2 Chapter 2

A little boy suddenly appeared when Kei had begged in a small voice.

The kid looked at the girl and spoked in a worried tone, "You just ran off like that..." the kid stopped moving his mouth and stared at the little body that Nanami was holding.

'Eh... a baby?' The kid thought and tilted his head.

'Tap'

Kei turned around and another woman started approaching Nanami with a giant butcher's knife. Kei felt like this scene is when they all get killed, so he can't help but feel terrified at the sharp object the woman was lesurely holding.

Her body was producing cold air.

"What is the matter with that kid?" the lady's voice was low, and her pupils darkened looking at the white haired kid.

'Swo—osh!'

The knife was pointed at Nanami, the moonlight bounced at the knife and the lady spoke, "I heard that the fox can change his form... Perhaps, that child is the fox youkai that's being hunted right now." her face was cold.

'at least I'm being ignored.'

Nanami was horrified, she bit her lips and with a low voice she muttered, "He's... a child I know..." she paused and looked at the lady.

"Please help him."

Kei had now understood where he was, he was in a dream...（ミ￣ー￣ミ）

Luckily, the lady with the giant knife didn't butcher us all and instead, felt sympathetic at Nanami.

Kei was sitting with Nanami, he tried talking himself out that this was a dream but he no longer felt that this was a fake.

'Nanami-chan is really pretty up close.'

"Nanami, how about you stop hiding and show your face?" Yukiji spoke, while Nanami held her face with a worried expression.

It seems like she was thinking of the of something not good?

Her face looked sad.

"Onee-san, my friends told me that rubbing my hair always make them happy, so..." Kei continued and he leaned into Nanami.

Nanami's lips curled up into a smile...
