49 Final Exams.
[Next day after the "meet up"]
Kaito was aimlessly looking at the ceiling of his room silently. He was aware that the little meet up he had with Tsuyu yesterday was not a date, but he still considers it a memorable moment.
Kaito decided to call Mina to tell her that she's off the hook, for now.
"Kaito, wassup!?" Mina.
"Don't wassup me you, pinkish demoness! I called you to tell you that you're off the hook. However, if word about this is filtered to ANYONE else, ESPECIALLY Tsuyu...I don't really dare to say more, am I clear?" Kaito.
Mina, who's looking at a chat group on her phone with all the girls from class 1-A except Tsuyu, was sweating buckets like crazy.
"Sure! No problem at all, see you later I gotta go bye!!!" Mina.
Mina hung up the phone and Kaito had a feeling that things were going to go from bad to worst. Kaito took a bath, ate his breakfast and made his way towards UA.
After leaving home Kaito began to think about his sudden emotional changes. Since reincarnated as Kaito, he became more childish when he was a little kid and currently is feeling angry whenever his private life is being meddled.
He would feel these emotions as Kai, but here they've been amplified for some reason. Without putting more mind into the matter, Kaito simply made his way towards UA.
Kaito arrived at the school and saw Iida on the entrance.
"Hey, Iida." Kaito.
"Ah, Kaito-kun. As expected of you, arriving early to set an example!" Iida.
"Yeah, yeah, let's go to our classroom before Aizawa-sensei arrives, he gets grumpier the Mondays." Kaito.
"Does he?" Iida.
[Time skipping]
After a few classes, before lunch break, Aizawa gave an announcement.
"Okay, that's it for class. There's only one week left until the final exams. You all are studying properly, right? I'm sure you already know, but it won't just be a written exam. There's also a practical component. Make sure you train your minds and bodies at the same time. That's all." Aizawa.
Aizawa leaves the room and some students drop their fake façade.
"I haven't studied at all!" Mina/Kaminari. The 19th and 20th of the class respectively.
"With the sports festival and internship, I didn't study at all!" Kaminari.
"It's true that we had one event after another, but..." Tokoyami. 14th.
"For the midterms, we'd just started school, so they didn't cover much, so I didn't really have a hard time with them, but with the back-to-back events and stuff, the finals will be different..." Sato. 12th.
"It'll be tough since there's a practical exam, too." Mineta spoke with a smug look on his face. 9th.
"N-Ninth on the midterms?!" Mina/Kaminari.
"And here I thought you were one of us!" Mina.
"Guys like you are only bearable if they're dumb...! Who made a demand for this?!" Kaminari.
"The world, I guess." Mineta with his smug look.
'Perverts must be good in at least one thing besides perving, otherwise, they wouldn't have a single redeeming quality' Kaito thought to himself.
"Ashido, Kaminari! L-Let's do our best! We all want to go to the training camp together, right?" Midoriya. 4th.
"Yes! As vice-class rep, I also have high hopes that you'll all be moved to action!" Iida. 2nd.
"It's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class." Todoroki. 5th.
"Or if you're simply excellent at studying." Kaito. 1st.
"Be careful with your words!" Kaminari.
"Screw you Kaito! Not all of us have photographic memory!" Mina.
"Good, having to share the first place is not of my liking at all. Don't you agree, Momo?" Kaito.

Jiro overheard the conversation and joined in.
"I'm not one of those two, but can I join, too? I'm having some trouble with some equations..." Jiro. 7th.
"Huh?" Momo.
"Sorry, me too! How are you with classical Japanese?" Sero. 17th.
"Huh?" Momo.
"I'd like to join, too. There's a bunch of stuff I don't get..." Ojiro. 8th.
"Please!" Jiro/Sero/Ojiro.
"Everyone! Yes, of course!" Momo. She looks quite happy.
"All right!" The trio.
"Then, let us hold a study session at my residence this weekend!" Momo.
