44 The Rewards?!

Qing Yi's question garnered everyone's attention, after all there is supposed to be only one person who gets his inheritance, then why five of them are here together? It was obvious that some more tests were left probably, after all they had never heard of inheritances which gave multiple people rewards! Noah smirked and said," Well, infact four of you have lost, not because you failed the test but because the way you completed the test wasn't satisfactory, Only Feng Mian have passed the test!".

His words shocked them, and they glanced at Feng Mian stupidly, while Haitao started praising her like a licking dog, Qing Yi got disappointed in herself, Afterall she looked down upon Feng Mian as someone whom she could defeat with ease, yet reality gave her a slap and told her how she missed such a golden opportunity! While Xin Yan gritted her teeth, realizing she endured all the hell for nothing!

" Emperor Che, of course there is another reason why you have gathered them right?", asked Feng Mian with respect hiding the smile she had on her face. Noah who was disguised nodded and praised her," Good! You are not chosen as the inheritor for nothing after all! Well, I have more treasure than necessary stored up here! Some of which clash with my inheritance so I will be distributing to you four who had done their best after Feng Mian!!".

Their eyes lit up, and they looked at Feng Mian with slight admiration, after all despite having the weakest cultivation among them except Lin Ke, she was the smartest of all of them! Alas, they didn't knew she had advanced through several minor stages making her have the second highest cultivation while her prowess had skyrocketed, otherwise they would have fainted.

Then they looked at Emperor Che with anticipation and reverence, they lost their cultivation and too many things for the inheritance! Thus after getting even some scraps was more than enough to make them happy. " First come forward! Feng Mian!", he said, and she came forward under everyone's eyes which had mixed emotions.

" You get my inheritance, and a treasure ring containing all the resources you would need to sustain your cultivation journey!", he said and passed a ring, while her body glow brightly. Noah was chuckling inside his mind meanwhile,' Damn, I am the best actor! ', he though amusingly. Once Feng Mian received her gift she thanked him and moved behind, he called Haitao next who wore a smirk.

' Damn it!! This bastard came above me!! ', thought Qing Yi clenching her fists, after all Haitao was already stronger and more resourceful than her, thus getting more precious things was like a slap on her face. If this goes on then she would be left behind, and this bastard will surpass her. But she remained silent knowing Emperor Che was very fair, and kindhearted to even give failures like them some treasures.

She could only blame herself for not performing better, and thus could only watch Haitao get some precious things that made everyone shocked! Afterall Haitao announced what he got unlike Feng Mian!! ' Well, it seems the shock therapy had lowered his EQ and IQ by several times ', Noah thought amusingly, the only reason he chose Haitao for the second place and not Qing Yi is because he wanted a stronger dog.

Since he had ordered Feng Mian to use Haitao to give Ye Chen trouble, it would be better if he is more strong and can do more damage to him. Considering that his half of fate had been turned into oblivion, by Noah n'tring him before he even transmigrated, he won't be getting random powerups that easily.

" They have finally come!!!", a elder announced seeing the waves of Disciples coming out of the Pocket realm. Mei Ying breathed in relief seeing Qing Yi coming out safely but then frowned seeing her decreased cultivation realm, it wasn't just her but the Elder from Eternal sect also frowned seeing Xin Yan falling back to Qi Condensation realm from Foundation Establishment Realm!

" What happened inside there Qing Yi?", asked Mei Ying in a stern voice while glancing at Haitao and gasped seeing his decreased cultivation as well! An elder snorted disturbing her Qi Sense and asked," Miss Mei Ying! Don't you think it's rude to see the cultivation level of juniors of other sects?!", she snorted and replied," Well forgive me then, I was just seeing if he had some hand in it".

His face became ugly but he remained silent, after Mei Ying was the Vice-Sect master, a powerhouse who can pinch him to death with ease! Currently she was the strongest cultivator present here! Thus, they couldn't be too aggressive on such small things. Not to mention seeing others cultivation realm wasn't that big of an issue. It's just he didn't like the fact that others would know about Haitao's weakened cultivation.

Mei Ying ignored him and looked at Qing Yi, who started explaining her about what happened. It was not big of a secret and even if she were to tell it, with her master backing her, she didn't have to worry about other vying for her reward. Not to mention, others also started explaining what had transpired inside their, shocking everyone! Although this pocket realm was special they didn't expect an Heaven-defying Inheritance to pop up out of nowhere.

