19 quickie with Hisoka ;)

*caawww* *caaawwww* The sound of a strange crow echoed through the misty Numere Wetland. The fog and mist was really dense, and slowly getting thicker. For Amon, who had his En spread, it wasn't too big of a deal. He'd been keeping tabs on Hisoka, this time he wanted to make sure that Hisoka didn't fight with Gon. Why? Just cause... with the few interactions he'd been having with Gon, he'd been enjoying spending time with him. In the anime, apparently Gon had a special aura around him, that would bring people closer to him.

Amon thought that might have been the case. He'd decided to teach them both Killua and Gon proper Nen. After the Exam, he'd invite Gon and the others to the Zoldyck Estate, Gon would come for sure, but as for the others it was up to them.

"Gon." Killua said. "Let's move up"

"Okay" He replied, "We don't want to lose sight of the Examiner."

"I am more concerned in putting a distance between us and Hisoka," Killua grimly said, "He's too dangerous, I can smell it, right Amon?"

"Hmmm? Yea, stay away from him, you two move ahead and I will stay with Kurapika and Leorio."

Gon and Killua look at each other and nod. Killua already knew about some of Amon's strength, he wasn't worried about him. And Gon, well he seemed to think Amon was strong.

As Amon neared Kurapika and Leorio, they both looked at him apprehensively. He hadn't really interacted with Kurapika and Leorio much.

"Yo," he said as he started running beside them. "I am Killua's twin brother, Amon, we haven't talked yet."

"My name is Kurapika," Kurapika said while nodding his head in Amon's direction.

"The name's Leorio," Leorio said.

"Gon and Killua have gone up ahead, I'm here so you don't get lost." Amon spoke. Kurapika looked curious and amused. While Leorio almost looked humiliated.

"Look here kid! Can't you see how thick the fog is, how the heck can you see through that!" He shouted loudly. Amon smirked at his response. Not bothering to respond to him, Amon spread his En ahead of him. When he finally discovered something, he suddenly stopped running right in front of Leorio and Kurapika.

Just as Leorio was about to start screaming again, Amon quickly started speaking, "LOOK AT THE PEOPLE IN FRONT."

As Kurapika and Leorio stopped. In the mist a couple of metres in front of them, 4 runners suddenly had their skulls pulled off.

"What the-" Leorio began. Kurapika on the other hand, had pulled out his weapons and gotten into a combat position.

Suddenly floating strawberries appeared out of nowhere. As another examinee tried to walk towards them, he suddenly fell and started screaming. Then as the fog cleared he was found in the mouth of tortoise like creature. His cries for help abruptly stopped as soon as the tortoise snapped his sharp mouth shut.

Similarly all kinds of strange beasts and plants started to appear in the Numere Wetlands. Claymore Mushrooms, Hypnotic Butterflys. Pit traps with spikes, Ruse Birds, that mimicked Satotz voice and let the runners into traps.

Gon and Killua were still following after the Instructor.

"I wonder how Amon, Leorio and Kurapika are doing?"

"Don't worry about them, my bro Amon is really strong!" Killua bragged. Just as he finished, the ground underneath them suddenly gave away as a giant frog appeared. They both ended up swallowed by it. [A/N: Escape later ofc.]

As Amon saw another tortoise heading towards their location, he quickly jumped onto its head and gave it a sharp jab. It instantly collapsed. Leorio looked shocked while Kurapika was impressed.

"Now, I think it was this way." Leorio said. Amon couldn't help but frown when he saw that Hisoka was there with his En. He seemed to be surrounded by a few people. As Leorio, Kurapika and Amon neared Hisoka's location. Amon secretly got ready for battle.

When they finally reached the clearing, the sight Leorio and Kurapika saw, was horrifying. 10 or so bodies were lying on the ground, the smell of blood reeked. Hisoka was standing in the middle of it all, holding a bloodstained playing card. [A/N: Bit different from canon, but not by much]

When Hisoka first saw the trio, his eyes narrowed and when he noticed Amon, his lips twisted into a wicked grin. "Well? Care to participate, in my little game of examiner?"

Leorio looked pissed off. He was a doctor and seeing people get murdered so easily angered him a lot. Kurapika had already seen killing, so instead of being angry, he was calm and cautious.

"Leorio, Amon. On my signal we run in opposite directions." Kurapika said.

"Why?"

"He is vastly more experienced in real combat. The three of us won't stand a chance against him. We cannot afford to squander time in a pointless fight!" Kurapika said.

"I'll fight him and you two run, I may not look like it, but I'm kinda strong." Amon said to the both of them.

"Hell na, if you aren't going, then I aren't either, I will kick this a*shole's butt with you!" Leorio said. Kurapika sighed after hearing that, he knew there was no convincing the two. So then he also pulled out his bokken.

"Interesting, and here I was thinking that I was going to have to hunt down my prey," Hisoka said, as he spoke, his hands pulled out a full deck of cards.

Without giving him anymore time, Amon, Leorio and Kurapika dashed towards him. Leorio went for a frontal assault while Amon and Kurapika planned to attack him from the sides.

Hisoka wildly grinned, his bloodlust so high, that if one used Gyo, they would see the surrounding area around Hisoka blood-purple. He quickly started throwing his cards at them. They weren't infused with Nen, so Amon easily dodged them. Kurapika had slightly more trouble but was also managing to avoid them. Leorio though, had cuts and wounds everywhere, everywhere except his vital area.

Amon decided to try harder, if he could kill Hisoka now, many future issues could be solved. The Troupe might come after him, but showing that Hisoka was actually not a real member would solve the problems.

As soon as Amon was within a few metres of Hisoka, a black portal suddenly opened in front of him and swallowed him, while another one opened behind Hisoka. As soon as Amon came out of the portal behind Hisoka, he contracted his arm and punched, hitting Hisoka's back squarely.

Hisoka caught off guard could only use a minimal amount of Nen to block the attack. So he flew straight into some trees. Kurapika and Leorio looked mind-boggled.

"HAHAHAHHAA!" A maniacal laughter came the wreckage of trees where Hisoka had landed. As he started to slowly walk back, Amon could see the pinkish nen coming from his fingers. 'Bungee gum, he is going all out now, better get Leorio and Kurapika away' Amon thought. But then he finally discovered Kurapika's eyes were scarlet red.

When Amon had punched Hisoka's back, his clothes had been damaged. One could see a spider with the number 4 on, on Hisoka's back.

Amon sighed, thinking he had gotten him some more trouble.