"Seriously? I can't wait to see your house!" Mina.
"Oh, in that case, I must tell Mother and have her open up the hall!
'Hall?!' Jiro/Kaminari.
"What kind of tea are you all partial to?" Momo.
'Tea?!' Sero/Ojiro.
"In my family, we always drink Harrod's or Wedgwood, so if you have any preference, let me know. Of course, you can trust me to help you study, too! I will definitely show you how I can help!" Momo.
'--It's like she casually slapped me with the huge difference in how we were born...' The quintet of Kaminari, Jiro, Mina, Ojiro and Sero.

"Harrod's, right?" Momo.
Kirishima, who was listening to the whole interaction, began to tease Bakugo about it.
"Look at the difference in virtue." Kirishima. 15th.
"I can do it, too! Want me to beat it into you?" Bakugo. 3rd.
"Yeah, I'm counting on you!" Kirishima.
"Kaito, are you going to join us as well?!" Momo asked excited.
"Nah. I can help with the practical training but teaching is just not my jam." Kaito.
Everyone shivers after imagining what training with Kaito would be like, except Midoriya who was actually planning on training with him.
"Everyone's panicking now, even though it won't do any good to cram this late in the game." Aoyama.
"Shouldn't you try cramming a little?" Shoji. 10th.
"What are you talking about?" 20th.
"What is it?" 20th.
For those who don't understand, Aoyama has been qualified in the 20th place of the 20 students in class 1-A.
[Lunch Rush's Eatery]
Midoriya, Kaito, Iida, Todoroki, Uraraka, Hagakure and Tsuyu are eating their lunches. Or, in Kaito's case, feasts.
"The practical exam, huh? It's kind of scary since I can't tell what'll be on it." Midoriya.
"I don't think it'll be anything crazy.
"The written exam questions will come from what we study in class, so I should be able to manage somehow, but..." Midoriya.
Uraraka stares soullessly at her lunch due to her being the 13th.
"You can manage, huh...?" Uraraka.
"Seriously, what'll we have to do for the practical exam?" Midoriya.
"It'll be a comprehensive test of everything from first semester." Hagakure. 16th.
"That's all Mr. Aizawa would tell us..." Tsuyu. 6th.
"Everything we did so far... So, combat training and rescue training, and then basic training..." Uraraka.
"In addition to studying, we'll have to keep in good physical condition—" Midoriya.
Midoriya was about to enter his mumbling trance but Monoma "accidentally" elbowed his head.

'When did he get there?' Kendo.
"Yo, Mr. Copycat, was it? You've spouting trash about class A this class A that, that's not nice. You must treat others how you'd like to be treated." Kaito.
Monoma spits the bones out of his mouth and looks at Kaito somewhat mad.
"Would you like to have bones in your mouth and be interrupted?" Monoma.
"Well, I can eat bones so, no problem but you interrupted my friend earlier so, I paid you back with the same coin." Kaito took another meat bone and bit it as if it was a chip.
Kendo steps in and grabs Monoma by the ear.
"Monoma, that's not funny. Don't you know what happened to them? Sorry, Class A. This guy's heart's just kinda, you know." Kendo.
'His heart...?!' Midoriya.
"You guys were talking earlier about how you don't know what's gonna be on the practical exam for the finals, right?" Kendo.
"Yeah." Hagakure.
"Looks like it'll be combat against robots like in the entrance exam." Kendo.
"What? Really?! How do you know?" Midoriya.
"An upperclassman friend of mine told me. It's kind of cheating, though." Kendo.
"No, it's not cheating. That's right, I'm sure gathering information ahead of time is also part of the test...…" Midoriya entered his muttering mode.
"Are you an idiot, Kendo? We had an information advantage! This was our chance to get ahead of the detestable Class A!" Monoma.
"They're not detestable!" Kendo was about to karate chop him again but Kaito stopped her again.
"Wrong." Kaito.
'Again? He was just behind me!' Kendo.
