48 A DATE?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Merry Christmas everyone and a happy new year!!! This will be the last chapter of the year, hope you like it!!!!

"So? Why did you call me here in the first place?" Momo asked Kaito.

Kaito was still mumbling something under his teeth while getting redder by the second and finally managed to say it out loud.

"I have a crush on Tsuyu and I need your help to find out her likes, dislikes and anything else so that I can potentially become her boyfriend." Kaito explained quite quickly.

Momo was clearly taken aback by the sudden development, granted, she never thought of Kaito as the perverted type but even though, she was still skeptical about doing him a favor.

Kaito is sweating buckets, wondering if he took the correct choice by asking Momo. True, she's not the most versed in these types of situations and he wanted to ask Mina instead but...…

Mina tends to be kind of a chatterbox and this subject could easily slip out of her mouth and Kaito was not about to f up because of her. So, he decided to cash in the favor Momo owes him and makes the most of it.

"This is a little sudden." Momo.

"No kidding. To be honest, it was either you or my luck and honestly, I didn't want to test it against RNJESUS." Kaito,

"I have a question." Momo.

"Go on." Kaito.

"Since when did you have a crush on her?" Momo.

'The moment I saw her various expressions throughout the anime...I can't say that!'

"The very first day of school. I know its cheesy but, her smile was really heartwarming and I really liked it. As time passed, I realized that she's also a kind and awesome girl and had grown to respect her." Kaito.

"Why not only tell her that yourself?" Momo.

"Momo, Momo, Momo, you may have the quirk of a golden spoon, but you're so.... clueless about how romantic love actually works." Kaito spoke as he patted Momo's shoulder.

"Being rich is no quirk." Momo.

"Tell that to Batman and Ironman." Kaito muttered.

"What was that?" Momo.

"Nothing! You gonna help me, yes, or no?" Kaito.

Momo began to ponder about Kaito's request and didn't find anything wrong with it.

"Alright, I'll help you. What should I find?" Momo.

"Likes, dislikes, her thoughts about me, her dreamed life, I don't know! I've never done stuff like this before." Kaito.

"Then why did you ask me about this?" Momo.

"Yaoyorozu, I really am desperate. Not of having a girlfriend, perse, but from not being able to tell her how I feel. It's crushing me beyond anything I've done before, and one time I did duck walking with five trees strapped at my back." Kaito.

"Alright, alright, I get it. Don't worry, I'll help you, I do owe you a favor after all." Momo spoke as she made her way towards the exit.

"Momo…!" Kaito muffled his voice in admiration towards his classmate.

[The next day, Sunday]

Kaito woke up early and did the morning chores to help his mother, play with Jinsei and the "dog" he got from Herme's shop. He's still not sure what IT is but, it behaves, eats and acts like a dog so, Kaito just left him be.

The fun, however, was interrupted once he got a text from Momo.

{Go to the school in casual clothes, I'll tell you about my plan there. CLEAN YOURSELF PROPERLY!!!} Momo.

Kaito thought that it was a nice idea to meet up at the place and rushed to change himself. Wearing a nice red t-shirt, jeans and black shoes, Kaito made his way towards school, after saying goodbye to his family of course.

Kaito arrived at UA without a sweat and received another message from Momo.

{I put two movie tickets on the back of the gate, take them and wait.} Momo.

Kaito was confused by the second text and did as he was told, he thought Momo made this creative way of doing treasure hunt to explain her plan to him...until his keen senses noticed Tsuyu walking towards his direction.

Despite being depicted as a slow person, Kaito grasped quickly what would happen and called Momo. The rich girl answers but the voice of a certain pink-skin-haired girl was what Kaito listen.

"Heya Kaito-san, I hope you appreciate the "meet-up" that I prepared for you and your crush." Mina's voice was heard from the phone.

"Mina, where's Momo, and if she can hear me, why did you snitch on me?!" Kaito.

"Oh, you see, after your little talk, Momo went shopping with me, I was teaching her about the "commonfolk knowledge" that she lacks so much. So, after noticing her spacing out, I called her out on that and after a few pushing, she spilled the beans." Mina.

