Yes, but he is a Jonin. Learning under one from such a young age would be a great honor. "

" You're right, Miss. I shouldn't give up on my dream! Might Guy! Can you really help me become a ninja? "

" Without a doubt Lee. I am the leading expert in taijutsu, and I promise You'll become a great ninja one day! "

Lee was excited as he had the chance right now to live out his dream after the crushing realization a few days ago that he wouldn't be accepted into the academy due to his lack of talent.

Lee ran inside, and gathered a few things before dashing out the door.

" Bring him back safe Mr green beast. "

" I promise I will Miss. I'll come pick him up each morning, and return him each night. He will be exhausted when he returns so don't be too surprised if he falls asleep quickly. "

" Come Lee, your youth awaits! "

" How late will he be this time? " Naruto asked while kicking a rock.

" Wanna bet which excuse he uses? "

" Of course, I just spent all my money last night! " I gave him a deadpan look.

" So you're broke, and you're going to make a bet? You know if I win you're going to be poorer for longer right? "

" You won't win. " He smirked, and continued. " Cat excuse for sure 1500 ryo on it. "