"What do you mean, Kobayashi?" Kendo.
"I mean that the information of us fighting robots is wrong." Kaito.
"How do you know that?" Hagakure.
"Because the potential of our classes." Kaito.
"Potential?" Kendo.
"I've been secretly reading some reports of previous hero course students on the public sites of UA and I've noticed a high difference between us and our seniors when they were freshmen." Kaito.
"Why though?" Uraraka.
"Boredom. Anyhow, most of us are expected to easily pass the practical exam should we battle some robots, even 0 pointers can be a piece of cake with the correct strategy. With this in mind, what type of opponent should we face to not only have a challenge, but also improve upon defeat?" Kaito.
No one answers until Todoroki finishes his soba noodles and answers.
"Our opponents...are the teachers, right?" Todoroki.
Everyone's expressions change into shocked ones after hearing Todoroki's explanation.
"That's right my bi-hair colored friend. Since we can easily defeat the robots, battling the teachers will be the next step." Kaito.
Everyone realizes that Kaito has a point and begin to think in ways to overcome such challenge.
"I better get going, I'll inform my class about your thoughts in case that's correct." Kendo spoke while dragging Monoma.
"Ha! You're such an Idiot, Kobayashi! Class B will definitely pass the practical tests thanks to your slip of tongue! You big idiot---" Monoma was finally karate chopped in the neck by Kendo and both of them left.
"That kid has some issues." Todoroki.
'You're not the best person to say things like that, Shoto.' Kaito thought while eating.
The group finished their lunches and proceeded to explain Kaito's deduction about the practical exam.
"No!!!!!!" Mina/Mineta/Kaminari.
"How can they make us battle the teachers?!!" Mineta.
"We've reached quite the heights during this first semester. A test of this height must've been expected." Kaito.
"Wait! Kaito doesn't has any concrete proof about this, right? It means that it may as well be robots!" Mineta.
Some students like Kaminari get their hopes up with Mineta's statement but Kaito slaps them with some reality facts.
"You know that what I say is true. Given our progress, knowledge in real-life situations, and our performance in the sports festival, my theory is not too far-fetched." Kaito.
"ARGH!!! NOPE! NU-HU! NEVER! If we don't listen it's not true!" Kaminari.
"Yeah, yeah!" Mina.
"Not possible at all!!!!!" Mineta.
"You guys DO realize that losing either the written or the practical exam would mean you losing the training camp, right?" Shoji.
"So annoying!" Bakugo.
The student looks at Bakugo taking his stuff and walks towards Kaito.
"Kaito! I won't end with a result the same as the sports festival! I'll completely annihilate you!" Bakugo.
"Good." Kaito gets up from his seat and takes out a sword.
"Let's both do our best! Let us see which one of us will reach the top!" Kaito.
Kaito pointed at Bakugo with his sword. Bakugo just smirks and leaves the classroom.
"You're always so over-the-top when it come to him." Uraraka.
"I have to be. Bakugo wants a fierce fight? Bakugo GETS a fierce fight." Kaito spoke while putting his sword away.
Afterwards, the days passed by with everyone studying hard. Midoriya multitasking with his exercise, Momo and her group of studies, Bakugo whacking some sense into Kirishima's head and so on.
The exams days arrived.
Day 1.
Kaito finished the exam first and spend the rest of the time drawing.
Day 2.
Kaito finished the exam first and spend the rest of the time writing some fanfics.
Day 3.
Kaito actually fell asleep and finished the exam with only 5 minutes left.
"Pencils down, everybody. The last person in each row, collect the answer sheets and bring them here." Aizawa spoke.
"Whew! The adrenaline is almost the same as fighting a Nomu." Kaito.
"Tch! Lucky bastard!" Mineta.
"Thanks, Yao-Momo!" Mina.
"Without you, we would've definitely failed. I'm confident that I'm passing." Kaminari.
"I'm glad to hear that." Momo.
