8 Chapter 8

*7months later*

It's been 7 months since my first monster brawl in the arena, I have made a fair amount of money from bets In the arena. Fighting against large groups of goblins, sometimes kobolds have been both scary and exciting. I was only allowed to use my claws, tail and the weapons I had been training. My favourite weapon was the spiked club, but I knew it's limitations so I have trained to gain a decent mastery in weapons that deal all forms of damage such as slashing, blunt and piercing damage.

All my cute not so little siblings have also grown decently. I won't say they are as good as me but they went for specialized builds instead of an all rounder one like me.

Eleni focused on the craft of potion making and herbs, while Michalis chose to go the assassin route with his dagger. Not weird considering he is a cat Demi human. Dimitra had talent with the bow, which was weird considering she was a Chientrope. While Nikolaos had talent in blacksmithing, so he devoted himself to that. The hybrid Vasiliki had talent in magic , though she is not as good as me with cheats, her talent is magic was nothing to scoff at. And lastly Vasileios was a guardian in the making as his proficiency with the shield and sword was high for someone his age.

Though my siblings were talented, this put a lot of pressure on me. I mean all of them were going to be adventurers and come to Orario, and if you notice their talent composition, it forms a perfect party and with me an all rounder, I could cover any weak points. This looked way too unnatural, as if it was all planned by someone, or maybe I was just being paranoid. Anyway, my siblings we're going to be adventurers, meaning I felt compelled to make us all end up in the same familia. When I get to Orario, I would have to find a familia with little to no members as I would not leave the lives of my cute siblings to a stranger. I had to create a situation where I would be the captain of a familia, therefore limiting my options and since the Evilus are still running rampant, I had to be even more carful.

Well I though long and hard and came to a conclusion, Plan A would be when I get to Orario go to the guild and look for an empty familia after reviewing the god or goddesses nature. Plan B would be to split up my siblings among the most reputable familias according to their gifts, because I knew the personalities of some gods since I was a reincarnator. The only problem left was how to disguise my features as everything about me screamed attention. Thinking for a while I came to the conclusion that I could use a weak illusion spell and some cloak to make it through for a while, at least until I gain some reputation.

I had initially anticipated that I would arrive in Orario five to six years before canon, but I was scheduled to leave next year at the age of 14. Though my age is a bit late compared to some, I believe my talent and hopefully protagonist plot amour would help me through my journey, and save me from all the crazy shit that is currently happening in Orario.

*3 weeks later*

Today is the day I graduate from Rize's magic class, as she would be returning home spending a whole nine years with us. Rize is a high elf with a lot of pride as during the earlier years, she was a bit prickly but mellowed out eventually. I remember the first day I saw her face without her usual mask, she was sitting outside beneath a tree and I was struck by her beauty. Her eyes shone like two bright gems, and her cheeks were adorned with the faintest hint of a rosy blush. Her full lips curved upward in a soft smile, revealing perfectly straight teeth. Her hair cascaded down her back in waves, as they shown with the sunlight that peeked through the tree leaves. I couldn't help but feel warmth spread through my chest, as if she awakened something inside me. I think that's when I started puberty, but it's was damn hard not to masturbate while thinking of her. Until I stared meditation to calm my raging libido daily.

She is still my first crush but she would be leaving tomorrow after testing my usage of magic in combat in the arena. My female siblings have also grown to be beautiful girls but I don't see them as potential mates, though I am not sure they feel the same. I mean I am handsome and they would be stupid not to notice I wasn't their blood brother with me looking so different from everyone in the family. But I have seen them grow up from young, making it seems morally wrong to think of them in such a manner. Though I want a harem, it should be something harmonious, consensual and feel right.

I don't know what the future holds for me, as I am an anomaly in the world, but i will just live each day as it comes.

Right now I stand in the arena. The loud screams of the crowd to see me show them something cool and the cheers of my siblings. A lot of female fans also cheering for me including Rose's daughter Clair. Well for those that don't remember Rose, she was our neighbour before we moved to the outskirts and she was my mothers friend with a daughter 5 months older than me I think.

Clair is a tiger beast kin and she comes around once in a while to hang out. She has a fiery personality and trains with us from time to time. She is also good with spears and cooking. Though we don't have anything going on now as I don't know if she wants to be in a relationship. I am kind of dense with women, and tend to overthink things when I see mixed signals from them. That's why I was still single before I died. Additionally I had other priorities to focus on, so I couldn't really tell if she was into me. Clair hasn't said anything about being an adventurer yet despite her training with us. Hopefully she wants to be one as It would be a long time before I return to this town after leaving for Orario.

*Creak*

The sound of the gates slowly opening as the scream of goblins and kobolds ready to tear me to pieces could be heard. Noticing the gates open I brought out my grimoire and began to draw the earth rune sign.

With the completion of the rune the ground slightly quakes at its completion. I could feel the continuous drain of mind to sustain the rune. Giving me an urge to end this fast as the spells I cast after this would drain more mind from me.

*Roar*

I could hear the sound of the kobolds roars as they charged towards me as soon as the gates fully opened. I clasped my hand as if in prayer and said "Earth wave" in response the ground quaked as the ground moved like mud causing the fast moving kobolds to lose balance and I followed up by casting "Earth spike" and they were skewered by the spikes that sprung from the ground. My attention was soon brought to the 5 goblins charging towards me from the opposite gate. Seeing as they were too close and I was only allowed to fight with magic, I cast "earth shift" the ground shifted the goblins back to the gates. Confused as they were, they charged once more.

Wanting to look cool in from of my family and the crowd I cast "quicksand" as the goblins sank into the ground and struggled to escape the sand. Seeing as I had a bit of time, and no enemies besides goblins in the sand. I looked to my first crush Rize then clasped my hands once more and channeled all the mind I had left to use the coolest earth spell I had " Meteor".

A small rock could be seen falling from the sky, leaving a fiery trail as it descended toward the arena over the goblins struggling in the quicksand. The spell meteor was way above my capacity to cast but I wanted to try anyway, even at the cost of mind down. Why would I do that you ask? Well because it looked cool. That's what I would reply to anyone. Surprised at my successful cast, though it was a small rock, I moved to the edge of the arena watching the spell while feeling drowsy. My quicksand spell got dispelled as there was no mind to sustain it. But it lasted long enough for the meteor to land before my conciseness faded and I dropped to the ground.

*Boom*

The sound of impact could be heard as the small meteor crashed into the poor goblins.

"...".

Silence filled the arena as the dust settled revealing the small devastation of the meteors impact.

" Why is he so reckless" grandpa Marcus couldn't help but say as their grandson really looked cool but he nearly lost his life for that even in a controlled battle environment and the rest of the family nodded in response.

Rize was a bit shocked but couldn't help but smile at the antics of her student. It was hard not to notice the little dragon saw her as a woman, but she was a high elf, basically royalty, but she had a fiance, it wasn't going to happen. Though she knew he would definitely be a great adventure, because his race was really talented she couldn't help but think this would all fade as he matured a bit more. Anyway she would be leaving tomorrow so she may not meet him in a long time, not forever because both their species were very long lived.

"Sigh, I will go pick him up" grandpa John said as he walked into the arena and picked Draco up, noticing his smiling face as he slept.

*Clap, clap*

*Cheers*

*Chants, Draco, Draco…..*

The crowd erupted in cheers as Draco showed them something cool.

After which the cleaner came to clear the Arena for the other matches. Draco's family went home melancholy as the siblings thought on how they wanted to look cool too.
