1 Reborn

Eran sat in his gaming chair clicking his cheap, 20 dollar computer mouse and tapping his keyboard. His eyes where focused upon the monitor, careful watching his character making sure not to mess up a single move.

The game Kingdom Come was Erans lifeblood. After getting emotionally devastated by his girlfriends brutality, he had come to the game in hopes of breaking reality and play in a world he wished was real. The game was a MMO game which involved heavy PvP, exploration, status, and much more you'd expect to find in a fictional story.

He hated the world, and although he wished the game to be the real world. He knew, or so he thought he knew, for there to be no hope for such childish thoughts.

However this didn't stop him from loving the game. He slowly, through immense work, rose up to the top of the leaderboard.

He completed hidden quests, dungeons, and boss's. Of course many other players did the same. but what made Eran stick out was that he played completely solo.

It's not that he didn't want friends or girls. However his lack of trust kept him from teaming up especially since he had never met any of these players in real life.

Today was the day, that not only would he conquer the leaderboard of players. but he would also take over the leaderboard for the strongest guild. Not only would he do this but his guild only had one person in it. That was of course, Eran himself.

However unbeknownst to Eran the game ran deeper than he would ever know. And as he sat the there about to beat the best guild in a guild V guild battle, a cold, thin blade slide its way into Eran right side.

Eran stoped clicking, looked down, and slowly slide out of his chair, and flopped on the floor. He was slightly confused, as there was no pain, he just felt excruciatingly hot. He thought to himself, 'ahhh, this heat, i never want to feel it again.' All of a sudden, the burning heat turned to an ice cold feeling. Again he thought ' no, never again do i want to feel this cold.' Then the cold turned to immense pain like he had never felt before.

He had finally grasped reality, he was going to die. 'ahhh...maybe I will get to see the fantasy world of my dreams?'. He laughed on the inside, ' what a childish thought'. And just like that, Eran died. At least, he died in this world.

Eran awoke to a strange robotic like voice in his head. "The unit has chosen abilities Anti heat and Anti Cold, along with Pain Resistance. 'I did?' Eran asked. "The unit has seven more free abilities until it is shipped to a new world." Eran thought for a moment before replying. "How many units will be shipped?" "Just you" the voice announced.

Eran tried to move his feet, arms, even just a finger. Yet he found that in this dream, or so he thought it to be a dream, he could not move any part of his body.

Regardless of the weird dream, Eran continued to play along. He assumed he was in a dream of a surrounding like that of Kingdom Come and thought up of abilities from the game.

He still wanted to play it smart because he knew that he could die at any second considering that he was just shanked in the side. If this is the last dream I will ever have i'm going to enjoy it.

He chose he fourth ability and said it out loud. "I want the Adapt Language Understanding ability," He said. "Continue," the voice replied. "I want the Sixth Sense and Advanced Senses abilities." He stopped and thought for a while, thinking of what would be useful. "I would also like the abilities Like A Fish, Natures Friend, and Naturally talented." Pausing, he knew what his final ability would be.

The ability was a hidden ability that he acquired in the game. It was the reason why he could beat a guild solo. "And last but not least the Creative Mind ability."

" The unit has finished, you will now be generated to world 40,563. Among the people there, it is known as Liberia," The voice added.

"You will now be generated a new body of the race Human. Have fun and try not to die day one as you will be reborn in the woods next to Ji Ji village. The forest is the safest of any wood however there are still weak monsters!" Before he could say anything, everything turned black.

He opened his eyes, immediately noticing the treetops reaching heights past 300 feet. The treetops blocked out most of the sun leaving the forest floor dimly lit.

Eran sat up, quickly looking from the treetops, to the massive tree trunks that supported them.

He changed he view to the strange screen like thing that hovered at his eye level. Quickly scanning it, he found it similar to the inventory screen in Kingdom Come. However taking a closer look, it was quite a bit different.

The top right had a rectangular box with a teen around the age of 16. The man was completely naked, and was not muscular nor skinny. He seamed like an average 16 year old teen. Although he assumed this was what he now looked like, it was still hard to accept. His face was what most would call perfect. His hair was blonde, his least favorite color. His eyes where a deep shade of blue, he had no fat to speak of and had muscle you'd expect to find on a 16 year old.

He over all could be called handsome, however he hated his hair color. He could never look at anything blonde again after he got attacked by a golden retriever.

Inside the rectangular box underneath the teen read, Hunger, Thirst, and stamina. Above them where bars, brown for food, light blue for water, and green for stamina, all of which where currently full.

Under the picture of the 16 year old lay tiny squares each with a different picture and English words underneath each.

The first square read Inventory. tapping on the square, or rather his finger phasing through the square, opened another screen of which sat a ton of empty squares of which he assumed where where the items he would acquire would be.

On the top left of that screen was yet again a square with a picture of an arrow. He assumed would be the back arrow and tapping it sent him back to the main screen with the teen on it.

ignoring the other squares, he looked the circles that where on the left side of the 16 year old. Each had a plus sign inside of it, and next to them read this in order.

Health: 100

Mana: 50

Stamina: 100

Strength: 100

Speed: 50

"stats huh? well i guess everybody starts at the beginning," he said out-loud even though there was nobody to listen.

He was still in wonder of this dream, slowly believing that maybe god had fulfilled his wish. Had he been sent to the world of his dreams? Regardless of wether or not he had been sent to a new world for real, he couldn't just sit here.

He stood up and began to walk. where, he had no clue. Where he wanted to go, was obvious. The village the voice had told him about, Ji Ji village.