"Don't relax just yet. We still have the practical exams." Kaito.
"Are you ready to pay the money you're gonna owe us?" Mineta.
"Money?" Sato.
"Apparently, Mineta, Mina and Kaminari bet that the practical exams would be battle against robots and Kaito that it will be against teachers." Midoriya.
"How much money did they bet?" Sero.
"Around 60.000 yen." Midoriya.
"Between the three of them, right?" Uraraka.
"Nope, 60.000 for each one of them." Midoriya.
"What would Kaito gain from getting that money from them?" Todoroki.
"Ah, Kaito is not receiving money if he wins." Midoriya.
"What is he getting?" Jiro.
"He said it was something important but didn't enter into details." Midoriya.
"Scary." Hagakure.
"The primordial fear of humans will always be the unknown." Tokoyami.
[A few hours later. Practical Exam Area - Center Plaza]
Everyone from class 1-A is in the central plaza in their hero outfits while Aizawa, alongside some other teachers, are standing in front of them.
"Now, we will begin the practical exam. Of course, it is possible to fail this exam. If you want to go to the training camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes." Aizawa.
"There are a lot of teachers..." Jiro.
"I don't like how this looks." Mina.
"I expect that you all have gathered information ahead of time and have some idea of what you will be doing." Aizawa.
"We're fighting robot warriors like at the entrance exam, right?!" Kaminari.
"Fireworks! Curry! Test of Courage!" Mina spoke thinking of the training camp.

The teacher staff from UA is currently in the Conference Room, brainstorming in how will they proceed with the final exams of the freshmen.
"With the connection between Hero Killer: Stain and the League of Villains, there is the possibility that the villains will be reinvigorated, huh?" Nezu.
"Of course, it would be better to prevent that before it begins, but as a school, it would be best to be completely certain. If we consider how fights against villains will continue to intensify in today's society, then combat training against robots is not practical. Originally, robots were used to avoid complaints about people being injured in the entrance exams." Snipe.
"We can just ignore those. Let them say what they want." Aizawa.

The teachers began to read the details and were both impressed and scared of how detailed Kaito's plans were.
"I never thought that my clones had such weakness." Ectoplasm.
"Immunity to my fragrance? Is there such a thing?" Midnight.
"Deflecting his bullets is easy, he says." Snipe.
"Pile Bunkers to destroy his concrete." Cementoss.
"Are you sure he can temporarily deaf himself?" Present-Mic.
"I don't think that he can evade my Black Hole that easily." Thirteen.
"Principal, are you sure he's not just boasting?" Present-Mic.
"No, I'm quite positive that he can beat most of you with these plans." Nezu.
"How will we be able to rate him?" Midnight.
"I've been pondering about that and only came to a conclusion...after his exam, we'll hold another one with raised difficulty to rate him." Nezu.
"Are you sure about this?" Power-Loader.
"Yes, in fact, Kobayashi-kun was the one who asked me this himself. After the Hosu incident, he's quite unsure on his physical limits and wants to seek guidance." Nezu.
The teachers nod and proceed to continue the team match-ups.
(Back to the present.)
"And now, we'll announce the teams and the teachers they'll be up against all at once!" Nezu.
1st combat: Cementoss VS Red Riot and Sugarman.
2nd combat: Ectoplasm VS Froppy and Tsukuyomi.
3rd combat: Power-Loader VS Gearshift and Tailman.
4th combat: Eraser-Head VS Creati and Frost-Fire.
5th combat: Thirteen VS Can't Stop Twinkling and Uravity.
6th combat: Nezu VS Pinky and Chargebolt.
7th combat: Present-Mic VS Cellophane and Earphone Jack.
8th combat: Snipe VS Invisible Girl and Tentacole.
9th combat: Midnight VS Grape Juice and Hashira.
10th combat: All-Might VS Deku and Great Explosion Murder God: Dynamight!
"Time limit is 30 minutes. Your objective is to put these handcuffs on your teacher or let one of the two of you escape the site." Nezu.
