9 9)- the murder case

Today our parents left us with the Kudo family  , it 's seem they got really  busy today.

but it is  a little weired , usually if they are busy in work  and  if they were unable to take care of us , they will left us at home but they will ask our neighbor to keep an eye on us for time to time .

When we arrived .

' so this is the Kudo house it's just like the anime , oh I guess this house in the right is Agasa's '  .

" oh Eri you come " said yukiko waving at us .

" yes , thank you for agreeing to take care of Rin and Ran " .

" Ma it's okey , and I 'm sure shin-chan will be happy to see you two  "

" then I will go ahead , Ran Rin  don't cause trouble to yukiko " she said while hugging us then she hurried and went to her work .

" now Rin-chan , Ran - chan let's go inside "

We nodded

So now the three of us  are playing sharlock Holmes   , yukiko -San she was summoned to acting scene , so it'only the four of us. as for yusaku- San   he is in his study writing  a novel  .

I want his authographe but in the same time I'm  afraid if he ask me about the tracker ,  ' ' ' what should I do ???!!! ' I thought sighing , while i have a mental fight i heard a phone rinning then yisaku ~san pick it up.

" hello meguri - kebu what can i help you ?? Ah okey i see i'll be their shortly " then he hung up the call .

" dad who is it ??" asked shinshi .

" it's meguri -kebu a friend of mine in the police force , he want me to help him with a murder case "  explained yusaku .

" dad can we go with you , please !!" said shinshi with excitment writen all over his face ' he's really a mystery lover huh '

" i don't have a  other choice then to bring you all with me " he said looking at me  then shinshi cheered .

' what ??are you serious , who  is in his right mind to bring children to a murder sense , and why he is looking at me ??' Then I spotted the tracker I put on Efun - sensei,  on yukasu' s  study '  Don't tell me the tracker ??! It's over he know everything ,  I want to cry ...' 

" shinshi - kun you seem happy " said ran .

" of course , it's my first case after all,  I will solve it "  said shinshi .' sorry to disappointed you but your father her will solve the case even before you say murder ..... '

"But yukiko - San won't be happy " I told them , I swear that  his body tensed  pale just the moment   i mentioned yukiko-san ' is she really that scary?? ' I though .

" ma ma she won't know if we keep it a secret between us " he said .

" hai " they agreed .I don't have a choice so I nodded .

~ after few minutes~

We arrived at the crime's location ,  a chubby man wearing an orang coat and a fredora   greeted us . ' oh it's meguri - San ' .

" I see you bring your son with you  and this two .... Oh it's Ran - chan and Rin- chan it's been a long time since I saw you , you two really grow taller " he said patting our heads

I can see ran is confused maybe she don't remember him.

So Wonder how he know us?? , well 2 years ago Dad invited him to dinner , that was the first time I met him, and the second time is when Efun seinsei got arrested.

" now for the case , the victim is Yoshida komora , a male 39 years old , he died by a barrage of  3 bullets , the first  two were pentreated to his upper abdomen, the third one garzed to his left arm , we found a knife in the victim's right hand , we find near him  a large part of ground dug out and it's enough to bury a person , the time estimated for his death is between  05:00 and 06:00 pm  also we have three suspects :

Suspect 1:

Name= Aoyama Yuki .

Age = 37 .

Relation to the victim = EX- wife .

Alibi = doesn't  have one .

Suspect 2:

Name = Nakajima Naomi .

Age = 27

Relation to the victim = his girlfriend . She was the first one who found the victim 's corps and the one who called the police .

She said that she was  knocked out , and when she wake up her hands and legs are  tied with rops .

Suspect 3:

Name= Hajimi Takashi .

Age=  29 years old.

Relation with the victim= neighbor, he has no relationship with the victim but knows Naomi from the past 2 years . also he's a wedding photographer , his alibi was confirmed by his friend Ryuji Nakamora they were together in Takeshi 's house   when the murder happens.

after he meguri kibu explained the murder .

" I know the murder is  Aoyama Yuki - San " shouted shinshi  pointing at Aoyama-san .

" you're the only one who doesn't have an Alibi " .

"  what are you talikng about brat ?? I didn't do it !!" Shouted yuki-san.

" actually we found in Naomi -San 's room a gun and a ticket flight to Canada " said meguri - San .

" what ??? A gun ?? It's true that I was planing to go to Canada but a gun I don't know anything about that , beside I was knocked that time how can I supposed to kill him ???? " said Naomi - San .