'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Kaito yelled in his mind from embarrassment.

"I have the entire morning, noon and afternoon planned, you'll explore the city with her and visit various shops while talking to her all the morning, then, you'll take her to the movies, the movie is about two hours long so, use the bathroom beforehand, then to a nice ramen shop just at the other side of the street and by that time, it'll be 6:00 PM and you can walk her home." Mina.

"You're good planning and all, but I can see why you're failing math and critical thinking. There's no way, that I can entertain her for over five hours without her getting bored. I mean, it's 8 freaking AM, and the movie begins at 4:30 PM, according to these tickets." Kaito.

Mina remains in silence for a few seconds and quickly hangs up. Kaito wanted to yell but noticed that Tsuyu was into hearing range so he abstained himself and tried to remain calm.

'Ok, ok, you can do this. You're the one who'll fight AFO, you'll be the one to be the #1 hero, and you'll be the one to NOT die single in this life. GO FOR IT!!!' Kaito psyched himself up.

He turns back and looks at Tsuyu arrives wearing a single piece green dress and a brown purse.

"Ribbit? Kaito-chan, were you the one who left this note on my house?" Tsuyu asked.

Kaito took the card and read its contents.

"Hi, you free tomorrow to spend some time around the city? See a movie, eat some ramen, etc.… if you want, meet me at UA High's entrance in the morning, I'll be waiting 😉"

'MINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

"Yeah, sorry for the messy handwriting, it was a spur of the moment." Kaito.

"I see. So, what will we do today?" Tsuyu asked.

"W-well, the movie starts around 4 PM so, how about we take a nice stroll throughout the city? It's a nice way to spend some time while we wait." Tsuyu.

"Then, why not set the time at 4?" Tsuyu.

'Because SOMEONE decided to invite herself into this operation!!!'

"As I say, today's all about where the wind takes us. You know, what'll happen, happen and what wont, wont. You catch my drift?" Kaito asked embarrassed.

Tsuyu just inclined her head and put a confused expression.

'This may be the first time I've ever felt so angry at one person. And I ended a long friendship with a friend in my past life because he recommended me Boku No Pico!!!' Kaito.

Kaito just sighed and gave this whole shindig a massive F. He wasn't foolish enough to waste the chance and leave a bad impression but...he also doesn't want this to be counted as an actual date.

(Note: Since most of the city's locations are fictional, I'm gonna make my own locations for the sake of this and future similar chapters, we good? Ok! ROLLING!!!)

Kaito and Tsuyu began their way throughout Musutafu, Kaito spotted a small aquarium and saw Tsuyu's interested expression.

"You wanna go there?" Kaito asked.

"Ribbit! Yeah, I would. I love aquariums." Tsuyu.

"Heh, let's go then." Kaito seemed to have forgotten that he's alone with Tsuyu.

Because the very next second he grabs her hand and gently takes her towards the small aquarium. Tsuyu blushes a little due to Kaito's boldness and Kaito seems to have altered his own perception of reality, deluding himself by thinking that he's not with Tsuyu. Don't try that or you may get schizophrenia.

The two young heroes began to traverse the aquarium until they saw an exhibition about frogs and toads. Tsuyu stopped walking and took a moment of herself to look at the little greenish/brownish creatures coexisting.

"That seems nice." Kaito spoke as he saw two frogs laying over a rock." He seemed to have snapped back to reality.

"Yeah. Did you know that Frogs don't rely solely on their lungs for respiration; they can also absorb oxygen through their skin. This process, called cutaneous respiration, is especially important when they are submerged in water or when their lungs are not sufficient, such as during hibernation." Tsuyu.

"Aha." Kaito.

"They also have a unique eye structure known as "binocular vision." This means that their eyes are positioned in a way that allows them to see nearly 360 degrees around them, helping them detect predators and catch prey more effectively." Tsuyu.

"Cool." Kaito saw how excited Tsuyu was talking about frogs and decided to play along, just to see her smile more.

"What about toads? Are they somewhat different or entirely different?" Kaito.