"Fight or flee…it's definitely combat training." Kaminari.
"Can we really flee? Wouldn't that affect our chances to pass the test?" Mina.
"You can indeed escape but…" Nezu.

"That's right! Your decision-making skills are being tested! But with these rules, you're probably thinking the only choice is to run, right? That's why we had the support course make these for us!" All-Might takes out something from his pocket.
"Ultra compressed weights! We'll put on about half of our body weight. It's to give you a handicap. It's old-fashioned, but it makes it hard to move and eats up stamina! Oh crap, they're heavier than I thought... By the way, there was a competition to decide on the design, and we ended up using Young Hatsume's." All-Might.

"All right, each team will take the practical exam in order on the prepared stage. Sato, Kirishima, get ready." Aizawa.
"Yes, sir!" Kirishima/Sato.
"Those waiting their turn can watch the exams or think of strategies as a team. Do what you want. That's all." Aizawa and the teachers left and the students decided to plan their battles.
"Ojiro, I would like to see what we can do with our Quirks." Iida.
"Of course." Ojiro.
"Tokoyami, let's come up with a plan." Tsuyu.
"Very well." Tokoyami.
"The problem is how to strip Ms. Midnight, right?" Mineta.
"No. You're disgusting." Kaito.
[Monitor Room]
Midoriya, Kaito and Recovery Girl are in the Monitor Room watching the many monitors looking at the different sceneries where the fights will take place.
"Well, it looks like I'll have a lot of work today." Recovery Girl.
Uraraka enters the room alongside Aoyama, who's more interesting looking at himself in a reflective surface.
"Oh? You're watching, too, Deku, Kobayashi?" Uraraka.
"Yeah. We don't have many chances to see other students and the teachers fight. Besides, even if I wanted to talk about strategies..." Midoriya.
"I see." Uraraka.
"I have Mineta as a teammate. That should be enough explanation." Kaito.
"Well, for me... It's like there's no point trying to talk to him." Uraraka pointed at Aoyama posing at himself.
"Aoyama..." Midoriya.
"That's why I thought I'd try to use everyone else's fights for reference." Uraraka.
"Yeah." Midoriya.
[Team Sato and Kirishima, practical exam. Ready, go!] Monitor.
The battle was one-sided due to the direct approach of the dealers towards the large-mid-range attacker such as Cementoss. After wearing themselves down with some concrete walls, the duo fell tired on the ground, losing their exam.
[Team Sato and Kirishima retires due to both members losing consciousness.] Monitor.
"I told Kirishima that his brute force ways would be the end of him, but he never listened to me." Kaito.
"Oh dear, it's only the first match, and I already have work?" Recovery Girl.
"No way... It was this one-sided?" Uraraka.
"Their Quirks were too ineffective against his." Midoriya.
"Nope. It was their strategy what was ineffective." Kaito.
"Kobayashi?" Uraraka.
"Kirishima and Sato went too straightforward. They didn't gauge the threat that was Cementoss stamina. The weights are a handicap, yes, but it only applies when moving. Cementoss natural position to control concrete makes it easier for him to save his energy."
"Coincidentally, both of them lack proper close combat abilities and only know how to punch hard." Kaito.
"I see." Uraraka.
'Kacchan and I are going against All-Might, I wonder how it'll go with Overdrive.' Midoriya.
Meanwhile, Kaito was thinking about his battle against Midnight.
'Since Nezu will hold another test afterwards, I don't really have to pass this test, however, this is the perfect time to try "THAT"' Kaito begins to smirk behind his mask and looks forward to his battles.

I've been reading the comments and I know that some of you are quite mad or confused as to why the MC is soooooooooo weak, even thouhg he's been training for over 10 years, I promise that I'll explain all of this during the Training Camp Arc so be patient. Any doubts can be written in the comments and I'll pay mind to them. Please don't insult me too much in case you don't like the debuff reason.