" Now now let's not rush to conclusion " said yusaku - San

I looked at the suspects and narrowed my eyes . ' it's wired the knife  in the victim's hand , also the the dug out ground , adding that Naomi was knocked at that time and tied beside the victim hmmm '  I was thinking hard I didn't notice yusaku looking at me .

" sir the  result of fingerprints test we did on the shovel  had come out ,  the fingerprints on the shovel have matched with yoshida komora " said a police officer.

"What!!!??  How can that be "

My eyes widened with the realization I smirked ' this is it ....now I just have to find the  motive '

I noticed  a particular watch on Takeshi San  , also a camera .

I went to Takeshi-san and pulled his shirt

" what's it young girl ?"

" is that a camera ?? "

" yes"

"Can I see it ?? Please " I did my puppy eyes .

" but be careful okey " I nodded .

I take the camera and start strolling in it , then ' I find it ' .

" meguri kebu both of us  solved the crime " said yusaku -San .

" both of you ?"

"Rin- chan want to share about what you found out "yusaku said looking at us .

"Rin- chan??" Shouted miguri .

" huh Rin  you find the culprit ??" Asked shinshi .

' crap how did yusaku - San  know !!!?... What should I do  .... Sigh  I think I don't have a choice now do I ?  '

I nodded then I start explaining my deduction . "  based on the digged ground and the DNA of the victim they found in the shovel , adding the fact that Naomi -San was knocked out and put in the backyard  , there is only one explication to that  , the victim yoshida komora- San tried to kill Naomi San , he tried to bury her but in the end he died in his own grave " I said .

They were all shocked excluding Yusaku - San .

" no it's impossible how can he ...." Said Naomi sobbing heavily .

I. Looked at yusaku and he gestured me to continue.

" the culprit  saw the victim digging in the ground and beside him a tide Naomi , first he thought she was dead , he hurried and tried to stop yoshida -san but when the victim noticed him coming he attacked him with the knife we found in his right arm , but in attempt to defend himself the culprit  took the gun that he brought  with him ,  he shoot the three bullet at the victim . after that he tossed the gun in Naomi 's room then he

ran away ".

" then the culprit is ..."

"  yeah it's Hajimi Takashi San " me and yusaku said .

" huh ? But doesn't he have an alibi and we confirmed it , it was true " said miguri with doubt.

" well that's easy  the destance between his home and the victim 's house is small , he only need 9 to 10 minutes to do the crime , so I don't think his friend will notice his disappearance "

" yeah she is right " said yusaku agreed with my deduction .

" but  why the victim tried to kill Naomi -San " said miguri .

" he caught her cheating on him " I said

" you too are dating right ?" I concluded looking at Takeshi - San and Naomi-san .

The two widened their eyes in shock " h-how did you now ?" .

" the watch "

" watch ?"

" you too have matching watches , that brand was made for  a dating couple , also when I checked Takeshi-san's camera I find many photos of you two together " I said pointing at the camera and watches .

After that Takeshi - San confessed his crime the police take him , meguri - San thanked us then we made our way back home.

"Nee- San you were amazing " said ran .

" yeah just like sharlock Holmes " said shinshi .

" you're really intelligent  child " said yusaku .

I only smiled at them , mentally I was freaking out how to get out of this situation , last time Dad saved me now what ??.

Soon we arrive at the Kudo household

Before I enter

" Rin-chan " yukasu-san called me .

" yes ?"

He bet down and handed me something " I bet this is yours "

I look at it I find it was the tracker I placed on Efun seinsei . ' god it's over ..'

" hmmmm....( a long pause )"

" care to explain ??" I sigh .then I explained to him about the tracker ...etc .

" can I ask you for a favour ??" I asked .he nodded

" please can you keep it a secret "

" okay " he said with a smile patting my head .

" also there is another thing ....." ' it's theb time  it 's now or never  ' I though with determination.

" can you sign this " I asked showing the book I was reading it's yusaku Kudo 's last works .

Then he burst laughing I feel the heat on my checks ' this is so embracing ..'

" I didn't  know you were a  fan of my books well then ...." Then he signed the book .

We entered together the house , I noticed yukiko's shoes in the cabinet .

" yusaku-san , I think you are in trouble ." he followed my gaze when he saw the shoes he froze .

Then we enter the room I find ran and shinshi sitting in the sofa obediently trying not to make any sound .

Suddenly I feel chills  against my skin I quickly take a place on the sofa beside ran trying to act innocent  .

" WELCOME BACK HOME YUSAKU KUDO , DID YOU HAVE FUN , BRINGING  THE CHILDREN TO A CRIME SENSE ...….."

Yusaku -San  got lectured for a very long time . ' yukiko-san is really scary !! '