Those who passed the first tests, but failed in the end while getting their cultivation retarded where reprimanded by their respective sect Elders! Afterall other than five winners, everyone lost from this ordeal! Meanwhile the fact that two of Heavenly Sword Sect got the rare treasures resounded the entire place! Also, the fact that their new Prime Disciple who got the inheritance caused an uproar! Her fame skyrocketed!

Mei Ying couldn't help but become disappointed in Qing Yi," You lose your previous cultivation realm and regressed to the First Minor realm of Foundation Establishment Realm! Thankfully you won something in the end and got the third place otherwise I would had to re-think about my decision of taking you as my disciple", she said in a threatening tone, not realizing that the threat she made to make Qing Yi work harder and ponder about her mistakes had an negative effect!

Qing Yi lowered her head and nodded, but inside she was dissatisfied with her master! The resources she gets compared to Haitao is nearly less than half as compared to his! Haitao is also way older and experienced cultivator than her! Even Feng Mian who is a monster in her eyes, surely gets more resources than her and Haitao combined, even despite this, she managed to get in the third place, yet her master instead of praising her is threatening her!

She had a sour mood and just wanted to take out it somehow, but remained silent and obedient in front of Mei Ying. Xin Yan on the other hand, was greeted warmly by their Sect Elder who praised her seeing her rewards! Afterall the treasures she received could help Sect Master to become stronger! Thus in their eyes she became more important and was sure to rise up in a higher position, One can only say that world is unfair. 

Lastly, the underdog Ling Ken was directly promoted to an Core Disciple and praised by his Sect Elder! Afterall even if he was in the last position, the fact that someone like him even got the fifth position and rare treasures increased his value in Red Lotus Sect's eyes. Ling Ken meanwhile grinned while an female cultivator suddenly hugged his hand between her breasts and started praising him.

Ye Chen meanwhile with a bad expression looked at him, ' Why?! I am someone who is chosen by an Immortal! Then why did he passed the test! ', he thought in jealousy. Normally he wouldn't be that jealous considering Ling Ken was his good friend and he had an Immortal's inheritance, but, his cultivation has regressed! While he got nothing in return! No rare herbs, treasures, nothing! Thus he was extremely jealous of his good friend, Ling Ken and cracks started forming in their relationship.

" Ye Chen! I am happy that you are fine!", said Ling Ken seeing Ye Chen, who just nodded, and made an ugly smile and congratulated him," Ling Ken! Congratulations for making our Sect proud! ", he said, and Ling Ken nodded happily,' Huh! Brother Ye Chen previously you had impressed me with your rapid rise in cultivation, but now you have regressed! Well you can be only my lackey now! ', he thought while groping the female cultivator's ass with a smirk, and she moaned lightly.

" Uh, Sect Elder can I get back in the flying ship? ", he asked, and the Elder nodded looking at him and the female cultivator knowing where it was going, meanwhile Ye Chen got even more jealous. Although the female cultivator he was groping was trash compared to fairies like Xin Yan, Qing Yi and Feng Mian, who had a perfect face, and a body that could make any men drool.

She was still a small beauty and realizing his good friend was going to having a pleasurable time, while he remained a virgin frustrated him. ' Ling Ken! I will soon surpass you, and let you realize I am the better one! ', he thought vowing to teach him a lesson. Their friendship which would have become strong enough for one to entrust an entire kingdom on other, now cracked like pieces of glass.

Noah meanwhile looked at the scene with a smirk,' Well, there goes one of the supporting character of Ye Chen, and well Ling Ken's use will over soon', he thought knowing that Ye Chen will be losing a major supporting character in his early development also Ling Ken, who thought himself at the peak didn't knew he paved a despairing future by deciding to have sex with the female cultivator that approached him.

While she was a small beauty, she was a gold-digger! She had slept with several men, and aged elders for Cultivation resources and even had been gang banged once by several core disciples. ' Now, it comes to seep slowly into Qing Yi's heart ', he thought as he glanced at down casted expression of Qing Yi, Mei Ying didn't knew that her current words made Qing Yi an easy target for him. [ Go Daddy! Take her heart, mind and then claim her body! ], she said and he nodded, ' As for Mei Ying, hehe', he chuckled thinking about the ways he would use her as pawn.
