It was not long before the next school showed up.

Zooming on long distance racing brooms, dozens of Japanese students, followed by their professors sitting in a large floating yacht, approached from the east.

With the cloudy sky as the backdrop, the scene of the students racing on brooms decked out in proper quidditch gear looked imposing, especially with the huge yacht following closely.

The ship landed on the spot the previous winged horses were with the brooms floating above.

"Welcome, Headmaster Junko Ōshiro. Its nice to have Mahoutokoro join us today.

Ah, it seems you also brought in your prized national team. Wonderful." Dumbledore welcomed the elderly Japanese lady wearing a luxurious red and orange kimono, with some greying hair mixed in with the still midnight black hair.

"It is our pleasure to participate in the Triwizard tournament this year. I hope to see a good show between my students and the rest." The Japanese headmistress bowed slightly and spoke in a very thick Japanese accent.

"Yes, I have heard of your love for the theatrics and drama. Im sure you will definitely enjoy the friendly competition between the various schools this year." Dumbledore chuckled and had the Hogwarts professors guide the Japanese students to the waiting area.

The next school to arrive was the school representing Oceania.

Riding in on a huge spaceship that looked awfully similar to the USS Voyager from star trek, almost a hundred and fifty students dismounted from the spaceship followed by a quirky middle-aged wizard wearing a top hat.

"Drummond Dane. A pleasure to have you here." Dumbledore approached the man in the top hat and glasses and shook his hand.

"You must be dumbledore, the greatest wizard of Britain. Pleasure to be able to attend the legendary Triwizard competition." Headmaster Dane shook the old man's hand and spoke with a very thick Australian accent.

Among the students that dismounted from the spaceship, many pressed a button on their black and red suits before a very thin magical barrier sprung up around them, preventing the cold wind from hitting their skins.

Taking a closer look at their uniforms, many of the students were wearing a number of accessories, each filled with dense magical radiation. It would seem that the oceanic school of magic was very technological based if their students were an indication.

Similarly, the oceanic students were led to the waiting area, while more and more schools showed up.

The next one to arrive was the American School, ilvermorny, whose carriage was surrounded by a horde of 4 thunderbirds.

Sitting on each bird was a single professor, standing upright exuding an imposing aura. With the thunderbirds below their feet, and lightning forming around them, the sight was magnificent.

On the stern of the carriage, the headmaster Agilbert Fontaine, stood imposingly, overlooking the gathering below him.

Jumping off the carriage, he slowly floated to the ground with the carriage following behind.

Once again, Dumbledore went ahead to greet the headmaster and lead the students inside.

And finally, the final school to attend was of course, Durmstrang Institute.

After waiting for more than half an hour, the school showed up from under the black lake.

Sailing in a huge ancient ship, the students descended onto dry land in a militarist fashion.

Once the students were off the ship, they formed two neat lines on the shore and banged their staffs. With each bang, sparks flew from the tip of the staff at the contact with the ground below and produced a sonorous boom.

Slowly the echoes synchronised with the heart beats of all present, which slowly picked up its pace, raising the heart rates of all that could hear.

Once the desired effect was achieved, the Headmaster of the Institute walked down the ramp of the ship with two people by his side.

Walking slowly, the black clad 'former' death eater arrived in front of the Hogwarts headmaster and with pathetic arrogance in his tone, greeted the old wizard.

"As always, having the need for the dramatics, Igor. Welcome to Hogwarts. I see you have your favourite students walking with you.

You must be Victor Krum and Tolga Safer. I can see why you would prefer these students. One is a wonderful Quidditch player, while the other is rumoured to be your personal disciple, a favourite to take up the mantle of headmaster after you." Dumbledore said as he recognised the two behind Igor.

"It is their honour to be known by you Dumbledore. Now, I believe the others must be waiting. I hate to keep them waiting for any longer." Igor said after seeing the irritated faces of many headmasters and headmistresses directed at him.

"Yeah. Lets not keep them waiting."

"Dumbledore, I have to ask. Were there not going to be more schools participating this year. After all, the International Council did open up the tournament for the whole world." Igor asked after seeing the rather small number of schools participating.

"About that. The Indian school rejected the offer. Russia is still closed off, not wanting any relations outside their country, Castelobruxo had a little bit of a civil hiccup, so they too declined the offer. And finally, Uagadou didn't want any contact with the British after last time. So, only Oceania, America, Japan, You, and France sent their schools." Dumbledore explained as the headmasters met up with the other headmasters.

"It's a shame. Would have loved to compete with the Russians. I hear they have a very competent student body." Igor shook his head and muttered.

Seeing the headmasters enter the castle, the professors in charge of the students followed them along with the students gathered outside.

Finally, all the schools participating in the Triwizard Tournament had gathered.