"Well, in a sense they're both different and similar, you see; Frogs and toads are both members of the order Anura, sharing similarities but also exhibiting distinct differences. Physically, frogs generally have smooth, moist skin and long, powerful hind legs adapted for leaping, while toads are characterized by dry, warty skin and shorter hind legs for hopping."

"Frogs tend to be more aquatic, favoring moist environments, while toads are often found in drier habitats. Behaviorally, frogs are agile swimmers and are commonly associated with water, whereas toads are often more terrestrial and may burrow to escape extreme conditions."

"Reproductive strategies also differ, with frogs laying their eggs in clusters and having tadpoles that undergo a full aquatic metamorphosis, while toads typically lay eggs in long chains and their tadpoles undergo a more rapid metamorphosis."

"While these distinctions exist, it's important to note that the terms "frog" and "toad" are not strictly defined biological categories, and some animals classified as toads may share characteristics with frogs and vice versa." Tsuyu.

Tsuyu realizes how much she's been rambling and gets embarrassed but Kaito just smiles at her.

"Wow, I didn't know that, and I know how to create a poisonous serum based on the Ricinus communis." Kaito.

"Sorry, I just really love amphibians in general." Tsuyu.

"I don't want to sound racist or whatever that may be called but…is it because of your frog quirk?" Kaito.

"Hehe. You may think that but no., it's actually because of how interesting and caring they are." Tsuyu.

"Caring?" Kaito.

"When a frog is about to lay its eggs, they look for the clearest pond of water they can find, if the water is not clean enough, it can bring serious consequences for the hatchlings." Tsuyu.

"That's nice and all but, and sorry if I'm overstepping, could you elaborate?" Kaito.

"Can you keep a secret?" Tsuyu.

"Better than Momo I can." Kaito muttered.

"What?" Tsuyu.

"Yes, I can. And may GOD strike me down if I'm lying." Kaito.

"Thanks. As you know, quirks like mine affect the body permanently, even if Aizawa-sensei were to use his quirk on my, I just would be unable to jump higher or stretch my tongue, but my physiological and biological structure won't change." Tsuyu.

"I know that much, though, to be honest, I can't see much of a difference in you." Kaito.

"Well, my eyes being this abnormally big are a cause of that, my "ribbit" quip is also part of it, and whenever I'm doing nothing, my hands and arms relaxed position is like this." Tsuyu puts her hands in a T-Rex position.

"Ok. Still, it doesn't sound THAT bad." Kaito.

"Well, having eyes like mine can get you some negative comments from little kids. They would either say that I was scary or that my eyes were/are freaky, either way, it was only bad things." Tsuyu looked sad.

Kaito looked at Tsuyu's saddened expression and he also got sad.

"Tsuyu." Kaito got Tsuyu's attention and she looked at him in the eyes.

Kaito maintained eye contact for a few more seconds until he spoke.

"You have beautiful eyes." Kaito spoke and smiled.

Tsuyu's expression was of shock, her eyes went blank and her entire face was as red as a chili. Kaito, who just realized what he just said, also begins to get red and is sweating oceans after that awkward moment. Thankfully for our decent protagonist, the alarm on his phone breaks the ice, informing him that it's 4 PM.

"Ah! look at that, it looks like it's time for our movie, we must make our way there before its too late!" Kaito nervously talked as he exited the aquarium slowly.

Tsuyu's looks at Kaito's back awkwardly leaving and lets a small but clear laugh. She then takes her purse and from it takes out a small frog sticker, she runs towards Kaito and puts it in his hand.

"Let's go, Ribbit, I wonder what movie did you chose." Tsuyu smiles.

Kaito looks at the frog sticker in his left hand and grabs Tsuyu's hand and both of them exit the aquarium. Kaito, however, did not noticed that Tsuyu had a toad sticker on her right hand, when their hands got together, the stickers were in a position that mirrored a kiss.

So, good year wasn't it? I made sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many chapters. Also topped myself with new fics and leaving some of those on hiatus, I know, I know, I F up, but I'll try to fix it, except that in February I'll be back on the College and my second semestre will be 10 times the ball breaker it normally is.
